Still working out some internet problems because apparently the new house is in a third world country because how else does it take 3 months to get an internet connection set up in this day and age? Anyway, worked out a temporary solution for now so I can still drop by and start posting again, and hopefully in a couple of weeks I can start spamming the boards all day every day again. Also: TWI OVERTOOK KOBOLD!?!?!?!

That's mostly due to a dispute with my ISP over whether or not I should be allowed to have internet. -.- I have more regular access again now so I should be popping in from time to time. But regardless the Dark Alley is more of a Spikocracy than a Spiktatorship so as long as you hold to the general tenants of the DA, all are accepted.

So on the day our internet was finally supposed to be installed we got a text saying they couldn't make it. Which annoyed me but you know, ISPs are just like that so whatever. Then I read the next part that said they couldn't come back for another month. -.- I'm thinking Calamity might have just risen and turned me into an Epic because I really want to go on a rampage right now. Well I ended up buying some mobile broadband for now so I should at least have relatively good Shard access from now on. Anyone mind giving me an update of where I might be needed?

Depends what Vin you're talking about and against which Iron man, WoA era-Vin vs. MCU Tony in an arena battle where both knew of each others abilities? Whoever strikes first. Mist burning Vin vs. pretty much any suit? Vin wins. Hulkbuster vs. Vin who can only use her 'Luck'? Hulkbuster for sure. Vin when she takes up Preservation vs. all possible perumtations of Iron man simultaneously? Still Vin.

I'm inclined to think this is the answer, the more your cognitive ideal of yourself differs from what is recorded as the spiritual fact the less likely the healing is to work correctly. So Miles would probably have appeared to age a bit slower but at a certain point he'd snap back to the correct age if he tried to push it too far.

Unless Voidus made the Epic, in which case they usually don't have the passive resistance because it's fun to have a pyrokinetic Epic who gets severe burns whenever they use their power Personally I'd quite like to see a circumstance-limited healing, we've seen a few with side effects like Nighthounds black smoke but I don't think we have an Epic who can only heal from something specific.

Ok, looks like it'll be another 2-3 weeks before our internet is fully working, in the meantime I'll try to steal some wifi when possible and get a post or two up. Also I have now added another 1800 Epics to my list because I've been going slowly insane without regular shard access. *Twitches violently*

On this note it depends how exactly you arrange the fights, all of Scadrial vs. all of Roshar? In which case Roshar gets Parshendi, Scadrial gets fully functioning Koloss, Kandra who are unbound, every Allomancer and feruchemist, TLR, Southerners, insanely huge armies and knowledge of Hemalurgy. If it was a fight between empires then it's the Final Empire vs. Alethkar, but the Final Empire still has Allomancers, Koloss and Kandra.

Well I wasn't feeling worried enough to comment on it but I did think a bit the same. Then again I'm only half Canadian so maybe I'm just half as polite. Still waiting for internet to get sorted at new house so unfortunately my Shard time is still pretty low, I'm keeping up to date on my phone it's just harder to reply to everyone on it.

Well extracting it may not be particularly simple. Technically the Mists are Lerasium too and no ones managed to actually condense it into a metal yet.

Yeah a Shardblade would kill a Koloss, even if it didn't, cutting through their spine as though it was non-living would still kill them. Whether it would cut a spike or simply kill the soul in it is an interesting question though.
