  1. I have to mostly agree with this, actually, because - excluding the Reckoners and possibly Stormlight - his other ones would all have to be rated R.
  2. I believe there are pictures of this in the book.
  3. Sazedezas counted out four dice for a Physique roll, including his original two and two from his Traits. He rolled the dice, letting out a cry of surprise and joy as he saw two fives and two Nudges written on the upward faces of the dice. His roll having succeeded, he pushed open the huge doors and strode pompously into the hall. He bowed low, a sign of respect that he knew would qualify as a Positive Circumstance, potentially gaining him the tenth and final Charm die he would need for his upcoming roll. "Great Mistrunner" he said, rolling ten dice for Charm. "I wish to become one of you, a Knight Awkward. Additionally, I wish to belong to the Order of the Rolesmiths." Sazedezas took a knee, and began his recitation of the Oaths: "Books before friends. 17th Shard before the real world. Release dates before birthdays. I will bind others together with fictional narratives. I will battle on, even if my fictional characters fall around me. I shall raise my strength stat to defend those without, even at the cost of my resources." Sazedezas rose to his feet, exploding with anticipation, and awaited Mistrunner's response.
  4. Ouch, savage
  5. Here's a new one on war: Blood flows, like crimson rivers; the setting sun setting the rivers crimson, like flowing blood. (sorry this got posted so many times, my phone kept telling me it hadn't posted, so I kept trying again. Eventually I just refreshed the page and realized the error.)
  6. Zane, perhaps? I know he can pull off the insanity (or the supposed insanity) 'cause he made a great Hamlet.
  7. I meant assuming it's not Allomantically inert, it would still be Allomantically useless unless you found a way to break it.
  8. That makes sense, I was thinking Shardblades too, though they would probably be more useful in Feruchemy than Allomancy, since swallowing one would definitely kill you.
  9. Thanks.
  10. What does copper compounding do? I don't think it's actually been mentioned, so if it hasn't feel free to speculate. Since copper stores memories that will then no longer for in your brain, might burning a coppermind permanently engrave them in your mind so you remember them perfectly but don't have to forget them temporarily to preserve them? Would those memories be corruptible by Ruin?
  11. Is it possible that there are more Good metals like Atium, Lerasium, and Harmonium? Like, one for each of the other Shards? That could add some interesting Feruchemical abilities, I think.
  12. Oh my gosh! Kanohi Kakama! A fellow Bionicle fan!

If you do find the Mask if Investiture, please notify me.

    -Sazedezas, Maskmaker.

  13. I definitely think the important part is making the ideas palindromic, considering how glyphs work, so I would consider something like that a lower level ketek The exact wording is also important, of course, as shown by Sanderson's example keteks, by which standard this would still be a lower level ketek. Cool idea though.
  14. I haven't divided these into thoughts yet, only just thought of them today, but here they are. On Shards: "Men, killing for gain, use gain for killing men." (Note that the word "gain" can be replaced with "blades," "Shards," or "spren" without changing the meaning of the poem, but gain can also be used to imply the titles that come with capturing Shards.) On war: "Endlessly warring, Kings of land rid land of Kings, warring endlessly." "Spearmen, killing, by cavalry, help cavalry by killing spearmen." (This one uses both meanings of the word "by" to mean both alongside and the more common meaning that I'm having trouble defining).
  15. Only the original Mistborn trilogy and Way of Kings, though I'm reading Words of Radiance and Alloy of Law right now.
  16. About to post this, with more, in the Mistborn section.
  17. Empathy is stored in Duriluminminds. The intelligence thing is interesting though.
  18. Hey, I'm kind of new here, though I've been a Cosmere fan for a while. I'm currently the Narrator for my Mistborn Adventure Game Crew, and while reading the Treatise Metallurgic, I was quite interested to find that, while Lerasium can be made into an alloy with any other Allomantic metal, turning someone into a Misting of that metal Instead of a Mistborn, Atium has only one known alloy: Malatium, the so called Eleventh Metal, an alloy of Atium and gold. When Burned, Malatium allows the Allomancer to see someone else's past and might-have-beens, which makes it basically an external version of gold, which allows one to see one's own past and might-have-beens. This makes sense, as Atium is the External, God, Pulling metal. So, when Burning Malatium, you are basically Burning gold through someone else. It therefor stands to reason that the other Atium alloys would function similarly, effectively using their powers through someone else's body. I'll continue this later with more detail and speculations on the other alloys, but I figured this was as good a topic as any to introduce myself with. --Sazedezas
