Long ago I swore the oaths of an Assasin in Technicolor and despite my valent warnings of cookies and labors in the work of cookie containment, they ignored my oaths and denied me a place among their ranks. I now request admittance to their arch nemesis the Dark Alley. I vow to aid in the objectives of the Dark Ally and pursue the distribution of cookies with 10 times the zeal I once dedicated to their containment.

Its good to have you on the Shard, if I were you I wouldn't take the cookie it may be spikey.

I hate a lot of things, sporks, shoes, spikes and, Sades. I have good reasons for hating most of these things, my reason for disliking the dark alleys cookies is the idea of using shaders as lab rats to test the effects of hemalurgicly splicing the soul , in addition to this I am quite certain that your cookies have not ben approved by the FDA. I have sworn to abide by the precepts of the Assassins in Technicolor and will fight for the safety of each sharder threatened by caliginous baked goods.

Welcome to the shard, its great to have you here. Wile, I can't answer to your first question I can answer your second question. Days on Roshar are approximately 19 hours in length, this means that one 500 day Roshar year is equal to about 1.1 earth years. There is a great thread that discusses the life expectancy on Roshar here. P.S. If anyone offers you cookies just say no.
