  1. What foot type do you have? Which is your favorite finger? What color is your toothbrush? How many languages do you speak? Would you rather be spiderman or a lurched with the abrasion surge? Radiant or misting? Full Radiant(all the surges) or Lerasium Mistborn? In the event of the man eating rabbit apocalypse, which era 1 misting would you want as your sidekick? Aluminum gnat or Duralumin gnat? Favorite color? Hogwarts house? Zodiac? Mbti? Favorite Mistborn book? Do you have Abs?
  2. Meanwhile, the race finishes, with Krabs in the lead, taking his place as ruler if the Cosmere.
  3. Diving, Krabs dodged the Model T-Ford and it crashed into Rayse, fueling a new grudge.
  4. Xenacious, Adonalsium sprinted ahead, forgetting how long the race was. (I'm not sure Xenacious is a real word, I looked up X words and found this on the Merriam-Webster's site. It isn't anywhere else.)
  5. Until the race began, Adonalsium had no fear of losing.
  6. What we need to do is create a keyboard or font that creates this for us. That way we can write in Alethi everywhere online. Perhaps use it to scan out crowds for Cosmere-Awares and Sharders
  7. Renarin was opted to ref Krab's and Adonalsium's foot race for control of the cosmere
  8. Well if every person has their own board, and isn't crammed onto the plains the whole time(and the plains are cleared occasionally) I feel we could make it a bigger game than most though it would probably require at least 3 princes. So 3-7 players? Possibly 8?
  9. I agree with what you have said for the most part, though I really like the idea of a parshendi player, as playing as 'the enemy' has always seemed fun in games like these. What if we made it so that if nobody chose to play Parshendi, then it proceeded as you wish, if somebody wants to play Parshendi, those few rules pertaining to that come into effect and the game now has a sentient opponent, which could change the playstyle of both armies and make the game unpredictable, unlike the quite predictable and consistent neutral player. Both would be fun, Both would work if that option is worked into the game.
  10. A couple of other things: Perhaps the highstorms can benefit the Parshendi player in some way, allowing him to change his unit types. This would be good for him because he wouldn't have teammates to ally/trade with I like this idea, that the players 'share' the plains map, but each have their own small game going on on their own boards. This is similar to the base idea for deck building games, that when you buy a card it is discarded but added to your own personal deck to be used later. So the Highprinces all play their own political game while simultaneously playing against the Parshendi player, who has control of that side of the game and the Shattered plains. I don't think that battles should be carried out like Chess or Risk. That would make things incredibly boring for the Parshendi player, though the highprinces have the other half to entertain them. The Parshendi should also be able to attack the warcamps themselves so as to have a chance for victory. I agree with your ideas for turns, but I still can't think of a good method for the battles. In also not sure I agree with the idea of Bridges, it fits the story, but adds unnecessary complications.
  11. Perhaps every plateau has a coordinates pair that can be chosen with dice, so a 6 sided letter die and number die makes for 36 combos, from a1 to f6, then once per turn or round, a pupating chasmfiend shows up at those coordinates(so a gemheart goes there from the bank) One question we need to find an answer to is if turns will be a single movement or action, or if they will be huge/long sequences of actions like Risk. Personally I think that turns should be kinda short, similar to settlers where you get resources and do what you can, but movement is slow and you don't have enough stuff per turn for huge actions. I think that would be better for battles rather than the kinda one sided battles of Risk(Attacker rolls 3 dice, defender rolls 2, making battles not drawn out at all) So: How long will turns be? How will battles be carried out?
  12. You could also mix all these ideas. I've played games like Scotland yard where one person is X and the others try to find him. Instead, one person is the mega-army of Parshendi vs up to ten highprinces. The Highprinces are trying to work together to kill the Parshendi but are competing for placement, the Parshendi is trying to kill all the Alethi. The game ends when either Parshendi or Alethi are dead. The if the highprinces, the one with the most gemhearts(currency) wins first and so on. Whichever Highprinces the Parshendi have killed are ranked below him. So say that 4 highprinces are playing, 2 die, but the Alethi win. The placement would be 1: richest Alethi, 2: other surviving Alethi, 3: Parshendi, 4: richer of the dead Alethi, 5: poor dead Alethi

    Nicrosil

Ok. So my theory to get breaths would likely not work, but is there any other way we currently know to change between investiture? If there is, that would break the location issues with AonDor and stormlight. Also, what about giving breaths to non Nalthians? We have seen Hoid with breath, but can others get it? And can they awaken? We know that endowments innate investiture is the breaths, so would giving them breath rewrite sDNA like lerasium or just not work? Possibly Hoid can use other innate investiture because his innate investiture is from adonalsium himself.

    Nicrosil

Ok, I see what you are saying. Thanks. When I said "heal," that is what I meant, the spren filling the hole. So do you think it is possible to have both spike and Spren? And if Nicrosil can store stormlight, couldn't a radiant use nicrosil to hold as much stormlight as they wanted or needed? Like, enough to fall/fly to another planet and hold it there? If so, that would overcome the problem with stormlight only being available where there are highstorms.

    Nicrosil

I have another question/idea about nicrosil. What if someone from Nalthis his were to worldhop around, getting both a spike granting feruchemical nicrosil and a spren or honorblade. Could this being breath Stormlight, store it as investiture, and then tap it as breath? We know that stormlight can fuel a returned, but could it actually be converted to breath through this method? Also, if someone had a broken spirit web because of a spike, and a spren to heal the spirit web, how would that affect the spike or spren?
  16. Thanks! Ice got a couple of questions, 1: how do I get into sanderson elimination? And how ok is it to share information on here? (Name, age, eye color, etc) By the way, my eyes are blue
  17. Hello there, my name is Brandon S (Cool, Right?) TheBMSRanger is my account name. I have been a lurker on the 17th shard since the beginning of summer, a little while after I discovered the cosmere. I have officially caught up with all the published books and am ready to join the shard officially. A little about me: I am a bit of a nerd, an INTP, Ravenclaw Capricorn, and a big reader. I discovered the cosmere on my own after having Steelheart suggested to me and have been a fanatic since. I am currently striving to convert all my friends to sandersonism but have only had good progress with one. I'm not sure what else to say and I'm glad to join the forums, hopefully I'lll be accepted and become a part of the fun, thanks.
