@Arlin It depends on what kind of investiture you like to work with. My specialties are Feruchemical and Awakening. I also do Rosharan. If you want selish magics, I would recommend @MacThorstenson. Other than that, I might recommend another experimental item. It is an interesting concept. It is my Rosharan substitute for Seons. It is an Awakened Gemstone. It acts like a Seon in many ways. It offers companionship and communication, but I am unable to figure out how to make it hover in the air. It is made from a broam-sphere sized perfect gemstone (those are hard to come by) and in so doing, There are no markings on it. It requires stormlight to perform it's functions though.

I read a few discussions and didn't find anything that really answered my question. My question is if I were a Nicrosil ferring, and a squire with the ability to breath in stormlight, could I breath in stormlight and store it in a nicrosilmind?

@BitBitio In your case, I can get you a nicroband bracer. You will need to find someone(s) to refill it when it empties. It is experimental, but due to the awakening, it can only perform the original function. The other metals on it are iron and steel. It will grant you Allomantic iron and steel, but will feed on your speed and weight. You still have to ingest the metal though. Also he may be a little finniky. If he is, allow him to tap a little more of your weight and speed. That usually will calm him down and he will return to his normal feeding pattern. You may have to figure out how to remove the area of armor where the bracer goes. Aluminum is torturous and blocks his abilities.

But doesn't burning aluminum shut down all metals, including itself? Doesn't storing your identity in aluminum basically shut down who you are? I realize this doesn't explain Duralumin.

I must say. The way you wrote it was amazing. I'm just an amateur, but the way it made logical sense, plus like Kureshi said, the casualness and foreshadowing were very good. Have some Fortune and Mental Speed. Plus a bit of Connection for good measure. I always love exploring it in the POV of the bad guy is the hero in their own eyes.

Now offering a new, limited time selection! Ten perfect gemstones. Through my travels, I was able to come across and collect these rarities. Now with a new technique, I have created three sizes. We have small, about the size that would fit into the pommel of a shardblade. Medium, about the size of a fishbowl. And large, about the size of a large beachball.

Abi stumbled in. There had been another beating. Apparently, she had used acid to scrub the walls and now she had ruined it. If I could see, maybe I would be able to tell when something is wrong. She would try harder next time. Her metalminds were empty and she was hungry. So much so that she started to crawl toward the wall so that she could feel her way to the kitchens. Hopefully, she could find some scraps in the waste bins.

I am a beginner just like pretty much everyone else, but I have the same advice. Write. Write in your book, free write, write a story for someone, or just write something with no beginning or end. Just a midpiece with feeling. Anything works, but remember to not use it as an excuse to not write in your book. That said, have this Coin of Weight. Tap it when someone is pushing you to do something and you need to stand your ground.

@Belzedar That's the cool part. So the planet's universal name is Tera. Given names are all over the board so far, but many of self-given names have a meaning behind them. I will probably use more cultural names (For some reason I didn't think of that). The elements are referred to by their Esperanto name. (The Holy Tounge). The idea with the clans and kingdoms is a little reversed since the kingdoms are more Germanic and Gaelic while the clans are actually the Latin-derived. I am using it though. I have Gaelic Kingdom Names, the rest will be germanic. The clans I have no problems nameing. When I start on people, Rulers, and magic weapons the names are going to be more difficult to come up with.

I know what you are talking about with Elend. He doesn't have a beard in my mind. The interesting part is that I pictured Sazed that way even before I knew he was a Feruchemist. It's probably the bracers.
