  1. haha, fair enough. I will try and post more analysis in my rp now, to try and help with your reads. xD I am off to try and get some sleep now, though. I'll try and get on tomorrow after I wake up, but I won't be super active as I need to figure out job stuff, student stuff, and new living arrangement stuff. So yea, tomorrow is just going to be slightly busy for me I will try and get on before the end of the cycle, but I can't guarantee it. I will certainly try to remember to check the thread tomorrow morning before I start my day.
  2. R00d Mm, sorry. I am going for more staying in-character throughout my games now, as that is the way I have found easier for me to actually be able to post. Me posting in the mind of my character is the only reason I have been able to be as active as I am this game. I may be an analytical person, but I find it difficult to put my analysis into words and into the thread. Other than that, I haven't really had much to say in terms of analyzing since I don't have enough to go on quite yet. Or more, not enough to feel comfortable enough to post my thoughts in a more in-depth manner. Plus, as I stated before, I am going for a roleplay approach as opposed to an analytical approach like you have. As for why I sent a pm to Asterion and not Meta, Meta intimidates me, lol. I didn't want to send out a bunch of pms, so I was selective in those I did pm. There isn't any particular reason that I chose to pm Asterion over Meta, that's just how I decided to do it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  3. Only have a bit of time to post right now, since I am working on getting caught up on schoolwork still, ugh. Altea looked around at the students and creatures milling about in the meeting place. 'This is...disconcerting.' She thought to herself, staying in the outskirts of the crowd, watching how everyone interacted with each other instead of interacting, herself. She looks at the girl she had spoken with previously-Michelle. She seemed to be calling for the removal of another student--someone named Logan, if she remembered correctly. Another student called for the removal of the robot A.N.W.I.R., and she heard the sound of quiet agreements from her fellow students. The Gunnerkrigg were not the only ones calling for the removal of their peers--the Gillette had discord among their members, as well. 'This meeting seems chaotic, but might it prove useful, yet? The infiltrators from the Woods may try and contact their own in the night. Perhaps I shall keep an eye open tonight?' She mused to herself internally, continuing to watch the proceedings around her. She came to a decision and walks quietly over to someone, "Sir Young, I believe Locke Tekiel is on the right track. I have noticed suspicious behaviour from the robot called A.N.W.I.R. lately, and believe he may be an infiltrator from the Woods. After Medium Small Large began proclaiming his desire for Medium-ship, A.N.W.I.R. proclaimed a counter desire for the same honour. His reasoning behind this, was due to him finding it boring for only one student to be campaigning with no competition. The way he has gone about talking has left a hollow sense of danger chewing in the depths of my stomach, and I believe it would be wise to set in motion the deconstruction of the aforementioned robot, for fear of him being a Woods member in disguise. While I am all for peace between us, these infiltrators eradicated one of my fellow students through the cloak of night, and that is unacceptable." After she finished her proclamation, Altea went back to silently observe the proceedings once again. [feel free to talk to Altea, I may just be slow to replying. I'd love a bit of rp. @BrightnessRadiant, sorry that I didn't respond last night. :c I didn't get on again until this morning, and didn't know until then that the night cycle's are only one day long.] I have had a gut elim read on Drake Marshal since fairly early in the first cycle, and his posts have only made my suspicion grow for him. The way he went about his ploy to become Medium rubbed me the wrong way, and my suspicion only grew from there. Reading Orlok's post voicing his suspicions has only made me feel more sure of my own suspicions, and pm interactions has further increased my surety. I believe Drake is an Eliminator, and I would be very happy if we Courts-men could all come together and get him lynched today.
  4. @Aonar Faileas "Sir Young, how long until the next morning arrives? I am a lover of the night, but in these times laced with suspicion, it would be nice to move about in the day, instead." Altea stared at Young, waiting expectantly for his answer. [just so it is clear, would it be possible for us to get a count-down to the end of the Night Cycle, please?]
