Very likely. I think the whole Wax and Wayne series have been leading up to this. Since the first chapter with Bloody Tan, and then with Miles, Paalm, Rian, this post made me change my opinion on The Who is Trell question. At first, I thought Trell was Odium, but I was not thinking outside the box. Now, we know that Odium is the Bad Guy in Stormlight and that the Wax and Wayne series take place between Stormlight 5 and Stormlight 6. So, in the scene in which Edwarn is killed, the Faceless Inmortal tells him that Trell now wants to destroy Scadrial. I thought about this for a long time, and I now think that Odium will be splintered in Stormlight 5 and Bavadin will take his power.

When I said that Trell was multiple Shards, I didn't mean as in Harmony, I meant that the identity of Trell has been taken by two or more Shards throught Scadrial's history. Trellagism, the initial Trell religion, was extremely different from Trellism, Trell's religion in Wax and Wayne. So I mean that the Shard that created Trellagism is not the same Shard that invented Trellism

Yes. I'm tired of people no seeing the Stick's true potential. He is the most powerful entity in the Cosmere, that's why it didn't want to change, because that would implicate losing all of its investiture.

Well, here we go. I love Sazed, Kelsier, Kaladin, Adolin, Dalinar. Galladon, Nightblood (is it considered a character?), Wax, Steris, Elend, Marsh, Szeth, and Leras. But honestly, even though I love all of the previously mentioned characters, if I had to choose one, I'd probably choose the Stick.

Yeah, I'm already imagining it in my head. Adolin about to get hanged and Dalinar and Shallan screaming and trying to save him while some guards hold them back. I love Adolin, but I really want this to happen. I don't know why, but it seems like the right thing to do with the story, for me, at least.

Hadn't seen that stuff, thanks for the info. Now that I think about it, Autonomy being Trell makes more sense, even though keep in mind that he wants to destroy Scadrial, so I don't know if that is something related to Autonomy.

He might just start destroying people too. That's exactly what he wants to do in Roshar, so, yeah, he has not affected a planet's population, yet.

But Autonomy's intent does not align with Trell's initial goal. Autonomy is literally the capability of a nation, place, etc. of ruling itself, so I don't think ruling a world would be Bavadin's thing.
