    Doing so is where my skepticism lies. Convincing Odium that he does not actually have them by the throat is something which would require a con artist of epic proportions. I mean turning strength into a situation of perceived weakness that will require the skills of a con artist the likes of which we have yet to see in the SA.

    Its interesting that Tavanast goes out of his way to tell Dalinar that convincing Odium that a champion is needed is their only chance. Would Odium who is obviously not slouch in the strategy department fall for so obvious a ploy? We shall have to wait and see.

    I am not sure that enough evidence exists to unequivocally point at a candidate for murderer. I am however leaning towards a member of Sadeas's camp who is out for blood perhaps Ialai perhaps someone else.

    The key in the beginning was the author saying that they would be called a heretic. who is going to call Eshonai a heretic for writing a book. I still think that mad old Taravangian is behind the book.

    It is not a matter of speed. Whatever led to having formed the bond in her early years involved the swearing of the 1st ideal and probably the speaking of a truth and the gaining of the blade. Over time the bond degraded , but she never went back to zero. Thus she had already cut through some of the metaphorical red tape which allowed her to have a blade earlier than say Kaladin.
