I'm inclined to agree with Edge, until we actually get around to destroying the state I don't know that I particularly want to plan for it, I'd rather it happened organically.

One type of bacon Inquisitor is useless, but we at the 17th Shards resident Hemalurgic research institute of the Dark Alley have created a gold compounding pig who can heal immediately and so provide us with infinite bacon. We call it: The best thing ever. -
Plus the amount of Chromium you'd need to swallow would kill you, you'd need to be compounding your luck by 10^100 for something that improbable to happen.

I know that pugs have become something of a mascot of cuteness here but I like to mix things up every now and then so here's some leopard kitten for alternative cuteness.

Society still functioned pretty well if banks were still giving out loans, I'd say that some forms of media at least would still be operational, indeed they'd be even more lucrative, people would be far moree news likely to want to check the news if a bunch of supervillains were suddenly terrorizing the country. If nothing else simple word of mouth should have carried word of an Epic as powerful as Steelheart.

Well if you give any Epic infinite power and range they'd be pretty OP, if a teleporter had no limitations they could teleport a city into the sun a speed Epic could kill everyone on earth before a second passed. I think the trick would be something similar to Aldo, keeping it within a few orders of magnitude, so 1% could become 100%, .1% could become 10% and .01% could become 1% but .00000000001% could never be made to be 100%

Yeah there was a discussion a while ago once we all finished Firefight about how close we'd stick to canon and I think the consensus was that we'd try to stick where possible but not let it get in the way of the story too much. I rationalized it by believing there's an Epic in Oregon who alters probability

Hmmm... well the only Epic priest I have is a fire Epic obsessed with burning down everything he sees so I'm guessing that wouldn't be a great ceremony either. I don't suppose Funtimes could officiate a ceremony dedicated to his Noodliness?

Bioterror left the window open as he left the car, orchestral strains following him as he walked up to the couple who had just left a bizarre looking outhouse with stained glass windows and were smiling in what seemed to be halfway between relief and fear. Remember, new city, can't keep killing people. Got to make a good first impression to show restraint. "Hello" He said, altering his voice to a slightly gravelly tone "I seek the rulers of Astoria for a meeting." He altered the pigment in his eyes to a dark red, one of the simpler alterations he could make but one that showed the couple what they were dealing with. "It would be wise to tell me where to find them." The young man pointed back to the building they'd just exited with a trembling finger. "The Financier helps Lucentia, he could help you." Bioterror looked back at the building skeptically before glaring at the man. "Was that your idea of a joke? Little bugs like you don't get to make jokes." In his anger at the idea that the rulers of Astoria could reside in such an absurd place he let a thread of his power out, destroying lung cells, he managed to hold back from killing him. Just. "Teach him to mind his betters." He said to the young woman, who managed only a tearful nod before picking up a limp arm and dragging her partner away. Bioterror headed towards the ridiculous building, might as well see if anyone here had any idea, if not, well he couldn't be expected to show too much restraint could he? "Anybody here?" He yelled as he approached "I'm looking for the rulers of Astoria."
