  1. I definitely enjoyed the book, but it didn’t really hit. Maybe I read it too quickly. It was so much information that I read in basically 3 days, so even having just finished I feel like there’s a lot I don’t remember. I’ll probably have to go back and reread slower or maybe listen to it. WoK and WoR are just untouchable tho. I'm pretty satisfied with the ending and I’m excited to see what comes next, in the cosmere and on Roshar. Kinda worried about Dova tho lol.
  2. Big ups on what’s up with Nohadon. My big questions is, what’s the deal with Dova? It was her being broken (greedy for money) that led her to make a deal with Odium. Will that be healed as the Heralds wait to Return? Or will she still serve him after? Are they separated/protected from Retribution in such a way that she couldn’t reveal them to him even if she wanted to? Will she bide her time and pretend to be better? Will she actually be healed and not betray them? Or will she think she’s healed but later betray them anyway?
  3. In the second epilogue, Hoid mentions a time when he had his memories stolen. I think the only time we've seen that is at the end of RoW when Taravangian messes with his Breath. I think it's likely it's a reference to that and he eventually finds out what happened to him, though it could also be another event that we don't know about.
  4. In the Fiction by Brandon Sanderson section, the first Infinity Blade is spelled Infinity Blae
  5. I was wondering that too. I was like, wait, Oathbringer is an honorblade??? But that didn't make sense because its wielders probably would have figured that out at some point.

  7. A cake, taking its sweetness.
  8. Hey homie, I think this pretty much got answered at a recent signing!
  9. Oathbringer spoilers
  10. Here's a theory as to why Nightblood is so invested/messed up maybe. We've got WoB stating that shardblades are actually god metal. (https://wob.coppermind.net/events/35-arcanum-unbounded-hoboken-signing/#e2541). What if Vasher and Shashara knew that and instead of awakening steel, they awakened god metal? Then maybe Azure's blade is just normal awakened steel, and that's part of why they are so different.
  11. Don't know why they're bothering with weird swords and stuff.
  12. I think this WoB might be relevant. Not sure how to cite this properly, but here is the link: https://wob.coppermind.net/events/183-stormlight-three-update-6/#e3911 So it seems like after enough Investiture, Nightblood gets "full" or something. So there is probably a limit to how much it could consume at once. Like, I'd guess it probably couldn't devour a Shard in one go.
  13. I don't know if I remember this, but if you are wielding Nightblood and using it on someone, will it stop sucking Investiture out of you while it sucks it out of them, or does it do both simultaneously? Or does it even suck Investiture out of targets, but rather only wielders? What does it actually do to things the blade touches?
  14. I thought that Vasher said Nightblood consumes more Breath the longer it is drawn when he uses it in Warbreaker...
  15. My theory is that that spren was Odium's real champion. Just like how the Fused took the bodies of Amaram and his men, the champion needed a body. So Odium had been preparing Dalinar to be the vessel of his champion. But since Dalinar resisted Odium, we didn't get a chance to actually see it in action, and it just left with Odium. My guess is that if Dalinar would have fallen, the spren would have taken over his body. And Dalinar was seeing that spren when he saw it in a vision in Part I.
  16. I'm actually really excited to see what Nale does in Oathbringer. At the end of Edgedancer, he was like, "Oh I can't be crazy anymore." Will he meet up with Dalinar and help him find the Radiants? After all, he is really good at hunting them down...
  17. Ha at first I was reading side by side comics as one comic and I was soooooo confused
