  1. Spoilers man! Some of us haven't dream read Firefight yet. ... Ok I actually dream read it the night after I finished Steelheart
  2. Yeah that was PP and Saccharine, and it was more that they just didn't think that some guy on a bike was necessarily a threat until he'd already got close enough. And yes, he will be going somewhat insane again, because otherwise why would he be with the Whacko Brigade? (Repackage it as the Empire of Light all you want Lightwards, it will always be the Whacko Brigade to me )
  3. I hope you don't mind my adding these minor Epics Twi, I'm just trying to give the MEE a bit more substance, BioMed may be a tad powerful for them I've realized but he'll be dying soon so I hope that's ok.
  4. Velth smiled at Dukes assesment, the Nord was understandably wary of the mages and the potential for traps. "'Frosty' here is basically designed for setting off traps" Velth replied with a grin of his own. "He'll take the lead and hopefully bear the brunt of any runes they've left, I'll silence the mages while you two dispatch the infantry" He handed a potion to both Duke and Nyn before downing one himself. "Shock resistance potion, the mages are probably there to deal with other mages so they'll be using lightning based attacks to try to deplete Magicka reserves, the runes may be fire-based but unfortunately I used up all of those potions when some research on unbound Flame Atronachs got... messy. I'll try to fury one of the other bandits and between him and my Daedra we shouldn't have to worry about runes."
  5. BioMed watched the veritable army of Thought Town carefully, he was to watch for patrol patterns, weapons capabilities and a hundred other things he didn't really know anything about, but Refill had convinced him to do it anyway and he would try his best. His vision capabilities didn't extend far enough to peer into the compound but it did allow him to see the weaponry of all the guards, as well as pick out one who had a malignant tumor in his lungs. Biopsy to confirm, refer to Oncology for further assesment and treatment. BioMed shook his head, dismissing the train of thought, drilled into him during his training. He was startled when a large group of Epics departed the building, more Epics than were attributed to even be working with ThoughtTown. Looks like Refill's not the only one who's been recruiting. He turned to the Epic next to him, Muffle had the ability to completely silence an area 2 metres around him. "Muffle, head back to Zip, tell him that Altermind's taking his Epics out for some reason, it might be possible to attack while they're away to minimize our casualties." Muffle nodded and ran to the motorbike they'd stashed on their arrival, no sound came as he started it and rode down the eerily quiet streets. BioMed watched for a few more minutes before making his own way back, walking a considerable distance further to find the other bike, without the ability to muffle the sound he might draw too much attention from the soldiers if he'd left it closer. He was nearly back to the school buildings when he spotted a couple walking down the street, there were a few still out but it was the dress of these two that set them apart, a purple cloak and one of those really old-style dresses. Epics, part of ThoughtTown? No, too far, we're in the Empire's territory now. BioMed slowed his bike to normal speeds as he approached the couple, just crossing the road as he passed. He Turned his x-ray vision back on to locate the jugular vein of the man and placed his hand on the guys neck as he passed, concentrating in the brief moment their skin touched he severed the mans jugular. The man dropped instantly, purple cloak tangling in his legs as he fell, his breathing became laboured and filled with the gurgling noise of blood entering his lungs, there were no visible marks. His throat had been slit from the inside.
  6. You didn't make an infinite bag of oreos? Or even a botomless chip packet!? Some people just don't know how to enjoy spatial distortion abilities.
  7. "I need the names of the Epics involved, anything you know about their powers, and other information relevant to the situation." Megan rolled her eyes to try to distract herself from her desire to pop the man's out of his skull. "And you're going to keep on needing them until you all stop threatening us." She said, gracing the man with a disdainful sneer and earning one of her own from Impact. This was all her idea anyway, why's she getting all high and mighty? MV softened slightly as she regarded her sister, Impact was her rock, her way of determining when her emotions got too out of hand. She smiled apologetically such as she was able and received one in return. Thankfully Autumn Glass seemed to have deemed that they at least weren't deserving of immediate execution, and it seemed that Backtrack would receive similar treatment. Megan was startled to realize that she actually missed the Seeing Epic and his weird sunglasses. It had only been a short time but she'd found herself worried about leaving him with 'the Slontze'. It's just because he helped us get away from the creepy museum, I'm just trying to repay the favor. She gave a small internal laugh. It's not like I actually like him or anything.
  8. Severely tempted to add a resurrection Epic ironically named YOLO, but then I'd have to type that abbreviation non-sarcastically at some point and then I think I'd have to hit myself. Oh well. YOLO.
  9. Mitosis: Hello Chimera: Oh not another one, no I'm not joining your alliance! Mitosis: *Sneers* I need no alliance I am my own alliance. Chimera: Oh I wish there were a hundred more like you. Mitosis: *Smiles*
  10. Velth smiled at the recollection of Mzulft, quite a few important finds he'd made there, Dwemer ruins were always a great source of information and loot provided you didn't mind the potential to get decapitated by a Centurion. "I'll take rear guard I think, the 'snowball' will take the middle, as you noticed he's not terribly good at sneaking or differentiating when to attack." Velth put up an invisibility spell before following the Nord and Orc further into the tunnel where the next ambush awaited.
