I agree. There are so many awesome characters from Nyn to Moiraine to Lan it's hard to pick so I went with the one I loved the most. Aqua was definitely my favorite in terms of story, the battle system wasn't my favorite so it made her seem weaker than even Ven. I hope she feels stronger in 0.2.

I'm glad I live in a country that isn't afraid to publish a big book. It's crazy to me that you have to pay for the same book multiple times just to get it all. And people complain more about DLC and micro transactions.

Kind of get that at my work as well, but it's more something my mom experiences since she'll present an idea, everyone all "I don't think so", a day or two later someone else suggests the exact same thing and suddenly everyone wants to do it!

You've seen them in the original Japanese or did you go to the anime expo where they were selling both early and showing screenings of part 3?

I've never heard of that edition. I actually have a notes on what the recommended reading should be if it was 1 book as planned and you have no idea how much flipping I have to do when I do get to that point.

Did you read them by book order or chronological order?

@Retsam I agree. Heroes of Olympus was fun but wasn't as 'tragic' as the first series. I think with Gsia the point was that she's only dangerous when she's fully awake and they had to keep her sleeping to save everyone, otherwise she would've done worse than Kronos did. On the Nico is gay thing, I think it was supposed to be guessed in the books before Blood but was just handled badly. If I hadn't accidentally spoiled myself on that I probably wouldn't have guessed until it was outright said. But it was just as bad having the creepy kid be the gay quota for the series. Overall it seems like he's trying to replicate the winning formula from the first series but missing the mark just enough with the whole agenda checklist he's doing. It's fine to include if it makes sense with something that came from the original myths, like the environmentalist message with Grover gelling with Satyrs being nature spirits.

I've got something similar, invisible pot holes. There are some you can't see until you're right up to them or are in just the right spot for you not to slow down at all. My mom always berates me when I hit these ones by going "didn't you see it?" me: If I saw it why would I hit it? There's also one that no matter how much it gets patched always comes back and it's right on an intersection right after the crosswalk on the right hand side. In order to avoid it you have to go into the opposing lane but when there are cars there you have no choice but to hit it.

I haven't seen it myself, but the clips I've seen were bad. Also you knows it's bad when the entire costume is CGI instead of being practical. If Power Rangers can have real physical costumes then why can't GL get a real costume that's augmented with CG?

Here's my favorite characters: Carmen Sandiego: Her cheek and humor at making her thefts into a game make her pretty awesome. Ami Mizuno (Sailor Moon): She's smart, resourceful and does not give up on her friends. Yuna (Final Fantasy X): A sweet girl who cares for others but when faced with the truth keeps her determination going to accomplish her goals. Aqua (Kingdom Hearts): She is someone who wasn't supposed to be a hero and she ended up doing the most damage to Xehanorts schemes. Her determination to protect her friends is something I love about her but is flawed when it comes to the darkness. Nynaeve (Wheel of Time): Out of all the characters in this series Nyn has to be my favorite with her fierce, but kind, approach to doing things, willing to go around the rules of what is possible and the moment she gets over her block is pure awesome! The Doctor: They are a multitude of people who can save the day no matter what and can dissolve conflicts to try bringing peace between two races. Anna and Elsa: I can really identify with these sisters through their loneliness. Sometimes I feel like Elsa by wanting to be away from others but then I'll feel like Anna and want to be with people. You can see my favorite characters tend to be women despite me being a guy. It's hard for me to pick favorite guys since they all tend to be cut from the same cloth.

Yes, that's the one. The one from the terrible GL movie is your preferred GL? To each their own I guess. He was the best!

Yeah, I had it down as when she saved him. The Kredik Shaw one was just part of the bigger scene of Vin escaping from the dungeon with no Allomancy and a naked eunuch and Elend just happens to arrive to 'save' her.

XD Seriously, who rides a horse through the drive through? One that's a little silly I've heard of is a McDonald's up in the north of Norway or Sweden where you need a snowmobile but it's so cold you have to eat your food right there. What is the point of a drive through at that location?

Here's something random I saw a couple years back that you can only find in Texas. Someone had gone through the drive through at Arby's on a horse! I had never seen that before and this wasn't a rural area either.

I'm pretty sure the text had her in her underwear the entire time and she showed up at Clubs shop in her skivvies, which became part of the joke about her not understanding why the guys thought it was indecent to be in her underwear when it was no more revealing than her normal outfit, so unless she was walking around naked prior to working with Kelsier she was never naked. Even the annotations show during the second time she is in her underwear that even he couldn't make her naked since she was only 17 and thus underage.

And exploiting loopholes and "If it's not mentioned it's fair game" to beat them. It could also be used to show how the Librarians can legally do stuff in the captured kingdoms.
