Nah, I know you voted! Since you'd already pointed out that you voted, I was just adding that Polly hasn't posted at all, lol--sorry for the confusion xD

To be fair, I can see a world where playing as a specifically blatant elim is a viable strategy. If you do it right, it could throw village off enough by the mindset of 'it's too obvious to be the right choice'. Currently I have slight suspicions on Twin, but do still read him as village-leaning I think. ....We have 13 players in the game, lol. @KelsierApologist hasn't actually posted in thread yet. She posted in our Court doc right after the game went live the other night, but hasn't been back since saying hello. Anyway, I have finally gone through all the posts in the thread so far and wrote out my current thoughts in a google doc, since I am determined to try and take notes to organize my thoughts this time, lol--we'll see how long that lasts. After doing so, I am getting sus vibes from The Unknown Hammerer, so am placing my vote on him. His posts feel too laid back to me, and more specifically, his tone reads as how he talks and acts when he's an elim. I don't think that's his village playstyle, too? At the very least, the first game I played with him he wasn't as blasé I don't think? For now, he is the person I'm most sus of, with Twin following after. I don't have any reads on Polly yet, since she hasn't been around enough for me to actually get a sense of her vibe this game. Goooood morning everyone~ First things first, current vote count: Hoid Slayer/Ekkar Loral: (1) BigBadBagsworth KelsierApologist/Zyvoxid: (2) Hoid Slayer, Amanuensis IcedOutPenguin/___________: (1) Araris Valerian Doc12/Evi: (1) ThatOneWorldHopper Amanuensis/Kosm: (1) Doc12 Araris Valerian/Arlun: (1) IcedOutPenguin Speaking of courts, I can't decide if I think it is better to know pairs or not, especially since Courts will change over the course of the game. At the same time, it would be beneficial to know Court-pairings each cycle for Vote counting, since each "God" in play votes in-line with their priests. Rn, I'm going to hold off on voting since I don't have any gut-reads currently. -- Leucosia eyed the gathered priests, listening with an aloof expression as arguments and accusations flew about around her. It seemed people were quick to point fingers as soon as anything went wrong, but she didn't have a clear indication for the exact ringleader yet--Arlun had been the first to throw out an accusation at ___________, but Ekkar and As If were the two who kept the momentum going. CD followed suit, though his vote was rescinded after a single response--curious, curious.

I'm signing up as Leucosia Thalassa, a totally not suspicious woman, who has only the purest of intentions and definitely doesn't stir up trouble for her own entertainment.

Yeaaaaah, this stance feels really weird to me. Considering TUF is currently the most suspicious of the sitters, it makes the most sense to Still him tonight. RNG doesn't really help in this instance, because the odds of randomly eliminating a V!Sitter is higher than randomly hitting an E!Sitter, since the V!Sitters hopefully outnumber the E!Sitters out of who was elected. Voting for TUF, or not voting at all, feels like it is more beneficial to the BA than it is to the Tower imo. Can confirm, hovering over the symbol it says "Teldris Anuar joined recently" The bit of back and forth between Hopper and Terris also feels kinda weird, ngl--might be worth it to look through all their conversations in-thread again, but I am not up for that rn lol. Terris responded to Hopper’s vote really fast, which then led to Hopper removing their vote right after--which feels like really convenient timing. IDK, something about that interaction, in particular, feels really off to me.

Something to keep in mind is if the Brown Ajah does choose to protect TUF, we need to have a third option for stilling at 2 votes--otherwise it will still get randomized among the 3-vote Sitters, if the two people with the lowest votes are protected by passive or active abilities.

Side note, but I do go exclusively by They/Them or Fae/Faer pronouns btw Jo in the Bush thank you for posting a vote tally too, that helps with tracking. It also still feels really weird to be voting in red for the people we don't want to be stilled tonight, lol.

