On an unrelated note, we hit #1 on the most replies leaderboard awhile ago with 2,218 total replies. The only thing with more replies is the Art of Game Creation thread, which is currently at 2,387 replies. This game is truly insane. Anyway, I think Orlok’s thing made it way too easy for the elims to hide behind things. It doesn’t help that they’re not going to feel under any real pressure in this game because when they get exed they don’t really lose as much as they would in a normal game.

I think he’s saying that it tells him X players within the Y players voting on the tied people are elims? Idk, Orlok’s role claim is confusing to me.

Yeah it’s been a recent euphemism for Coinshots, since you get to see someone’s role and alignment when they die.

Well, the goal with my vote would have been to keep everyone at the same vote count somehow. Don’t know how to set that up right now…. @Amanuensis I’m good Aman. I’m not tempting Death anymore this game.

What just happened in the last couple hours I was gone? Also man I would totally vote on Steel right now for being sussy about getting Lynchbait and doing nothing with it (and bringing things closer to a 3-way tie) if I wasn’t worried about wasting my one vote.

You know, that’s a great point. Come on guys, we can do this! Though this time I’ll actually contribute some game discussion. I haven’t done much of that lately. Drake, have you noticed the fact that dead players don’t actually die yet? Because hello! I was exed D1! Also I (in a very roundabout way) scanned Aman as sharing my alignment (aka we’re both village-though you guys don’t know that for sure obviously). And this almost sort of clears Bookwyrm, who scanned me as village. And I can’t see any reason to claim that that benefits the elims more than it does the village. So I’m inclined to think Bookwyrm is village alongside us. Oh also dead players can’t die again, but they do get a one time vote to use at some point in the game. I don’t know about the other zombies, but I’m planning on saving it for when it’s announced that exing the GMs (something the elims can do at parity to win) is allowed.

As far as I'm aware, Removed/DDoS'd Players have to vote in thread. People have already sort of explained it before me by this point, but it's always good to explain it again. I'll try to make it as simple as possible. Before I was removed, one of my two roles was Lynchbait. It was a passive ability activated if I was one of the top 3 vote trains at the 24 hour mark of a Day cycle. If activated, one of the voters on me at that time would receive an extra vote on them the next Day cycle. However, it would only affect players who share my alignment. I requested that no one vote on any of Araris, Aman, or Wiz as those were the players who could have been affected by my Lynchbait ability. However, Sart voted on Araris despite this request (and Araris received an extra vote alongside Aman), which has made things murky. I don't really blame him, as he likely didn't even see the request with how many pages of discussion there have been. Hmm. That is interesting. I don't think e!Araris would have any incentive to claim this, if the goal was to make Araris look like a villager. This gives me huge v!Araris vibes. You're good Sart. It seems like it all worked out, because I don't see a world where e!Araris doesn't try to ride the coattails of the extra vote appearing on him as well.

Aaaaaaaaand this is why I didn't want anyone voting on the Lynchbait Three. Now I've got an extra vote on both Aman and Araris, and my action was basically useless. Thanks Sart.

We'd still get the extra vote. But if there's like extra vote manip or something going on, it could hide that. If they leave this turn with no votes on them and show up with a vote in the thread for N2, then we know for sure they're probably my Lynchbait buddy.

Any chance you'd be willing to vote on anyone besides Aman, Araris, and Wiz, so that it's very clear which one gets my Lynchbait vote?

Hmm. I'm not sure if Dannex is the best option, considering he's been in the lead for a bit and nothing has happened. Though maybe the elims aren't super worried about their people dying because they'll still have the votes they need at the end of the game as long as at least one of them is alive?

Don’t forget that Removed/DDoS’d Player counts as a role. Or at least that’s the impression I got, based on the description. When you “die,” you actually survive, lose your old role(s), gain one more vote to use in the game, and I think keep any PMs you have. Oh and you can’t be killed again. At least as far as we know. @Devotary of Spontaneity @Tani did I miss anything?
