Long Game 42: Master of the House

Haha. Yes. But, I wasn't really actively trying to win that one. I mean, this is the first game that I was super invested in. XD- 352 replies

I would also like to vote for Araris~ You had a noble plan for how you wanted the game to end. I also want to apologize to @Jondesu. Before the final night cycle, I was game for putting in a kill order on Fifth. Granted, this plan included Orlok placing a kill on you and having him and I be the last standing players. But when that plan didn't work, I talked to Orlok about who we should kill on the final night cycle and he said that Fifth had helped him through the game, so I went along with that. Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun this game. This is the first SE game that I've played in that I put forth such an effort to actually win. I definitely enjoyed it, and will try to keep up my motivation for any future games I end up playing in. ^^- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
xxGaea replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Fifth Scholar, I can certainly understand your reasoning, there. Not gonna lie, the reason I resorted to such tactics is because I have been trying to get Mafia killed the last, two night, I believe? Lol, growing weary of it. However, I would be willing to try a lynch on Sart, should everyone be in more favour of deciding the victor of my house by night. While Sart may not have been an active member in the alliance, I still dislike being betrayed. There should be honour among thieves, in my opinion--especially in a game where betrayal is the norm. I do not like being stabbed in the back by an ally that was made at the beginning of the game.- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
xxGaea replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Hello, my fellow SE's. It has been awhile since I've posted anything in thread, but I thought I should put my thoughts here now. I have worked incredible hard this game, and really want to win. It's been awhile since I last played in an SE game, because I've never really had the energy to make an actual effort into winning. That has changed this game. I've been working with other players to kill my house mates, while making my house members believe I was working with them on an 'alternate' win, where only we remained alive. All this being said, I ask you now to please help me cinch my victory, by voting for Mafia.- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
xxGaea replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So, I feel like it would be much more productive if we could switch to having longer days and shorter nights. There really isn't anything to discuss during the night, and it just seems like having more time to discuss lynch targets would be more beneficial. @A Joe in the Bush and @Elbereth, would such a change be possible if enough people agree?- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
xxGaea replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I very much enjoyed that write-up @A Joe in the Bush. Your writing always makes me smile. Altea lounged in an armchair, still wearing her gown from before. She sighs, shaking her head as she re-reads the letter. "What folly." She scoffs, before folding the letter up again and rising from the chair to pace. As there aren't any eliminators, specifically, I am not really sure what to talk about in-thread other than roleplaying. The issue with roleplaying, though, is that no one seems interested in it at the moment.- 352 replies

I am going to continue staying out if this day one lynch, but wanted to pop in one more time. Since this cycle ends in seven hours, it is unlikely that I will be able to get back on again. So I will likely see you all during night one.- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
xxGaea replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Straw While that is true, yes, I still think actually building the alliances D1 is better. I dunno, I just kinda wanna take advantage on the 'no one has to die' D1, since that isn't always a possibility without consequences.- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
xxGaea replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
In regards of lynching, I really don't see much of a point in a D1 lynch. We don't have an elim team in this game, so there isn't the fear of that. Alliances are just going to start being formed today, so it seems unnecessary to lynch anyone today. You can't vote on those in your own house, and those are the only ones needed for us to win. D1 should be saved for building alliances, not killing players needlessly.- 352 replies

Long Game 42: Master of the House
xxGaea replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well then. A lot has happened since the game started this morning. I wish I could have joined in on the fun sooner, but I had to go to work first. While the kandra idea seems interesting, it seems rather convoluted and doesn't seem very achievable. While it could be fun to exploit such a mechanic, it just seems like it is too difficult to achieve. -- Altea gazed at those around her, contemplating her course of actions. There were those who were calling for peace; a bloodless resolution for the murder that had taken place. She scowled slightly, narrowing her eyes in veiled disgust. She could not let the murderer go free, with no repercussion for their betrayal. She would hunt them down herself, alone if she had to. Peace, while a fine prospect in theory, hardly has room in the world around them. Peace was for the idealistic youths who had yet to experience the cold truths of the world, or those who were too blind to see it for what it was. She continued to listen in silence, biding her time as she collected data.- 352 replies

//not gonna quote it all because that was lots of rp lol// Altea watched the young woman who had confronted her before storm off after three others once it had begun to rain. 'Alright...' She thought to herself, uncertain on what to think of the scene unfolding around her. She decided that she would not be getting involved in such a seemingly meaningless fight between powerful beings. Shaking her head in befuddlement, she made her way away from the hospital and back towards the center of the city, staying close to the buildings. She noticed an encroaching darkness and cautiously made her way into it, curiosity begging her to investigate the strange occurrence, so she may find the reasons behind it. I do not know the alignment of the one I need to kill, no. I can choose to scan one player each cycle, but I only get results if it is my target. If it isn't the person I am looking for, I don't get any information, unfortunately. So to sum it up, I need to find my target via my 'target'-scan that I can use. Yes, all I know about my target is that they are a fellow epic. Altea jolted slightly when a voice spoke up, "Ah.." she mumbled, searching to locate the owner of the voice. She stood up to her full 5'4" and made her way cautiously around the corner, to face the one that confronted her. "Hello. No, I have no reason to hide. I am merely scoping out the playing field, as things appear to be quite hectic." Her voice was quiet, but it held an odd sense of presence. [for anyone who cares, Altea has long black hair and cat-like amber eyes]

Welp. I didn't plan on claiming unnecessarily, but since my second life has been taken... *glares at whoever attacked me* I am a neutral role called "Balelight's Daughter". My win-con doesn't go against the 'elims' or the 'village', since I am basically an executioner role. I need to find and kill my epic target before the game ends, as well as survive, in order to win. I had a second-life ability that was single use, so thank you for ruining that. Asides from that, I can also roleblock epics and scan players to find my target. After I find my target, I have a single-use kill that I can make using my light epic powers. Sooo, if my target could just let me know who they are so I can kill you, that would be great... Now that that is out of the way, I will play into the rp. Altea made her way to the hospital, having noticed all the excitement going on in the area. She ducks behind a corner when she sees a young woman walking out of the hospital doors. 'What is this world? Everything seems so strange here..' [@Drake Marshall] I have a job interview in a few hours, so I won't be the most active today.

Haha, that makes sense. xD I figured it might be something similar to that, when I saw that both of you were signed up. We should do that rp together this game, since we were so rudely killed before we could before.

Altea looked out from around the corner of a building, watching all the seemingly insane people mill about her. 'What is this place? I've never been to a world as...crazy...as this one. That world with the rebellion was much simpler than this. At least I knew what was going on, somewhat. It is entirely absurd in this place. What is this talk I hear of special items, anyway? That's not something I have encountered before. Maybe I should go talk to some of the locals, to try and get some insight on this world...' Altea ran an internal monologue as she looks around for someone to speak to. Someone who looked less crazy than everyone else. She looks around, before carefully making her way into the..park..? She thought it might be a park, but there was a giant lake of lava in the center that was throwing her. 'Why would there be a lake of lava in such a public place..?' She mused to herself, carefully and quietly walking towards the giant pool of fiery death. [I am back now, and will be active online for the next few hours until Joe gets off work. This is the second game where I will be primarily communicating in character, so don't expect much in the way of ooc comments, as they will be few and far between. I will put analysis in my rp posts as I see the need for it, but you may not pick up on said analysis. Little Altea is a bit...vague...when it comes to things like that. Also, I have not actually read the Reckoners series. @Ecthelion III just mentioned me in-thread and said I should sign up, so I did. The concept for the game sounded fun, and I thought I would give it a go. xD Anyway, if anyone wants to rp with little Altea, feel free to reply.]