Bolded the main points, but I think your initial push to use the Green Ajah ability is what felt most off--talking about ignoring the Amrlyin stuff while also advocating to hasten it with the green ability felt really weird to me. My suspicions are lessened now, since you explained in your newest post that you were acting under a lil bit of a misunderstanding. Reading your original post again, that's the only thing that super stands out to me now. In general, I really only go off of gut-reads--that's what I did last game, too, and successfully exe'd Steeldancer on the last cycle--though he very rudely took me down with him. I struggle to do actual, like, cohesive or understandable analysis most of the time, so it is just less overwhelming for me in general to just go off of my gut-reads, since they are often fairly accurate. I play SE the same way I go through life rip But in general, I don't think it is a good idea to ignore the elections, since complacency feels like it would make it easier for the BA to either get a E!Sitter elected, or push us to depose a V!Sitter if we aren't careful--putting it off until it goes to a plurality feels like a bad idea for that reason. Then again, the Night cycles are presumably going to be more focused on that aspect of the conversation, I suppose. That is also part of what makes me weary of Kas, since being read as so village when he is leading the conversation could set us up for following his lead when it comes to stilling and elevating sitters later on--which stresses me out. I tend to air on the side of overly-suspicious, which is why thread leaders always raise my guard so much. Obviously I must answer the call and support my spouse in all their endeavors Anyyyyway, I don't know how many more times I'll be able to check the thread before rollover, so adjusting my vote again now. Mark IV, for now I'll back off, but I still don't trust you. :squint: I could see the misunderstanding of the abilities being real, but it could just as easily be a backpedaling from people calling E!Mark out on it, so I don't know. I think of the ties currently, Kasimir and KelsierApologist are the ones I'm most e!leaning on. Given one of my docmates pointed out that regardless of Kas's alignment, he is pushing conversation and giving a lot of information makes him worthwhile to not exe D1--and I am inclined to trust my docmates. I've realized this game that by having a doc to talk with a few people 'privately' it makes me much faster to trust them rip Just saw Steel's post--I swear this is the one time I'm not intentionally making it a tie again Steel, lol. Vote Count: KelsierApologist (3): The Wandering Wizard, Terrisman, xxGaea Kasimir (2): TwinStorm, BridgeBoi xxGaea (2): Sart, Kasimir DrakeMarshall (3): Ashbringer, Joe, Steeldancer TwinStorm (1): Aeternum Ashbringer (1): ThatOneWorldhopper STINK (1): Teldris Anuar So far, 13/18 players have now voted. @KelsierApologist @The Unknown Flame @DrakeMarshall @Mark IV @STINK don't forget about the inactivity filter--we gotta make sure to vote every cycle.

To be fair, I've never played with Kas before afaik so I don't actually know what his playstyle is one way or the other. In general, yeah, a lot of people do work that way, but my brain doesn't. I can't always pinpoint what is causing it, and if I go back and read everything Kas has said now, none of it will be the source, it will all just be suspicious, because it tis the full picture that is making me suspicious.

I mean, it's something I've seen in other mafia-style games I've participated in--making yourself super visible and obvious, since it can often put others "at ease" so to speak. I wasn't aware that it was considered to mostly be a town trait. I don't remember any specific posts that caused my wariness of Kas, just a general feeling of off-ness as a whole. While I try to make analysis when I have them, I generally run off of gut instincts instead to varying degrees of effectiveness since that is a more enjoyable way to play for me. That's the problem with explaining my thought process--the process is largely built on vibes. The only other people that come to mind would be Jo and Steel. For Jo, I don't think she is an elim, since his reactions seem genuine--but I am also in the same boat they are in where I don't actually trust my judgement on them since we're married, lol. As for Steel, I have conflicting feelings on his alignment, but I think that is partially due to the last game we just played in. In general, Kas's posts are the ones that have stuck out to me most, from a mixture of the amount of information it seems like he has and the general tone feeling off to me. Regardless, as it was pointed out that my joke vote has no real purpose Drake Marshall, placing my actual vote on Mark IV.

I mean, making things go to RNG is kinda my thing, since I just do things for my own amusement. I placed a random vote to tie things for now, because I want to have more information to actually analyze and go off of before placing a real vote. My reason for mate-claiming was also because it seemed like the consensus among everyone was that we are doing the whole pair-claim thing? Is it somehow less suspicious for me to just not say anything at all? Go completely against what people have pushed for?

