  1. Are there any confirmed Shards that can try to Invest in me, to prove I'm what I say I am? (Edit: I realized that this would only confirm I'm a Shard, which would lessen the possibilities anyway, but that wouldn't clear me. I could try to Invest in someone, instead?) Reading Drake's posts, I've always had this bad gut feeling about him. There's just something off, and Rand also makes good arguments. I'll wait for now, though. Drake hasn't responded to the vote on him, yet.
  2. It's more useful to the village to know who has the Shards. If Odium does decide to try and kill me, well, that'll help the village anyway. I intend to move to-- and stay on-- Taldain, (Taldain's the one that lets you target anyone, correct?) because if someone does attack me, unless I forgot about some action or other that lets you target everyone, they'll be on Taldain and thus the suspect pool will get smaller.
  3. I'll just come out and say I'm Honor. There's no point in keeping it hidden. Hey, Odium, let's keep from repeating history for a couple of cycles
  4. Well, Hero shows up as a Scholar to my scan. Perhaps his role, like the Skybreakers', makes him show as something else? Alright, then. My assumption is likely correct. In which case, I will change my vote from Coop to Hero. I was willing to try and lynch you, and see how everything panned out. It seems like that won't work, though. You're thinking more mechanics-wise, while I'm thinking what would make sense. A politician can't logically be an escaped inmate, can they now? Also, something I just realized. Hero is likely the alignment change. I scanned them on Cycle 1, and now they don't seem to be a Scholar anymore, if they even were one at all. I'm willing to lynch them either way.
  5. The Undertaker... Where's John Cena? I was going to point out the irony, but that has been done twice already. It's sad to see how much discussion has stagnated. There are 9 people left, in total. Of these, at least one is an elim and at least one is a neutral. I want to start this game back up. What better way than some role reveals? I am a Private Detective, allied with the Kharbranth Citizens. I know the roles of Hero, Madagascar and Stink. They are a Scholar, Psychiatrist and Politician respectively. None of these roles, aside from possibly Scholar, would make sense for an Escaped Inmate to have. So, out of 9 people, 1 is a known Neutral (Jon), 1 is a known Citizen (me) and 2 others have a bigger chance of being Citizens (Mad and Stink.) We have, I assume, 2 elims left which gives us a possible pool of either 2/5 or 2/4 depending on Hero's alignment. This is all theoretical, mind. And so, to end this entirely-too-convoluted post, I will place a vote on Coop. It's up to the gods of luck and chance, and I've had a bad feeling about them the past cycle. I'd also like to point out that Lady of Chaos could have been killed by Ecth. @STINK @Madagascar @Herowannabe, care to respond to being Exposed™?
  6. Good point. Alright, I'll change my vote to Ecthelion. Oh, yeah, Coop.
  7. I see. And does this "disease" cause anything other than hiccuping? Like, eventual death, perhaps?
  8. I didn't think about that.. I'm sorry-- That'd just make it less fun for everyone involved, huh. I'll try to be more active, if I survive. Blink Wait, really? Huh. I mean, in my case it's just me forgetting/being lazy and never actually putting in an action, but.. huh. Is it a play, really? I'll just say it straight out to save you all the hassle of asking. I'm not Ruin. I've never taken an action this game so far. No Shard has Invested in me yet, unless Cultivation creating a PM that includes me counts. I'm about as pure as a newborn babe, except those are decidedly cuter and don't murder people online for fun
  9. I'll change my vote from Ecthelion to Coop. I asked Jon for his wincon to see how he, and more importantly everyone else, would respond. Coop seems to have decided that Jon is dangerous without even waiting for him to respond, and that makes some alarms ring in my head. We don't have a better lynch anyway.
  10. I agree with Hero, here. The next death(s) will help figure out where to go next, and Ecth hasn't even posted yet. They're just not helping, and there's no point. Plus, the chance of them being an elim is something we can't ignore. @Ecthelion III Heh, that's one theory down then. @Jondesu by the way. Could you care to share your wincon? You're essentially cleared as Neutral, so there's no point in hiding any more. Then again, you were never really trying to hide.
  11. Hmm.. It seems discussion has stagnated completely. Wait, hm.. @Elenion Was there only one alignment change?
  12. Does this hiccup disease even do anything?
  13. Their hiccuping is the Diagram, but in morse.
  14. A hiccuping disease...? What the heck? ...Are you all going to die from diaphragm spasms?
  15. I really don't have much to defend myself with, honestly, but that's mainly because I haven't done much at all. I never actually managed to get a single charge of Investiture You can go ahead and lynch me, though-- I haven't been able to pay any attention to this game anyway.
  16. ...What in Damnation just happened? Edit: Storms! We've been killing the wrong people. If the Inmates aren't.. Who are we even supposed to get rid of? What even is our wincon?
  17. Sigh. I probably won't be able to get a response from Walin, huh. I'll change my vote from Walin to Livinglegend, then. Vote manip/negation exists, it seems, so it's better to have a solid lynch than one the elims can easily turn in their favor.
