Ok guys, I know I talk a lot about Lashing, about half of mi posts in the Shard are about that, but it's just that I'm fascinated by this kind of investiture, Stormlight's magic system is my favorite out of all of the ones I have seen. Now to the question, in the prologue of WoR, we saw Jasnah enter Shadesmar, in there, if I recall correctly, she saw that Gavilar's palace is seen as just one thing in Shadesmar, I guess that means that the entire palace can be Invested. Does that mean that a Skybreaker or a Windrunner powerful enough could destroy the palace by lashing it to a side?

Sorry, didn't imagine it was that hard and expensive to make.

[BoM spoilers ahead!] Hoid's objective in BoM

Yeah, that's also what I thought too, but how can that be beneficial for him? -
[BoM spoilers ahead!] Hoid's objective in BoM
Sallin Zeras replied to Sallin Zeras's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Well, Coppermind says that the Wax and Wayne novels take place between Stormlight 5 and Stormlight 6, and I'm guessing Odium is the Bad Guy in Stormlight, so I don't think Odium is being defeated in the half of the series, it would be a waste of the character. -
Ok, guys, so, as many of us should know, Hoid wrote the letter in TWoK (I know it's not officially confirmed, but come on, we all now he did), in which he states that he wants to stop Rayse/Odium, which leads us to believe that Hoid's ultimate goal is to stop Odium. Now, in BoM, Hoid gives the metalmind to Wax, basically telling him that Kelsier is still around somewhere. This leads into my question, how would that help Hoid achieve his goal?

What is Rall Elorim?
Sallin Zeras replied to Ted aka WinespringBrother's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Maybe its like seons on Sel, who knows, but I'm sure we'll see it in the books sooner or later -
Yeah, It's not absolutely necessary, but it would be nice. If it's just too much work for you then that's Ok.

Right now, there's nothing to do but to wait, they haven't translated Edgedancer, I'm sure that will take some time. Sorry

My dreams have come true. Now, if we could get Brandon to write a "400K word monstrosity" with the "I am a stick" sentence all over it... That would be a bestseller, not WoK, not WoR, but IAAS(I am a Stick)

Welcome, my fellow nerd! I hope you like this community as much as I do. As a reward for not writing the word Ookla or anything related to it in your username, and entering this amazing society, you will receive a cookie!

By the ending of WoR, I had a lot of favorite characters: Dalinar, Szeth, Kaladin, Adolin, Jasnah, and many more, but there was one character that stood out, and I think all of you agree when I say the Stick is the best character in Stormlight. Now, to the question, I am very intrigued by this character, and I just wanted to know if you would like for the Stick to become a main character in the series. If many of you say it's a good idea, I will make everything I can to suggest Brandon to make the Stick a main PoV character. (Please, do not take this seriously)

"10/10, an absolute masterpiece" IGN This is the best storming literature I've seen in my entire life. You should publish it as a short story, you'll get as famous as Brandon with that.

The only thing I ask for Brandon Sanderson to do is for him to write more chapters in the Stick's perspective. I really think it's a very deep character and I would like to explore his story. If it's possible, I would like for the Stick to be a main PoV character in the back five books, I would really like to see its backstory and its motivations to be a stick. Definitely my favorite character, and I hope it can also be in a cover, I would love that. Anyone else agrees with me?

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Sallin Zeras replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Yeah, I hope to see Steelheart vs. TLR sometime, but everyone knows Reckoners isn't Cosmere. You're getting confused, the one that is Cosmere is Alcatraz. Don Kil Me Ples You know you're a Sanderfan when you see someone with a bracelet on the street and you ask if she/he is a feruchemist. -

@Optima_PrimusWhat welding do you mean, with metal or people? -
I've been wondering, is there going to be an app for the 17th Shard anytime?
-
Yeah, even though I loved Adolin in WoR, I don't think he's going to get any more page time than he did in WoR, actually, I think he might die in the near future, if the Alethi figure out what he's done, they will probably execute him.

I guess it going to be OB, let's just call it OB for now, even though for a reason, I love to write and say the word Oathbringer.
-
That would be cool to see once someone is powerful enough to do it, maybe with the Bands of Mourning.
-
This gave me another question, could TLR push on all of the metals in Scadrial by using duralumin?
-
That's, kind of confusing. What if he does have enough Stormlight? I mean, stuff can be invested twice, at least I think it's possible
-
I have been wondering, if say, Kaladin touches the ground and infuses it ten times to lash it forward, would it cause an earthquake?

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Sallin Zeras replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I'll be sure to say that the next time I'm insulting someone, that will make me feel as a total Sanderfan.
