Hey, everyone, my idea was like, "Hey, let's make a Cosmere TCG!" Trellium however, has a ridiculously well thought out system (still needs a little work, as everything does). But's its a lot more complete and well laid out than mine. So if you would like to help, head over to his google sheet, at this link. It's currently only designed for Mistborn, but with a little tweaking it could be adapted for use in the whole Cosmere.

Now that you say that I think you're totally right on Eshonai, although I think she will eventually be killed, and as for Szeth, he is kind of a wild card, but unless we really get some serious things going on with Nightblood and him in Oathbringer, I think he will survive the front half of the series, and like I said, he's one of my favorites too so I'm really hoping he survives as long as possible. I really like the way you laid this out. When you put it like this, it all becomes a lot clearer, and I think you're mostly right. I think Renarin, Jasnah, or Dalinar will eventually die though, but not necessarily before their flashback books. I really like how FeatherHawkes put it: I'm going to add a poll to this, on who we think is most likely to die. Sorry, I'm obsessed with polls right now.

The Lord Maelstrom Ruler, kind of rolls off the tongue a little... right? Nah, not really, but I'm sure you could come up with a different, and possibly a more terrifying name, good luck with that.

Sorry, it's been 3 years since I've read WoR and TWoK. I'm about 60% done on my TWoK reread, then I'll dive back into WoR, so I don't remember as much as some. When we're talking about Ash, we mean Shalash, right? Also, I don't remember Eshonai dying, but I probably just forgot. My personal fantasy is that in some big battle with voidbringers, Eshonai will kill Renarin, sparking Dalinar to rage, and he kills Eshonai, possibly in the end of book 4 or 5, but that could also be a great ending to Oathbringer, what do you think? However I doubt Eshonai will die before her flashback book, but I think she will definitely die at some point. I think that during the gap between book 5 and 6, it would be really cool to have Dalinar actually go mad, and Renarin's flashbacks could actually be happening in his mind? Probably just another crackpot theory, but who knows? I totally agree about Jasnah, and to add to your analysis, she also tends to dominate storylines she's part of. I don't see Szeth dying, but that's probably biased as he's my favorite character after Kaladin

Hey, guys, I've been thinking about this idea for a while now, wondering if anyone's interested and would want to help. I've been wanting to create a Cosmere Trading Card Game. So we know that the flashback characters for the Stormlight Archive are as follows, First five are Kaladin, Shallon, Dalinar, Szeth, and Eshonai. The last five books are Renarin, Jasnah, Lift, Taln, and Shalash. We also know that Brandon has said that it is possible that characters may not survive until the book with their flashback sequences. What characters do we think won't survive, will survive, or you really, really want to survive? Personally the characters I think that will die before their books are Renarin and Jasnah. Other characters that I think have a possibility to die before their flashbacks are Jasnah. At this point, we know Kaladin and Shallon are alive during their books, and I for one am fairly certain Dalinar will survive Oathbringer. The other characters are up for grabs though. What do you guys think?

Do we know if Odium is the villain for the entire, overarching Cosmere plot, or just Stormlight?

Okay, but how would this work for a Windrunner? Could you potentially infuse the blade before you threw it, and lash it to the point of a person you want it to hit? I'm a bit rusty on my lashings though, do you lash to a specific point in space or a specific direction? Or can you lash it to a specific point, like a moving object, and have it track that object?

Granted, but you shall now glow, forever lighting an area around you as far as you can see. I ask the Nightwatcher to grant me perfect mimicry of any voice or sound, perfect pitch, and a perfect voice.

Wondering what everyone thinks about the idea of long-ranged Shard weapons (i.e Shardbows, and Shardguns) I feel like this would be really cool, but I'm not sure how it would work. Sharblades cut the soul, so it would probably have to be the arrow or the bullet, but you couldn't have more than one at a time if that's the case, or maybe it would be a Shardquiver that infused the arrows inside with Stormlight (or a similar thing with a gun cartridge). What do you guys think? Any ideas?

I really like the idea of what Dalinar asked for from the Nightwatcher being to be like Gavilar! However, my personal theory on that, and I'm sure someone else has come up with this as well, is that forgetting his wife was the boon, and we don't really know what the curse was yet.

That would be a pretty tense road trip, and probably several Sharblades stuck into Hoid by the time they reached Urithuru.

I've been a Sanderfan for several years now, but it's just been in the last few months that I've really been digging into Cosmere lore. I have this crazy theory that Hoid is a shard (Ethier the 17th Shard, or Odium) I'm sure there's a WoB or some other info that disproves this. Does anyone know of any info that would make this obsolete, or could this be a legit theory?

I honestly expected Surgebinding to win, but now that I think about it... So I guess Feruchemy makes the most sense, still, I would hate to have to have equal periods of terrible inability in certain areas for an equal period of double strength, which is why I chose Surgebinding, and Mistborn as my second choice, because they both use external power sources, they are end-positive, and I don't have to be really slow or really sick for long periods of time.

FYI I have not read any of the Oathbringer chapters that are out yet, and I would appreciate no spoilers if any of these scenes do occur. Hey everyone. I just saw a thread on if you would rather be a full shardbearer, a mistborn, or a surgebinder. I decided to do a poll on this, so here it is. I added in the other magic systems from other books as well. Tell me if I left anything out.