  18. Yeah, nah, I'm not Ruin. I only got kicked off of Silverlight because Ruin destroyed it I'm on Roshar at the moment.
  19. @Walin Not sure why you're voting on me, exactly. That line of discussion has been exhausted, I feel. I'll be online until the cycle ends, I suppose, so if something better emerges I'll change my vote, but for now, Walin. Lynching you would not really give us much information, true, but I just want an explanation. At this point, I really don't think I can pass votes like those off as just "generating discussion", and you also evidently failed.
  20. @Elenion if it's a tie lynch, what happens? Coin flip or nothing?
  21. Nah, about 30 more minutes. Len extended it.
  22. @Fifth Scholar, I honestly think your arguments about Drought are far, far too tenuous. It almost comes off as trying to protect Mad. I don't think you have much of a basis for lynching Drought. Regarding joke votes, Stink never retracted his either. So? Speaking of, @STINK, care to chime in? You've been lurking for a while. Edit: Also, @Herowannabe, @_Stick_, anything you two want to say? @Steeldancer @Drake Marshall You two also just showed up in the big list of lurkers
  23. Alright, everyone! I actually did a thing! Here goes! I won't be able to get all the quotes necessary for this post, but I'll try to provide context when needed. I'm also on mobile, though, so I'll have to keep things short. I won't be addressing things others have said already unless it's important, or I just didn't notice they were mentioned. Some people will be left out, too-- I want to post this before rollover Starting with... Devotary: They've contributed to the game a fair bit, directly or indirectly, despite having a relatively low number of posts. At first, they assume immediately that Neutral factions/players would have conflicting wincons with the village, something that we know is untrue from the rules. Could mean they're a villager, because they would have likely been informed by their elim allies (I'm basing my assumptions on an ordinary elim faction, btw.) in the doc before making the post, if they were an elim. They then proceed to create essentially the rest of the discussion for the cycle by voting on me on admittedly good grounds. So far, village read. Can't be neutral, at the very least. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Jon: At the beginning, they poke and ask about Hero in particular. It's weird, but NAI. I'd like to know exactly why he did that. @Jondesu, care to elaborate? (Your post appeared just as I was finishing up. Dangit, man.) Jon then proceeds to point out DoS's assumption, and disagrees, but does not quote the rules. It could mean they're assuming what they're saying, or it could mean that they know better. So far, entirely NAI. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Steel: Steel goes along with Orlok's oddly terse votes without much actual reason to, but that's not indicative nor important. Steel is also awfully blunt, possibly honest. That makes me lean village on them, if slightly. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Kyne: Doesn't want to participate in a D1 lynch. Understandable, considering how divided the community in general is about these. However, the fact that they acknowledge that the lynch is the best means we have of gathering information right now, and actually not advocating against it, makes me lean village on them. A commendable, if futile, attempt to make the game more fun for everyone. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Livinglegend: Neutral, possibly. The way they worded it could also mean they're village, but why not say it straight-out in that case? @livinglegend I'd appreciate it if you could go into more detail regarding your win con. More importantly, are you, in fact, Neutral? Either way, if telling the truth, could be a valuable asset to both sides. I'd like to ask you to help the village, out here in the open. I can't exactly ensure your survival-- I honestly can't ensure mine-- but you have a better chance of winning with the village than with the elims, probably. If you're even telling the truth. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Stick: Seems to be trying to push the idea of an elim converter faction. As Orlok pointed out, they seem to be trying to garner suspicion on me without actually comitting to the lynch. Distancing themselves from it, perhaps. Not something I would see a villager doing. If an elim, could mean that there's at the very least one other elim trying to lynch me. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Coop: Trusts Hero immediately, or seems to. Also seems to imply they roleclaimed to him, but that's very likely me reading too deep into his word choices. Not sure, so far. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Aman: At first, he theorizes about the game mechanics. Mostly NAI, but seems to just be filler. Considering the rest of this post, it probably is. He then proceeds to point out Kyne's "tidiness", which feels like a very moot point. Then talks about Steel being very blunt, and retracts his suspicion afterwards. Essentially just one big post of filler. He seems to kick into gear when DoS presents me as a lynch target. Reorienting himself, he commits fully, which could mean multiple things. Leaning elim, right now. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Mad: Orlok mentioned everything I would have, with one exception. They are keeping their vote on me, even after I responded to their inquiry. They might not have seen my response, but at least they could explain why they still want to lynch me. I'd even accept agreeing with Aman, at this point Having tired my fingers out by typing this out on mobile, I'll vote on Madagascar, because they're both my (second) highest suspicion right now and the most likely lynch subject aside from me, right now. With that, I bid you all adieu for the night. (This is a lie. I'll be lurking. Watch out. ) Edit: If someone finds any typos, please point them out to me. I'm tired of reading my own post...
  24. I'll vote for Straw. I've expressed my suspicion of them earlier, so I'm fine with killing them. I'd like my theory to be confirmed or proven wrong, either one.
