You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Rebecca replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
When you have a dream about you three-year-old cousin reading Mistborn. It was weird. When you think you see someone reading Oathbringer at a swimming pool, but they’re leaving when you notice, so you don’t get a chance to ask, or talk to them about it. When your Wi-Fi password is cosmere related. -

Sylphrena; It’s just such a pretty name in my opinion, and really creative.

When you accidentally spell protein like protien. When you think you hear someone say that their teacher keeps pairing them up with thaylens. When you spend all of your free time pondering the mysteries of the Cosmere. When your teacher askes you to write about if you could be friends with anyone, who would it be, and you write a giant paragraph about how Kaladin would be the coolest friend ever. When Christmas is a time to get people to buy books for you. -
Now that I have finally had time to read through the whole cycle, I have got some more stuff to say. First off, the cycle apparently doesn’t end for awhile. That’s my fault for only skimming earlier, and not actually checking the clock. So, maybe I’ll actually vote on someone. We’ll see. Second, I believe the elim in my house (if there is one) is Lemon. You all have made some really good points on why they seem suspicious. And Rae seems sincere to me. I haven’t really noticed anything elim-ish from Rae as of yet, and I don’t really expect to. I still don’t want to vote on Lemon yet though because it will just weaken my house further, and they made a good point. I think house one will just win in the night if we don’t get rid of their skaa this cycle. I guess who seems most suspicious from house one is Arinian. Mostly for the reasons you all stated (I’m not going to repeat them all here, because that would be boring). Also, I’m a Noble. Just thought you all might want to know, as some of you seem suspicious of me. And, I guess that’s it.

So, I don’t have time to read through all this right now, but I feel like I should post something. So, an elim has not yet been found in my house as you all now know, and I honestly have no idea who it could be (if there is an elim in my house). There are only two people from my house that could be skaa, and I don’t really think I should vote yet. For one, it’s the end of the cycle, and voting then doesn’t give the person being voted on much time to defend themselves. And I’d feel bad about that. Also, I don’t know who I would vote on. Again, I haven’t read through this cycle yet, so this post is just from what I know from the writeup (which I did read earlier). When I was skimming through, I saw a vote on Lemon. I’m kind of tempted to vote on them too, just because I really want to find and get rid of the elim in our house (if indeed there is one), but I won’t for the reasons mentioned above. And.... I guess that’s it. Mostly I just wanted to let you all know I’m still kind of here. And, of course, to get favor.

I guess Shqueeves just in case he’s an elim. And I’m going to agree that Road deserves another look at if Shqueeves is village.

I personally really don’t like Shallan either. She really gets on my nerves. I understand the wanting to completely skip over her whole chapters (especially when rereading), but she is an important part of the story, so I kind of have to read them anyway. I haven’t read Oathbringer yet, so maybe she’ll be better in that book, but at least for now, Shallan may be my least favorite character in the Stormlight Archive.

So, it looks like another skaa has been eliminated. That means there is probably at least two or three more; one in each of the houses that a skaa has not already been found in. There could be more though. Now might be a good time to reveal what houses we’re in, as well as the houses of the already eliminated skaa. This would narrow down the options to whoever is in the houses where a skaa has not already been eliminated. Then again, there is a good chance there is more than one skaa in each house, so it might not be a big help in the long term, but it would be pretty helpful right now.

So, it seems like people want a strategy/planning post from me, so I guess I’ll post one, though RP is definitely more up my alley. My strategy posts are kinda just random guesses, but this is what I’ve got. Megasif: So, I see where you guys are coming from, thinking he’s elim. But honestly, he seems more village to me, though I’m not super sure. Roadwalker: Probably who I’m most suspicious of being elim, but I’m only kind of suspicious. He reacted so rashly when voting for Alvron day 1, and Alv ended up being noble. That isn’t really very suspicious though, so again, I’m not sure. Brightness Radient, LivingLegend, and Sami: I’m pretty confident they’re all village too, mostly because a skaa has already been discovered (and killed) in their house. But there is the chance there is another elim in their house, even though they only had six house members. Darkness: Seems village to me too. He doesn’t seem to be faking his confusion or anything, but I could, of course, be wrong. The suspicion on him just doesn’t make sense to me. So, overall...I am not really very suspicious of anyone. At least not suspicious enough for me to feel like I should vote on them. I have no idea who is elim. I guess Road is who I am most suspicious of though, but not very much.