  11. Kobold did you want to do another post in the museum or meet up with the MEE traitor next?
  12. Suggested crewmembers Catchsail: Wind Epic, can cause powerful winds of varying direction by whistling. SeaSpark: Electrical Epic, uses his ability to perform electrolysis on various salts in the ocean, causing eruptions of toxic chlorine gas and metallic sodium and potassium which then spontaneously ignite. Couldn't-come-up-with-a-name-man: Capable of fusing objects together, creates perfect shackles that can't be unlocked, can walk upside down by fusing his shoes to the roof. Lost a leg before calamity and has since fused a wooden leg with himself. Clockwork: Can concentrate his power on any object he's touched to 'charge' it, causing the object to glow, after a length of time he can release the objects charged energy causing it to either spin rapidly or be repulsed and shoot away from him. Can use a long beam with his power and a significant charging time to create whirlpools.
  13. Maaaaybe I'll pick some out, I think it was fairly variable depending on the size of the ship.
  14. I see what you did there But if you're serious I can make any Epics in crew if needed.
  15. Vondra could be single-handedly dealing with: The Skydiver: Automated force-field, activates whenever something approaches him at high velocity.
  16. Voidknight would have carried a fairly wide variety of melee weapons, he mostly used a claymore though. Agreed Kobold, I'm more familiar with the layout and appearance of Luthadel than I am Portland somehow :/
  17. I do believe he did actually, but it would be lying outside of Chimeras zoo.
  18. Time for plot-convenient Epics to arrive and place a Battleaxe within handy distance for Timeport: Tel'Aran: Precognitive Epic, can sense the future needs of people to pass through his location.
  19. You are cordially invited to join the celebration of the birthday of Dr. Funtimes. Pancakes will be provided along with a variety of activities including: Nighthound Pinyata Pin the tail on the Quota Corpsemaker Bouncy Castle Whack-a-Koschei Please RSVP using something other than your walkie talkie which has been turned into a Steak.
  20. Well VG is one of the few Epics capable of immobilizing him, I'll be holding out for her wrapping him in sheets and suspending him from the roof for everyone to use as a pinyata until his weakness is discovered.
  21. Refill seethed at Chimera's dismissal, it was one of the only such refusals he'd had yet. Not interested in Dominion? What the Sparks is wrong with him? All Epics want dominion. He narrowed his eyes suspiciously at the offered gift, certain that there was some form of catch behind it, but still Chimera was too important an Epic to risk offending by declining his offer. Refill plastered a smile onto his face and acceptedd the frog. "Well thank you for your consideration Chimera, I'm sure we'll meet again even if you are unwilling to be directly involved I'm sure we could be of great assistance to eachother." A quick check of the sun showed that it was nearly nightfall, they needed to head back, he'd wasted too much time already on this fool's errand. "We'll take our leave then, we have certain... plans that need attending too." Refill said, his grin genuine this time. If Chimera proved to be of little assistance they could always let those 'plans' encompass his Zoo as well. ================================================================================ Zip stalked his office impatiently, awaiting the return of all the Epics who'd gone out recruiting, several of them were part of the strike teams tonight and they needed to lay plans. Yorrick entered the office, the middle aged man gave a nod of respect then swept across the room to gather the latest pile of paperwork, followed by a skull floating eerily behind him and grinning amidst an aura of fire. "A moment Yorrick." Zip asked, stalling the Epic before he could leave. Yorrick turned around, his cloak whirling behind him, obviously curious. "You're part of the Empire strike team yes?" Zip asked. Yorrick nodded, mirrored creepily by the floating skull behind him. "No one else seemed to mind who they attacked, but you asked personally to be assigned to the museum, why?" A grimace flashed across the Epics face, he looked thoughtful, considering carefully his answer. "There's a certain Epic within the empire, name of Nighthound, he only entered the city a short while ago but one of the first things he did was go on a rampage, he's killed dozens. One of those happened to be a friend. That's all." A glint in Yorricks eyes belied his statement, there was definitely something more, something unsaid still. Zip considered quietly for a moment. "Very well then, I need you to arrange transport for the strike team to the museum, blasted things flying a hundred feet in the air. There's a graveyard just behind that church down the street a ways, appropriate what you need from there." Zip said, dismissing Yorrick. Yorrick smiled as he left, eager for the attack to begin.
  22. En route to the Sadry's was my plan. The real origin of the Saint Valentine's day massacre
  23. I mean the traitor from the MEE who wants to gain favor with him by warning him before the attack, I thought it might be some interesting info for Lightwards to hold over AM for the meeting.
  24. That we should kill Leech so Nighthound has no reason to exist?
  25. Muffle boots + Dark brotherhood gloves + one-handed boosting armour + Invisibility spell in one hand, dagger in the other = You just won the game.
