  1. Just a notice for everyone, I have added redirects to the OoA (Order of Actions) because I remembered that there are in fact a couple roles that can redirect things.
  2. If it’s an ability that you can store during the day and use during the night (and only costs one charge), then yes, you could use a feruchemical ability on N1. It just depends on which ability it is. PAFO (play and find out)
  3. Yeah, you can join! Welcome to Sanderson Elimination! I'm excited to have you! Yeah, it's completely doable from mobile. Just pull up the 17th Shard on your phone and you'll be good to go. It might also be a good idea to have google docs on your phone as well, in case you become an elim. In case you haven't yet, you should really take a look through our General Rules thread. It helps explain a lot of things about the game. You're always free to ask me a question if you're confused though! Also, we've got a Discord server if you want to come hang out with us and talk about things that aren't just Sanderson Elimination. Anyway, I'm glad to see you join us!!
  4. I’m glad you’re excited for this game. I’ve been waiting a long time to run this, so I’m pretty excited too.
  5. Possibly, it’s been awhile since I ran that game. Don’t remember everything we talked about in that doc.
  6. I mean, you could just sign up anyway. I'm kidding, I'll go ahead and send you the spec doc.
  7. @Straw I revealed all of the hidden contents. That was glorious.
  8. Buying stuff does not count as an action, but using an item does count as an action. A charged spike requires an action to use, but the bulletproof vest does not.
  9. No, because the action is performed on someone who's in the time bubble, so it can't get redirected. No No
  10. Hey, welcome to Sanderson Elimination! Yeah, you just sign up with a character and we do the rest. You'll receive a PM from us once the game starts with your role(s) and your alignment (village/mafia). There's also have the General Rules which will give you a good overview of what Sanderson Elimination is like and stuff. If you have anymore questions after that, just let me know! We also have a Discord Server where we can chill and talk about things outside of just the games. I'm glad you're signing up for the game!
  11. Is it not revealing that Fura still hasn't really responded to the claims from DeTess yet? It's honestly surprising me that he hasn't really shown up to defend himself at all. Or if he has, he didn't really address the claim so I forgot he posted. Whether or not DeTess is the one who actually scanned Fura, I think it's worthwhile to either look into him or suggest that someone kill him. At least for now, until we receive a response from @Furamirionind. First of all, I'm confused on how I can be an elim based on everyone else's posts? Like...do they get to decide if I'm an elim or something? Or am I completely misreading this? Secondly, thank you for the gut village read. I greatly appreciate it. I think you're the first person who has that type of reaction to me normally. To be fair, I don't think that wilson was really arguing vehemently against us. At least, it didn't really feel that way from my end. @little wilson thoughts? I also don't think it would be beyond her to argue against her teammates the way she argued against me and Pyro. Wilson's experienced enough (even if she hasn't played a lot lately) to know how to distance from herself from her teammates pretty well. All that being said, I really don't suspect wilson at all right now. I don't have many suspicions besides the obvious ones (Straw, Pyro, Fura), but I think I'm going to go through everything that's happened this cycle over the course of tomorrow and try and get some solid reads on other players. Even if all three of those players are elims, there's still anywhere from 4-6 other players besides them on the team. We can't go lax just because we might've hit a jackpot of elims C2. Anyway, I'll probably still be reading the thread for another hour or so, but that's just so I don't get too behind before I wake up tomorrow. If anyone really needs me, tag me.
  12. I mean...I know I wouldn't do that in your position if it were me. If you are an elim and this is the reason that you're doing this, that's kind of unfair for your teammates. Though maybe you already asked them and they were on board with it since you already had some suspicion anyway? I don't know. I thought I had some idea of what was going on in this game and now I'm just confused.
  13. ...Well, I guess Karnage isn't lying. I wasn't expecting Straw to come on and troll. And apparently Pyro might actually be an elim? Maybe he's just a villager messing around? But what would be the point of that? I guess it would be a good idea to have someone kill Pyro? Though it might also be a good idea to have someone kill Fura too, what with that whole targeting Araris thing too. And if I remember correctly, it seems Pyro's the one who spread the idea that there was someone else who targeted Araris as well. If/when Pyro flips elim, we can assume that person is village, I think. I don't think it'd be a good idea to tie the votes on Pyro and Straw. Leaves way too much room for vote manipulation. If we're wrong about one of them, then we end up lynching a villager (as the elims probably have vote manipulation and will save the one that's actually an elim). Wow this has been quite a crazy game already. Over 250 posts in the first day, and now this? Dang. EDIT: apparently trolling=voting. Straw has been trolling, not voting.
  14. @Elkanah Already got it right. It serves no practical purpose besides making me smile. ......or does it?
  15. Gold and electrum would show you everyone who targeted you, yeah.
  16. You earn boxings for all of your posts (Day and Night turns) but can only buy from the Black Market during the Night. Which role are you talking about? Seekers only learn which metal(s) someone burned that turn. I'm pretty sure there aren't any abilities that would let you learn more than one target (unless you tapped multiple charges of something at once).