So. A tied lynch is obviously not a good idea. It just puts the voters in danger of being lynched themselves. Also, I’ve got some more RP for you guys. I don’t think it’s quite as bad as last time. —————————————— Mist. The mist was part of their world, yet it seemed so alien. It swirled around Cassandra, as if trying to grab her with intangible fingers. Her soft, red nightgown brushed her skin lightly as she stood on the balcony outside her bedroom, staring out into the night. Cassandra had been sleeping fitfully all night, and had finally decided to try easing her mind by standing out here. It wasn’t working very well. That uneasy feeling in her stomach hadn’t completely gone away since it had come. Since then, one skaa spy had been killed, so that was good news. But four nobles had also been killed. Hopefully this whole affair wouldn’t turn out the way she feared it would. No, Cassandra told herself forcefully, not hopefully. I have to do something. I have to make sure this all turns out the way I want it too. The way it needs to. The skaa must not succeed. Cassandra walked back inside, her mind suddenly clearer than it had been in awhile. She knew what she needed to do. She would stop worrying, and start acting. As Cassandra now climbed into her bed, she swiftly fell asleep. And this time, she slept soundly.

Cassandra’s fingers glided smoothly over the piano keys as she played. The music always cleared her mind, especially when she, herself played it. The peaceful medley sounded in her ears as thoughts swirled through her mind. The skaa were said to be infiltrating the noble houses. Could that really be true? Could there be skaa among her at this very moment? The very thought of it made her shiver. This sudden movement caused her fingers to slip, playing the incorrect key. No, Cassandra thought, don’t think about that. Instead, she let herself get caught up in the music, let it take away her worries for the time being. Cassandra closed her dark green eyes, swaying slightly to the music, her long brown hair brushing against her cheeks. She cleared all thoughts from her mind. She didn’t think about the skaa, or any of the trouble they could be causing. She simply lost herself. A time later, she opened her eyes, and let her fingers stop moving. How long had she been playing? Cassandra had been so distracted by the music, she’d lost track of time. She shook herself, and stood up, suddenly feeling very tired. And hungry. She always seemed to be hungry when she was fatigued. Cassandra contemplated retreating to her bedroom for some rest, but her hunger ultimately won. She started down to the kitchens, hoping she’d be able eat with that uneasy feeling in her stomach. Those stupid skaa and their schemes better not ruin her appetite. ————————————— Alright, sorry I’ve been inactive guys. I’ve been busy because of Thanksgiving and stuff, so I haven’t had much time. Which is also probably why my RP sucks. I have had time to skim over all the stuff going on though, so I think I’m mostly caught up. I may do a stragety/planning post later on, but not now. It’s late and I need sleep. So, again, sorry for being inactive. I’ll probably be busy tomorrow also, but we’ll see.

Alright, I’ve been convinced to join. This is my first LG, and I’ve only played two SE games previously; a MR and QF. So we’ll see how this goes. I’ll sign up as Cassandra Bane. Also, I might not be super active because of OB, and finals for the trimester, and homework, but I’ll try to participate as much as possible.

Tornado. There’s a chance I might make it to the eye of the storm, and that wouldn’t be too bad. At least it’d be better than a tsunami. Would you rather chew on a toenail or lick a sweaty armpit?

This is just like me with my dad! He recommended the books to me in the first place, and he likes to talk about them with me sometimes, but if I talk about it too much, he'll just, like, change the subject on me. Only difference is that my dad is into the cosmere -

When in Astronomy you learn about a planet that has a side always facing its sun, and a side always facing away, and it makes you think of Taldain (the planet White Sand takes place on). -
Welcome to the Shard! I suggest you read Edgedancer next. After that you could read Warbreaker, or just jump right into Oathbringer. Things in Warbreaker have relevance in Words of Radiance and Edgedancer, but it's not a big deal if your too excited for Oathbringer, and don't want to take time to read Warbreaker before the new SA book. Anyway, Happy Reading!