  5. //@BrightnessRadiant, this is what Altea looks like, for the record. What does Michelle look like? And for that matter, @A Budgie, what does Budgie look like?// Altea's eyes wander over to where two students were talking, in a relative term. It seemed like one of them was scribbling something on her papers, and this piqued Altea's curiosity. She gracefully rises from her perch and quietly makes her way over to the pair. Coming to stop in front of them, she glances down to see that the aforementioned student was drawing, "Your drawings are very good." She speaks up quietly, addressing the artist. She dips her head to the other student in greeting, as well. "Is there a reason relating to finding the infiltrators to your drawing, or are you merely attempting to calm your thoughts at the stressful situation about us?"
  6. And now, for some roleplaying. Altea sat cross-legged at a table, watching the students mill about her in confusion. 'Infiltrators from the Forest are trying to kill us...We need to flush them out and...eliminate them...before they can destroy us all from within.' She is lost in thought, looking closely at those around her. She looks at the one called Anwir, 'They have been quite vocal thus far...Some of their statements have sounded...strange...I will have to keep a close eye on them, should they prove to be any more suspicious than now.' She then shifts her amber eyes onto the one known as Tarek. 'That student has also been rather vocal. They seem to have some good ideas, and I am leaning towards trusting them. I shall continue to be weary of trusting anyone, however. After all, those who seem the most trustworthy are often the ones you need look out for most.' She then turns to look at their new Medium, the one known as Small Large. 'That one is vocal, as well. They seem quite interested in gaining the power to contact the Forest Dwellers, which is relatively suspicious on its own. However, they just seem to be the type to want power, regardless. Still, best to be weary.' She turns to stare at the students near her, "What are your thoughts on our situation? Surely it would be best to weed out the Dwellers of the Forest that are in our midst and eliminate them, no? Has anyone stood out to you as suspicious?" [anyone can feel free to respond to lovely little Altea, but be warned that she is rather quiet. Also, I am going to do my best to remain in character from now on in all my posts. It will be more fun that way. :)]
  7. I have sent a pm to Asterion, but not Meta. Hopefully something will come of it, soon. I am going to try and be more active now, as I am growing more comfortable in playing, haha. I'm curious to see who Stink chooses as protector. @STINK, any ideas on who you want yet?
  8. Oooh, exciting. That sounds fun, haha. Good to know.
  9. Hm...I suppose I should post again before the cycle ends. I don't really see the merit in lynching someone this cycle, because we really don't have anything to go on right now. It doesn't seem like there will be a huge detriment if we don't have a lynch today, so I would hold off. Plus, it feels a bit wrong to me to lynch someone for not posting on day one. Things could have come up, and a contribution crusade this early feels a bit excessive, in my opinion. @Aonar Faileas, How does voting work in this game? As in, if there is only one vote, will the person voted on still be lynched? Also, how do ties work? I think we should hold off on voting until we have more time for discussion, therefore more time to reveal any suspicious activities. Holding off on a contribution crusade also appeals to me. Missing the first day cycle obviously isn't a good sign, but again, things can come up where people can't get on. If there have been no posts by Day 2, then that is another thing since that gives more ample time to get on and make at least one post. Overall, I think we should just hold off on voting this cycle, so @Ecthelion III, if you could be so kind as to remove your vote from Shquueves it would be much appreciated. That being said, @A Budgie, @Clanky. You two have only posted once, and didn't mention being otherwise preoccupied iirc. Where are you two? Come join us in the court! @Metacognition, @Shqueeves, @asterion137; Where are you three? I know Drought said they wouldn't be active until cycle two, but I don't remember any such thing said by you three? We miss you, and would love it if you could join us. Or at least check in and let us know that you are alright. I am worried about your health, and just want to check and make sure you are all okay. <3 Now that all that is done, I won't be here for the end of this cycle or the beginning of the next cycle. I am leaving for a Ride Along in two hours, and will be barred from my phone until I am done with it. I will check in once I get back on my computer afterwards, though.
