hopping on really quick to let everyone know that I have been busy the last couple days, but I will get on and read everything tomorrow and make a post.
-
I am going to play as my character from LG35, Altea Meza. I haven't actually read the Stormlight Archive yet. [borrowing the books from @A Joe in the Bush this week aha] So I will be asking questions about the world in-character, as I am using this specific character as a world hopper. Hey @BrightnessRadiant, you wanna rp with me? xD
-
I have posted sporadically, but life has been..stressful lately. I have kind of fallen out of interacting with many things lately. I am going to try and read through the last few cycles again and try to get caught up, but I may end up doing less of analysis now since I fell out so much. I am at least going to read this cycle and possibly vote on someone, but no guarantees. Hah, @A Joe in the Bush, think you could keep me on track with checking SE daily?

I wasnt actually on at all last cycle. Been going through some stuff this week and havent really been up to talking to people or doing anything in general. I'll try to be more active this next cycle, but no gurantees on this cycle. Right now is a really hard time for me and my family.

Haha, I was just joking around with you, particularly because we were elim buddies in my last game. I can explain more if we have pms N2, but I just wanted to talk to you in private. I am not too suspicious of you right now. Mm, may I inquire what it is that has made you suspicious of me? Other than my votes D1 and now, I mean. The reason I participated in the last minute vote switch is because I had already been slightly suspicious of Jondesu, myself, and since everyone else was switching I went along with it. Neutrally amusement, I suppose you could say. As for my vote today, I am still highly suspicious of Randuir, but I guess most others are not finding merit in that regard. I am beginning to lose my own suspicion, as well, due to certain events. Seeing as I don’t want my vote to be useless, I will retract it from Randuir again.

Mm, I am still suspicious of Randuir, and think I will follow through with my original idea from D1. I will try and get some more analysis posted before the cycle ends, but things are a bit stressful atm so no promises. May not be super active this cycle, as the house is a bit chaotic atm.

I am happy that this was the game that got me back into playing mafia. I'm sorry that I wasn't very active while I was alive, I just wasn't sure how to go about pretending to be a villager since it had been awhile since I'd played any mafia-style games. I loved reading all of your write-ups, and all the rp of everyone as a whole--you are all so creative! I hope to participate in any future games that you run, Hero. c:

Ahh, I did miss that question day 1. Hmm, I have been playing mafia games off and on for the past..six years maybe? I've played in at actual parties and online at town of salem. Now that I think about it more, I was a part of and helped set up mafia-style forum around four years ago. Not entirely certain how I forgot that, actually.. Anyway, I played a couple games on that for a few months before it died out. When I played the MR game on it, that was actually the first time in around 7 months that I had played any mafia games. I thinl that was what you were asking, haha. Sorry if I misunderstood the question. XD

//last post before I actually sleep whoops// Ahh, I can see why you took it as such. While I may have played a lot of mafia-type games over the years, this is one of my first experiences doing such in a forum setting. I am not new to mafia, but I am new to forum-mafia, hence why I was saying it is only my second game. Like I said, this is the first time in years that I've needed to actually verbalize my suspicions and other ideas while playing. I am much more used to remaining quiet and voting based on gut reactions. (at least as village or neutral)

I did see you call me out earlier, but I didn't react to it because of everything else that was happening in thread, lol. As far as the newbie card, how do you figure I am playing it? I pulled that in my first game here because no one but Joe really knew me, so I figured it would be safe. I wouldnt pull the same stunt twice as an elim. The best I can guess that you are reading is my talk about giving analysis? If that is the case, it has been a long time since I had to type out all my thoughts about players, so I wasnt sure how well it would turn out when I tried to again. That's the only thing I think might have been misread as playing the newboe card, but if there is something else, feel free to ask me. I am perfectly happy to explain and answer any suspicions you may have. Although I am going to go to sleep now, so I wont be on for a few hours

Mm, that did not go as I was hoping, heh. It might have been better to let it go with a tie, maybe.

I am down for lynching Jondesu, it sounds like a reasonable enough idea.

Whatever we do, we should decide soon. Since this turns end is rapidly approaching. So, do we want to attempt and lynch Jondesu instead? That works for me, as I've had a suspicious feeling towards Jondesu. I don't know why, but I just found this to be ridiculously hilarious, my goodness.

Hm..that is also true. I don't want to leave the vote at a tie, since then one of them will die at random and the thought of that annoys me for some reason.

That's assuming everyone gets on board of lynching Jondesu, tho. Within the next 10 minutes.

Even if it wouldn't necessarily generate the most information, should we vote him out on the proposed high chance of him being an elim? If he is, that would be good for the town, right? //edit// This is also ignoring the possible vote manipulations, since aren't those possible in this game?

(4) randuir: Straw, Yitzi2, The Flash, Jondesu, (4) Yitzi2: The Mighty Lopen, Amanuensis, Seonid, BrightnessRadiant, (4) Straw: STINK, Araris Valerian, Elenion, asterion137, (1) A Joe in the Bush: randuir, (1) Jondesu: Arraenae, (1) Shqueeves: Paranoid King, So now we have a three-way tie. If no more vote changes happen before 2 am, randuir, yitzi, or straw will die at a random choice. Hm. Straw just seems to be causing mischief, and I don't have a real read on yitzi.

IIRC? And I don't plan on voting on them until they get back and can be more active, since that would be highly rude, haha. I agree that they haven't really done anything that makes it obvious, I am just being paranoid. xD Ahh, ok. Mm, so there is a possibility for a tie, or have two people vote for either Straw or Yitzi in the next 30 minutes. Hah, voting without knowing who is good is hard. xD Being an elim my first game was easier in that aspect. I do definitely prefer being able to analyze things, though. It's a lot of fun, haha.

lol, thank you both. xD A As for why I am suspicious of them, they just seemed overly friendly in their two posts, I guess? I don't know, I am just having a lot of gut-reactions to a lot of people, sorry. x'D If I remember correctly, there was someone else who found Shqueeves to be a bit suspicious, so that may also be influencing my own suspicions. I wish there was more to go on to decide whether or not to vote on someone. At this point, the only viable options are Randuir, Yitzi, and Straw. I need to go look back and see what a tie results in, if anything useful, hah.

I may slightly be of the mind-set of 'suspicious until proven trustworthy, and still suspicious after that', lol. There are very few players that I am not at least a bit suspicious of so far. Randuir, Jondesu, and Shqueeves are the three I am most suspicious of right now. I may end up voting on one of the leading players within the next hour, but that would require me to figure out the current vote tally, and I don't know if I can manage such a feat in sleeplessness, haha. I think I am just going to reread the thread again and add more to my notes spreadsheet, and see if I can come up with anything useful to share.

What started my suspicion was his vehemently going after Joe, but it is mainly a gut read if I am to be honest. I don't know exactly what it is, I just get a strong sense that he is an elim, or possibly another chaotically-oriented neutral. He just seems off to me, haha, but I am an overly cautious and paranoid person, so it could totally just be that. xD //@A Joe in the Bush can confirm that. :p//

lol, I still find randuir to be the most suspicious, but I don't want to vote for him again since there have been some fairly good counter arguments, and I am weary of mis-lynching him, should my gut-reaction be incorrect as it sounds like it would be.