Eh? Why does that seem like something I'd try for? To answer the question though, nah I wasn't trying to get elected as Sitter in my Ajah--too much responsibility and stress tbh. I try to avoid roles that require me to be super active in the thread, since that's something I struggle with--I prefer to collect my thoughts and vibes for awhile before I post--my classmates always hate it in online discussions. Only 2 of us voted in my Ajah--so it was rng'd between me and the person who RNG chose as our Sitter, since Teldris thought there was a lower chance of an elim being elected if we had RNG decide. [remember that we can't execute non-stilled Sitters]

I can't help myself, gotta make things a tie for now since one of our Grand Sitters has demanded we all vote! Sorry Drake Marshall, I am voting you for the time being to embrace the Gods of Chance. I'll most likely end up changing it before rollover, as I hopefully get more analysis on people--there just haven't been enough posts yet for me to really have any reads--combined with also having a migraine today, lol. Currently, gut-read says Mark IV is suspicious--I can't quite put my finger on what is bothering me about what he last posted, but something just feels off to me. I am also slightly suspicious of Kas rn, since he seems to be so fully be controlling the conversation this cycle and last cycle. Could genuinely be a village thing--but it could very easily be an elim making themselves very present and active in the thread to avoid suspicion--since a lot of elims tend to prefer to lurk and make minimal posts in my experience. EDIT: Since it seems like we are mate-claiming, and my ajah-mates didn't seem opposed when I asked, me and @Teldris Anuar are part of the same Ajah~

I am giggling at poor John--having to even more commit to the bit now, lol. >.> Considering you have been referred to and referred to yourself as 'Rabble Rouser', you have kinda given yourself a reputation for being good at this game. Of the Sitters, @Sart didn't post at all N0 and @BridgeBoi only posted twice--so I would be very interested to hear in how they got elected to the role?

V ! lean and E ! lean is just a shorthand for saying if you currently think another player is a Villager or Eliminator. :3 The V/E followed by an ! is just to signify which direction you think someone currently is, if that makes sense

It was something I had already kinda touched on the night before actually, before any overcamping comments had been made, lol. Iirc, I saw Kas's new comment towards the end of writing my rp, but I had mainly been trying to expand my thoughts from the night before like I'd said I would. To be fair, I think it was in-part because I was a gremlin and voted on them--I didn't actually think she would get exed day one for it and felt a lil bad after. xD

In my defense, I had already started typing up my thoughts, but got sidetracked researching lore about the various Ajahs to try and rp in character Even without that, I tend to take awhile to actually formulate and write my responses and thoughts since I get easily stressed out and second guess myself, lol But also, I have this thread and my Ajah doc pinned and always open on my computer and will regularly check in to see if anything has happened, since there isn't much for me to do between terms

After he stepped back, she carefully smoothed out her monochromatic dress with one hand as she listened to his explanation. "I suppose that makes sense, though it is illogical to make baseless accusations nonetheless. If everyone is making claims, I imagine that only makes it easier for this supposed Black Ajah to eliminate Aes Sedai that they believe pose a threat to them, does it not?" She still had a few books nestled in the crook of her free arm, and she gestured towards them in response to his inquiry. "I am looking into similar cases to the present to see if there are any patterns. It may be beneficial to providing a first course of action, so I was returning to my quarters for silence." She glanced around them, her head tilting slightly to the side. "If you are concerned for your Aes Sedai's safety, why are you not with her?" --------- Hmmm, you do make a decent point--however, only the White Ajah has an ability that isn't done by unanimous decision. Then again, I suppose there is the concern of the Black Ajah having a majority in any of the real Ajahs. I do still think revealing 'easy targets' to the elims is not the best idea n0, though.

Altea blinked at the man who had just pushed her against the wall, irritation making her neck flush red. Keeping her face impassive, save for a slight quirking of one eyebrow, she pushed a hand against his chest in a silent request to be released. "There is no logical reason for me to wish to follow you, sir. I do not appreciate being accused and accosted in my own residence." She eyed him, her suspicion growing. "Is there some reason someone would wish to follow you?" ----- My brain is too tired to really understand the conversation about reveals tbh--I feel like it would be better to not reveal though, since it's typically better for the elims to have access to less information. I'm not sure what use there is for village in revealing who are teammates and ajahs are? I'll try and give more coherent thoughts tomorrow--I just wanted to force myself to do an rp post tonight, to try and get over the fear of it lol

LMAO I mean hey, fair enough xD Also I will have it known that @A Joe in the Bush was lying about me in Dead doc! I never asked him if he knew whether I was dead or not--I asked if they knew when I would learn/how long after the cycle she learned she was dead, lol. Quick Fix 74: Ain't Nobody Got Time For That
xxGaea replied to The Unknown Medallion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I am also going to place my vote on Nobody[Steel], since I am still rather sus of him. That may end up changing, depending on what others say or do, but alas.