  17. The answer is: I was too lazy to write rules for it, so it doesn't work.
  18. There are almost certainly elims on Straw's lynch, regardless of his actual alignment.
  19. Lerasi walked through the streets of Elendel, careful to watch for signs someone was tailing her. Her handlers had missed the scheduled meeting to discuss what she’d learned about the People’s Republic of Elendel’s plans with the allomancers and feruchemists they were recruiting. It had been almost a year since they’d overthrown the old government and installed a military regime. Lerasi and the other Loyalists were doing everything they could to tear the regime down, which is how she’d found herself being recruited into a secret force of metalborn. She checked her pocket watch as she walked past the meeting point one more time. It was the time that her handlers were supposed to meet her several days ago. She’d finally received a message from them a few days ago. Apparently they’d almost been caught by the PRE’s hazekillers and had to abort the mission. Lerasi shuddered at the thought of having been there when it happened. Lerasi opened the door to the abandoned building and began to make her way to the meeting room. She tapped bronze to check for any signs of allomancy nearby. Thankfully, she didn’t feel anything, so she opened the door and walked in. There was no one there. Before she had time to react, a hand was around her mouth and someone threw her to the ground. A tall man walked into the center of the room from where he’d been hiding in a shadowed corner. Lerasi’s heart stopped for a moment. They’d found her, they must’ve set her up, she was going to die- “Are you alone?” The man said calmly. Lerasi looked up at him, careful to not move too much lest the people holding her down thought she was trying to escape. “As if I’d ever tell you.” She spat at him. He smiled. “That’s what I wanted to hear.” ~ The group of metalborn had been gathered altogether for the first time since they’d all been recruited. People of all ages and from all over the Elendel Basin had been gathered in Elendel to become the peacekeepers for the fledgling republic. A tall man stood in front of the group, their eyes focused intently on him. “I have gathered you all here today,” he said, his eyes scanning across the people before him, “because there are traitors amongst us.” He held up a hand to prevent the whispers that were already spreading through the group. “Lock the doors,” he said to the hazekillers at the edges of the room. “The building has been locked down. There are enough rations here to keep us all alive for the next...month or so. No one is leaving until we have rooted out the traitors amongst us.” He smiled. “I hope you enjoy your stay.” ~ Welcome to Long Game 66: A Struggle for Power! This is a spiritual successor to the game I ran last summer, LG56. This game will be run by me and my fantastic co-GM @Young Bard with @Fifth Scholar as our wonderful IM. I’ll be posting the rules down below, but I’m not sure how great the formatting is going to be when I try to put them in here. If you want to read the rules with much better formatting, you can do so here. Signups will end on Wednesday, June 3rd at 9 pm CDT. The game will start around 10 pm CDT. ~ Rules: Player List: Quick Links:
  20. To be fair, I could see someone like Aman pulling something off like this as an elim and talking himself out of dying for the next 3 cycles. Granted, he doesn't normally pull stunts like this except when he feels he absolutely needs to. I'm not saying Karnage is absolutely pulling a stunt, just saying that he might be and we have to keep that in mind.
  21. It depends on the elim team. Sart did that in the most recent QF, but I can't remember the last time it happened before that. I'm talking about early game bussing at least. Bussing is a relatively common tactic in the later game when a teammate is up for the lynch and an elim doesn't want to draw suspicion to themselves. I don't think it's super likely that Karnage is an elim bussing his fellow teammate Straw. It's something I could maybe possibly see Straw recommending if he was an elim based on all the suspicion that's been thrown at him already, but I don't know for sure if he'd do it.
  22. Hmm...that does make sense. @A Joe in the Bush 2 questions. Is the thread notified if someone is attacked but survives? When a scanner is extorted, do they receive the results for the alignment of whoever they scanned but are told the name of the original person they tried to scan? For now, I think it might be best if we lynch Straw instead of Karnage. If Karnage is lying, then we know to lynch him next cycle when Straw flips village. If he isn't lying, then we get an elim and actually have to worry about protecting Karnage. I don't want this to stifle discussion though. @Furamirionind I'm still curious why about why you targeted Araris last cycle.
  23. I guess I should keep in mind the fact that Joe is a troll. I probably should know better based on how I like to mess with role distribution myself. This game is so big though, that it just seems odd to me to only have one village bodyguard to protect against both the elim kill and Bleeder's kill. I'm not willing to bank on the assumption that there are two. But I would still like to know if Karnage is actually Flogs or not. We're already at the point where we're in a sticky situation with Flogs. Either he really did just out himself to the whole thread and we already have to worry about how to keep him alive, or we can lynch him to figure out if we really need to do this, and if he was lying, we catch an elim (or possibly Bleeder, but I don't think Karnage is Bleeder) and we get to spare Straw's life. At least for now. I don't think elim!Straw would've recommended that elim!Karnage do this, but I could see Karnage coming up with the idea on his own and doing it to buy himself villager brownie points.
