Oh man this is hard. Slight spoilers for like everything.
1. Words of Radiance (I can't possibly say all of the awesome things about this book)
2. Way of Kings (Because Kaladin is a boss)
3. Well of Ascension (am I the only one who really liked this book?? I don't think I've seen anyone else like the Zane subplot, maybe it's just because I've been a teenage girl recently and I can see where Vin's coming from. I don't think she ever really loved him and I was never really worried about that, but I think she needed to consciously choose Elend when she had other options.)
4. Warbreaker (love Siri and Seb, also Lightsong's humor and Nightblood being a destructive puppy)
5. Final Empire (because Kelsier. Also because Vin and Elend at the balls are adorable.)
6. White Sand (prose) (I nearly cried when I finsihed this because I know the sequel can't possibly be out for like fiftyever)
7. Shadows of Self (Oh man this one also made me want to cry. But just because it's sad. In a good way.)
8. Hero of Ages (Still liked this one, especially the ending. I think my lower ranking of it probably comes from having parts of it spoiled, and the dramatic changes in Elend's character, which while necessary, also made me sad. I enjoyed reading him more when he could afford to be cute and innocent.)
9. Bands of Mourning (Wanted to rank this one higher because I love Steris but I can't ;; )
10. Alloy of Law (Decent, just... don't really have much else to say about it. Wayne is cool?? I didn't expect Lessie to die in the first chapter??)
11. Elantris (the actual inside Elantris bits with Raoden were cool, but I didn't find the rest of it as gripping as his other books)
So this basically turned into what I love about every Cosmere book... ^^;

@Tesh - the Elantris one and depressed Kaladin ones are great XD
New Spring:
SpoilerTwo girls with magic powers go to banks and shop for dresses. Later one of them throws a man in a lake, they grumble at each other, and then he's stuck with her for life.

Sounds like there's a good reason Arelon never had an army. And why the final battle in Elantris had to take place in a different country. Raoden in Elantris seems super OP.

Marsh vs literally anyone.
Harmony vs Odium.
Saaaame
Are these supposed to be ones from the same book, or can they be from different ones? Because I think Kaladin vs. Kelsier would be awesome, especially because their fighting styles would just be so different.

@Sunbird Yep that was it, besides Javert also having an unhealthy obsession with tracking him down.
You know you're a Sanderfan when you implement Steris's idea of prewriting your humor into your daily life.

When you try to use the concept of hemalurgy to explain your aversion to shots.
Haha I really like this one!
When you watch Le Mis, and just picture Javert as Nale the whole time. ...And sometimes Jean Valjean as Lift.

When you play murder at midnight (AKA, hide-n-go seek) with some younger cousins and you think, when it is your turn to find people, you think how much easier it would be if you could walk on walls, or glow.
But then they would see you coming! Much better to be a Mistborn and see the lines of metal moving from their buttons or watches. (:

I apologize for the necro, but this seemed like the best place to put this.
@Extesian I just reread the Ym interlude and when he was interacting with the Iriali urchin boy he mentions that his hair and skin were golden. No mention of the eyes. It says that the gold cast to the skin can only be seen in sunlight, but that the hair is always noticeable.
Figured it was worth mentioning, in case the eyes are a false trail, and as skin color has not been mentioned here.
Jumping into this quite late, and this might be a long shot, but could the gold skin have any connection with Sel? Elantrians have silver skin, is there any other Cosmere place/nationality known to have metallic skin? This may be irrelevant but it was a small thought.

This is fantastic! I used some of darebee's workout sheets on my mission, but I'd never seen a Mistborn one! That's great!
They forgot to add in a level IV for people burning pewter though

Welcome to the Shard! Roshar is epic for sure, I just started reading Name of the Wind so I can't say much on Kvothe yet, though it's pretty hard to beat Kaladin for me.
Anyway, hope you enjoy your stay, and do yourself a favor and stay away from the hemalurgically baked goods

The 17th Shard Forums:
SpoilerPeople from across the world pool together crack theories based on every word one man has said. Also, there's cookies.
Just joking, of course. I haven't even mentioned the RP side of the Shard.

Read them. They're released in order with no omissions. The only thing that seems like it could be missing at this point is the chapter epigraphs which will take no time at all to pick up. Read them and join the discussion!
This is what I'm leaning towards, basically because I want to be a part of the real-time theorizing going on. But it'll probably depend on how much time I can allot to the Shard when I'm back at school; if my courseload is as bad as I think it might be, I might have to not read the sample chapters just so I'm not as tempted to spend too much time on the Shard.
Also, @Ammanas, that is absolutely fantastic.

When your biggest moral/philosophical dilemma is whether to read the sample chapters for Oathbringer, or to wait for November for the full book.

If this is in the second half of SA, it would be after the Warbreaker sequel too for sure. Maybe in that they awaken more metal things? Kind of loose speculation, but I did feel like it was referring to Awakening, but maybe not necessarily Nightblood. Nightblood on Scadrial could do serious damage, I think it would be easier to investigate mysterious deaths than ask people about talking tools.

Most surprising plot twist: Warbreaker
SpoilerDenth all the way. I had no idea, I had to reread that scene a few times to really understand what was going on.
Favorite plot twist: WoA
SpoilerRuin editing all the prophecies, and tricking Vin into releasing him. It was just so brilliantly done, I didn't see it coming but could see the foreshadowing so well afterwards. And I was on vacation without the next book, so the cliffhangery ending after that horrible gut-punch was even stronger. That one just really got me from an emotional and an impressive writing standpoint.

Dreamer: I believe you have to purchase the anthology called "Games Creatures Play". I picked it up as a stand-alone in a humble bundle deal. There is also a preview for it in the above link.
Dragonsteel: You have to check it out from the BYU (Provo campus) library in person. I think. As far as I know it is not available online. Also, as far as I am aware, you cannot, in most areas, discuss the contents of Dragonsteel on this site. There are sample chapters from "the Liar of Partinel" which is related to Dragonsteel. Check the above link.

Probably Siah Amian (though I have no clue what this is from)
Would you rather be an Aes Sedai in Seanchan or a plantation Skaa during the reign of the First Ruler
It's from SA, Axies' interlude.
I'd rather be a skaa, at least then you're not collared and can still have a family, even if life sucks.
Would you rather be locked in a room with Egwene and Nynaeve complaining at you, or be locked in a room with Lift trying to eat all of your food?

Your avatar was what reminded me to put that Toph specifically as Melon Lord is also my favorite. ...And Toph in general. Decisions on favorites are hard.

Forgot to mention earlier, my favorites from Avatar: Last Airbender are Sokka and Zuko. Really everyone except Katara is my favorite in that show, but if I have to narrow it down...
