  1. Thanks Elandera for @ing me! So I don't think lynching reklawdaoR would be very nice, since they haven't really said anything at all, even though they've been called out. Maybe they're busy. Who knows. However, this High Priest of Lord Tekiel (Rae?) is kind of concerning. I've noticed that quite a few people have voted on them, but I don't have anything besides my gut. To be honest, it's only been a few weeks since I joined! I don't know any of you. I'm pretty skeptical of Rae right now, so I'll just leave my vote there for now?
  2. I thought we weren't going to mention the Elephant in the room... But guys? I don't have one of those internet security plugins on my computer and all this talk of spambots is making me worried about viruses. Know any good ones? And I still don't know how to change my username...
  3. Hey guys! I’ve been a Sanderson fan for awhile, read everything except White Sand and Skyward(I cant find it at my library!). Wait... what’s going on? Can someone help me out? And how do I change my username and profile pic? I just had it randomly generate and now I have this boring Guest name.
  4. By Domi, this was a great game! It especially got tense towards the end, when we had a glimmer of hope that we could win. Seonid, this is the proper way to go out. A magnificent game, and from my limited view, very well excecuted. Joe, great co-GMing. Bravo. Congrats to the victors, who were just barely ahead of us. Well played. And everyone else, thanks for playing!
  5. The streams of fate that flow unseen midst the Realms often favor some, carrying them on the currents to greatness, grandeur, or tragedy. Everyone knows their names. But curious is the soul, normally stagnant, that is swept up in a new flood. For every metaphorical door has been opened for them. What shall they choose? -=------___----___---_====---- Of course I wouldn't pass this game up. Tarm is way out of his league.
  6. The woman frantically pulled herself into the van and slammed the door. With shuddering breaths, she attempted to bind her wound with her hoodie. It was soon red with blood. “Thank you,” she breathed. “Never really saw eye-to-eye with the province of Alberta.” The pain strained her voice. A few exploratory gunshots echoed outside, and Liam decided it was a good time to continue driving. “Bulletproof car,” the woman said, sounding both grateful and intrigued. “Who is it that saved me?” A strange way of wording the question, Liam thought. “Call me Moose,” he replied.
  7. As bullets whizzed through the air, the person just stared at Liam for a moment. They locked eyes, and he was surprised to find… determination in her gaze. Her pursuers continued to lay down suppression. And then she stepped towards the van. It happened incredibly fast and horrifically slow at the same time. A bullet ripped through her abdomen. Pain gripped her expression. Liam could almost perceive a hesitation in the gunfire, if only for a split-second. The woman crumpled to the ground. But then she pressed onwards, scramble-crawling to the van. Unfortunately, that meant the gunmen’s barrels were pointed in his direction. A few rounds glanced off the hood. Sparks, Liam thought. At least I built this thing for this. He heard a thump on the side door. The woman. Sparks, he thought again as he grit his teeth and grabbed the shotgun. Lowering the window just enough to poke the gun through, Liam blasted off two warning shots at the approaching gunmen. They fell back accordingly. Almost… too easily, a voice from the back of his mind whispered. He fired a final shot before reaching over to open the side door. It slid back, revealing the pain-wracked face of the woman. “Get in,” he ordered.
  8. Quite a fun game, here! Though for much of it I felt like a watcher looking in, constrained by my role, it was still enjoyable and the writeups were superb! Fifth, consider my debt of an MR paid .