  10. Wow. Just...wow. A lot seems to have happened while I was sleeping. I am glad that you have rescinded your test plan @STINK. I am looking forward to the mechanics of this game, and would find it absolutely dreadful for it to end so abruptly. At least it seemed like you were having fun, albeit a bit worrying at first. I still stand by my vote for you to become Medium, though, even if you have shaken my faith in you a bit. >.> I won't be very active for a bit today, because I really need to work on getting caught up on my classes, so this may be my only post for awhile. I must say, reading the conversations over in the Forest is highly amusing, and I really like the atmosphere of this game so far, lol. I'll work on posting rp and analysis later when I have more time, and after I have read more of Gunnrkrigg Court. (I'm only on Chapter 7 right now rip)
  11. Oh my goodness, I just now got your name Stink. xD I will place my vote for medium on STINK, as I am willing to give him a chance. I will be trying to do a lot of analysis and rp this game (mainly rp, because yes), but I need to read at least some of Gunnerkrigg Court before I would feel comfortable posting rp. I'll give analysis as I have time to come up with some, haha. I just wanted to post my first little thing to place my medium vote and let it be known that I am alive.
  12. I will be signing up as Altea Meza--mainly because this sounds super interesting and fun, and partially because Joe told me I should. I look forward to this game, and I will do my best to be more active than I have been in the last games I have played, but I am not a very sociable person, so I apologize. x3
  13. lol, that parody is amazing, I love it. xD No need to apologize~ I shall also place one final vote on The Flash.
  14. Lol, yea. Like Stick said, I am neutral. I claimed Convict's Ward a cycle or so ago.
  15. I was a Shardbearer with a Shardplate. I don't know who would attack me, because the only person I have talked to other than in-forum is Joe via PM. I am going to hold off voting on anyone for now, because I am really, really tired. I will try and get on tomorrow to read, but I have to work and have a bunch of schoolwork I have to do, heh.
  16. Mm, I agree that this sounds reasonable. I am all for a lynch on HH, and will withdrawal my vote on Orlok now.
  17. I am striving for a Neutral victory in this game, so I will also be voting for Orlok, because he isn't playing in a way that is favouring said neutral victory. If he isn't an actual Son of Honour, it seems incredibly likely that he is at least helping them in some way. I would much rather lynch anyone who isn't striving for an unaligned victory between the two public factions. I think we should wait longer to lynch Jondesu, like Alvron was talking about. We shouldn't be lynching only Parshendi players--even if we have reason to believe they are evil. As I said, I would much prefer a victory for both the Alethi and Parshendi. After all, this is supposed to be a Peace Treaty.
  18. Well I mean, I would prefer my 'father' not dying, but I understand the need for it. So, I will be placing my vote on Joe, as well. I am the secret Ward of Joe, and I would prefer to not die, this is true. Can't post much more now, since I am still at work, buttt. I understand the reason behind me needing to reveal myself, finally.
  19. Altea looks up as a person approaches her, her eyes narrowing in suspicion and caution. While this was supposed to be some sort of 'peace' mission, there had already been signs of saboteurs, so she was especially on-edge. She waits silently for the person to speak, and is surprised when a letter is handed to her. Glancing at the person, she accepts the letter carefully and begins to unfold it, reading the contents within. "Brightness Altea Meza, Brightness Sani Joslin would like the pleasure of your company for lunch today, to discuss a mutual friend by the name of Jack Tormander. If you are inclined to learn more of the current situation, please come dine with her at her shop. The bearer of this note can direct you there. Thank you for your time." Altea looks back at the note-bringer with a slightly raised brow, still suspicious. She folds the letter back up neatly and gestures to the bringer of the note to lead the way, remaining silent as she waited. @A Joe in the Bush, that is the best I have atm, I apologize, dearest. I also won't be super active for the next 10 hours or so, because I am going to be heading to work in about an hour and won't be getting home until at least twelve hours. I am hoping to hop on for a bit during my lunch break, but that may not be able to happen. As for what @StrikerEZ said, I think we should follow up on the Drake Marshall angle if Len turns out to be a Voidbringer, after all.
  20. Well, I finished reading D1 as the cycle ended, so that sucks. Hopefully, I can manage to be more active here on out. I will be placing a vote on Elenion, as well. If he is a Voidbringer as claimed, then that gets the Alethi one step closer to winning--preferably by getting rid of all the secret factions. I'm all about bringing peace between the public factions, lol. -- Altea Meza looked around those she was travelling with. 'What in the world is this place?' She shook her head, looking around again. She made her way to one of the other members in her faction, hoping to listen in on conversations being had in an attempt to get a better grasp of the world she had fallen into. [@BrightnessRadiant or @A Joe in the Bush, either of you wanna help a poor lost soul? :p]
