    I love reading (anything from epic fantasy to gothic horror to sociology), writing, musicals, crochet, The Owl House, Hollow Knight, The Magnus Archives, and The Locked Tomb.     *sigh*

    How many musicals are there about deformed guys living in monumental Paris architecture, and do I have to become obsessed with all of them?

    Also, why are the two I'm aware of so similar?

    I mean, honestly.

    In the original movies the deformed guys are even played by the same actor. (I highly recommend the 1925 Phantom of the Opera, by the way.)

    (And technically that's not the original Phantom movie, but the 1916 one has been lost, so... *shrug*)