  9. As he put the key in ignition, Liam instinctively relaxed. He could trust the van. It was his own creation. Carefully, he pulled out of the alley and checked over his shoulder for Nate and his ride, whatever that might be. An old red car pulled up behind him after a moment. Assuming that was Nate, Liam accelerated. Unfortunately, there was one wrench in the plan: Liam had no idea where Kokichi could be. They had no earpiece that the Circle could track, no indication of their location that had been left behind. And, now that he thought about it, he didn’t have much clue of where he was currently. Liam tapped on the dash, and the interface dinged. A rotating maple icon hovered for a few seconds while it calibrated before dissolving into a map of Edmonton. A blinking dot indicated the van. Northwest of city center, he repeated to himself. Quite the jump from before. He pressed another icon on the dash and waited a second. “Greetings, Agent Moose.” Call desk. “Run a search of unusually high groupings of Epics in the Edmonton area.” There was the clattering of a keyboard. “Yes, sir. Low intel will slow down the process, I’m afraid.” Liam anxiously drummed his fingers on the steering wheel. “Is Margaret’s counter finished? I remember it was in development,” he said as he turned the corner. “I am unaware—wait, here she is.” Shuffling noises and hints of muttering filtered through the com before Margaret’s voice came through. “Hello, Moose.” “Hello Margaret. Is the power counter complete?” Liam inquired. “No—” A burst of gunfire outside drowned out her words. “—But more importantly, find ‘Agent Rook.’” There was an explosion, followed by more gunfire. Liam slowed the van to a stop just as a figure sprinted out into the street. He leaned over the com. “Sorry, a bit busy all of a sudden. Will get back to you about Rook,” he said hastily, then ended the transmission. He scooped up his shotgun and scrambled to put his jacket on but paused. Did he want to get in a fight right now? The decision was simple; Liam laid on the horn and gestured for the person to sparking get out of the road.
  10. Well, now Drought's response has activated my pity. It sounds like he's yielding, and I hate lynching players who just give up. I'm not blaming Drought here, since I'm not 100% knowledgeable in the rules either, but its an occurrence that bothers me. Unfortunately, I doubt that this is a ploy to remove our votes on him. I don't want to get involved in the Mark - Aman spat, for reasons voiced by several player before me. However, we need to lynch someone today! Every chance to catch an Elim, we should take it! Of course, that line of thinking can get dangerously out of hand, but alas. Droughtbringer.
  11. Fura's analysis on Drought is pretty convincing, if only because I have no real leads currently. Similarly, Aman's lead on Mark IV seems like it has some weight. Some, but not enough to lynch on. I'd like to see Drought respond before I vote or anything, but if he hasn't said anything within an hour or two of rollover, I'm voting on him.
  12. Apologies for my sporadic activity. Due to the increasing number of critters bustling about (which I am aware of firsthand), I can conclude that at least Aginor is active *enough*. Perhaps not in-thread posting, but submitting actions and likely talking up the docs. Of course, the nasty folk don’t all have powers, and I’m not sure how to dicepher their activity. However, *takes deep breath* there is the nearly certain chance that one of the active players is a Darkfriend or one of the corrupt minions of the Dark One Himself. My list of such players includes (and might be limited to) Randuir, Fura, and Mr Doctor. And Aman, let’s not forget him. Now you may ask, “but Mr. Mundy! All these people seem like villagers? Why you hatin’ on them?” Well, I wouldn’t be so trusting if I were you. Activity and discussion is an age-old trick of appearing village. And don’t let the veterancy of Randuir or Aman delude you; both are devious and could be fooling us the whole time... That only covers Aginor, and I’m sure that if I went back and did some vote analysis I could narrow down my suspects, but there are still other Darkfriends around. Somewhere.
  13. Since I will be unable to be active until rollover, I'd like to get a vote in. Looking over some of the more interesting players, I narrowed my suspicions to Randuir and Fura. BR is also kind of on that list, but her inactivity is really limiting what I can say about her. I have a general distrust of Randuir, partially from gut. He also is leaning Elim towards players I feel are more village-y, but that's NAI. Fura is also suspicious to me for similar reasons, but in a more definite sense. I'm intrigued by this vote on Mr. Doctor. Fura states this is a poke vote, but this is D3. Is this really the time for poke votes? I understand that Mark IV had some confusion with votes last Night, but this vote still leaves something to be desired. The line of thinking Fura presents is reasonable, but discredits the possibility of inactivity among the Elims, a factor that creates variability in such logic. Mainly, I have a general village read for Mr. Doctor, and the supposition that because he is still alive means that he is an Elim doesn't seem like grounds for a lynch. Under the same logic, Fura could be Elim as well. Thus, Furmirionind.
  14. I realize I didn't look over Mr. Dr, as he was the other contributor to Snip's lynch. Looking over his posts from the last turn, it seems his motives were to 1. get information 2. somehow gather suspicion for Karn. He does admit that he has some hesitations in placing a vote on Snip. In actuality, Mr. Dr's vote came before most of the votes (which were tacked on without much given evidence). This, and the general vibe I'm getting from his posts, I'm giving Mr Doctor a village read. Hemalurgic Headshot
  15. Right now, I haven't searched through these people's posts to draw any conclusions beyond gut reads. BR hasn't posted yet this cycle, and that's partially why I'm not sure about my position on her.
  16. Greetings. Aman's note on Rath's vote negation is valid in my eyes. Now, there is always the possibility that this is part of a ruse by the Darkfriends to protect one of their own by way of a WGG-esque maneuver, but my gut tells me Rath is village. Since Snip turned Village, here' my thoughts on his accusers. - Rath: Village-ish, as I noted above. But otherwise on the fence. - Mark: Expressed wanting to eliminate vote manip. Seems reasonable. - BR: Not sure? - Karn: A newcomer, but I'm not taking chances. Hemalurgic Headshot
  17. Don't ask how the wagon got this far into the Blight. That's the wrong question. You should be asking what happened to the mules. (Checking in. Will be doing a thorough reading of the rules to actually understand all of the actions.) Hemalurgic Headshot
  18. “Karabiner?” Nate’s voice shot up in pitch. “The weapons Epic? I can only imagine. I’m new here, but I have a car.” Liam was about to ask if he needed a ride and was pleased to have his question answered. Nate then mumbled something, but Liam didn’t catch it. Liam walked outside, leading Nate along. “Well, you can follow my van then,” he said over his shoulder. The way Nate’s voice peaked when he mentioned Karabiner intrigued him, but he let it slide. He could get around to possibly interrogating him after they found Kokichi. They crossed the street, and Liam walked to the alley where the van was parked. He turned to Nate, hand on the door. “If you happen to see anything out of the ordinary, flash your brights. Okay?”
  19. By popular request, it is I! The Ookla of the East, (also known as HH, but who are you to know that? The Aiel wilderness is a treacherous place...) is here to play! Skern Mundy, traveling salesman, gleeman, handyman, something-man... you name it, I can probably do it for you. But only if you pay first! *wink* At yer service! Please, no need to rush, strict no autograph policy, hey don't touch that...
  20. "I... Well... Yeah, that seems as good an idea as any. Plus you'll be safer—physically, aside from some pain—If I'm there. No telling what he can do." Liam gave him a funny look. The stammering made it difficult to understand the man sometimes. Something about his powers? "What's with-" Nate muttered "... Oh. I meant Nathan, not Ko... kichi, was it? Nathan seemed suspicious." “Nathan?” Liam considered it. “He could be the Epic of the two, or Jade is, or both. And I’m sure Kokichi will be fine.” A smile crossed his face as he thought about what might be going on wherever they were. He couldn’t fathom exactly what Kokichi might do, but it would be ridiculous. And likely very inhibiting for their captors. Liam grabbed a doughnut from the neglected box on his way towards the exit. Now, where could they be, he wondered. Kokichi must have some sort of effect on the teleporter… somewhere thematically-appropriate… “Hey Nate, know of anything… peculiar or important happening in town? Or maybe something to do with Karabiner?”
  21. I just nervous around other Epics. Nate’s words. Liam raised an inquisitive eyebrow at the slip. Yet another Epic. He almost chuckled. How many Epics could he meet in one day and still stay alive? Who knows… Before he could speculate Nate’s abilities, Jade’s eyes went wide. “Oh my god. Oh... oh my god,” she said, staring off behind them. Without missing a beat, Nathan grimaced. “Oh yeah. That… that looks bad.” Liam frowned. He hadn’t heard anything, no commotion to herald an accident. He was about to call out the pair for their ill-timed attempt at distraction when Kokichi spun around to look behind them, limbs spinning out like helicopter blades. Liam ducked on reflex, nearly sliding backwards. For a startled second, Liam blinked. And when he opened his eyes, Kokichi was gone. He stared at the space where the exuberant Epic had just been for a moment, then realized Jade and Nathan were gone as well. Could it have been Kokichi? The thought crossed Liam’s mind, but he shook his head. Never had they spontaneously disappeared, at least not without a cue of some sort. So, the question was, Jade or Nathan? After a moment of thought, Liam stood and gripped Nate’s shoulder. “Well, looks like you’re along for the ride. Time to find some Epics,” he said.
