  1. I will be live reacting, so reading through the thread and then typing up my responses as I see posts. I did pull up this cycle first to make sure that I was not dead, and could actually justify typing a bunch up. @Coop772 Well, there are, in fact, a few problems with this. 1. Info: if he was pushing for info, then it got shut down, continuing to stay with it would arouse suspicion, and be fairly useless. If a large amount of the village shoots something down then there is little point in continuing to push for it. 2. Changing to me: He changed to me before I had done anything. So far, not counting this post, I have made 2 posts, 1 of them was only a sentence long post that does not deserve to truly be counted. When he had switched to me I had none nothing. It was a poke vote, do not read too much into it. 3. Village Read: Again, I have posted once. I may be good at crafting lies over just one post. Reserve your judgment on me for a while yet, until you can get more of a read on me. 4. Suspicions: From what I've read of the thread so far, there are very few people who are playing suspicious at all. Nothing is standing out to me as being elim-y, and having your suspicions flop around a lot with little amounts of information is a fairly common thing to do. 5. Information: This game does not have a lot of good suspicions going around, so the best solution, in my mind, is to search for other sources of information. Now, the Independents have a choice, they can message Mail, or they can not, it is up to them on if they trust Mail. I would suggest that if there are any independents who have not already messaged him, then do not. If everyone independent messages him, the elims can convert Mail and he would have access to a large amount of information. Although you do have good points for an elim read, I do not believe that you have enough evidence to say we all need to lynch him, I still have a fairly strong village read of him. The rest of the end of the cycle was Mail and Coop having a quick discussion, largely covering the points listed above, and clarifying things, just seems like useful NAI discussion, with Mail quickly clarifying his suspicions and why. Then Devotary posted, quickly covering lynch candidates, and deciding to vote on Sart for his eagerness to hop on the faction list plan, when seems reasonable to me. Finally, BR came in and officially decided the lynch on Sart, which seems fairly village to me, and I agree that Sart seemed slightly more off than Bard. Onto this cycle! Sart was a child of Karata, and I'm not reading much into the lynch as of this moment. Sart seemed fairly separated, except from Mail, which does not tell us much. The lynch felt very organic, I feel like it easily could have been the elims staying separate from the lynch, and not having to do anything to push it in either direction. The Devotary and BR votes were last second, which will warrant them both another look into, but it did not feel like elims trying to protect a teammate, merely villagers trying to guarantee a lynch. Then there is the Coop attack. and attacks are weird this game, so I do not know much of what to read into it. It could have been someone attempting to implicate Mail, but, unless the Elims got a lucky conversion I do not believe that they have an attack.... I'll go double check rules. Does not seem like the elims have an attack, unless they got the lucky conversion, so either they did and are trying to throw someone (probably Mail), under the bus- which does not seem to effective to me- or a wildman decided that Coop was being suspicious and decided to attack. (or someone like Aanden attacked or another attacking role or.... you get the point). I am more inclined to believe that someone was not the happiest with Coop. You are going back through the thread, but I would like to hear why you have suspicions on these people. To me, at least, most of the votes seemed organic, something that could have come from a villager. The results of who voted on who only matter based off of their reasoning, as most votes will be placed by people who have no idea who is an elim, and the only ones who know are the elims themselves. (hopefully this paragraph makes sense...) This is pretty much the read that I got from BR's posts, and, at the very least, it is consistent with what it appeared to be. I see no small holes that could have happened if BR was an elim, so slightly village read.
  2. We really do need more. I am not going to swing over to Mail, who I have a fairly village read on, with just a 'He's dangerous.' Although, I would love to hear why he is dangerous.
  3. And... my comments on the first page just got deleted. Let's try this again... Sorry, I've been distracted the past few days and never got around to posting, which I should have. So... here goes my reactions to different things in the thread. It originally was going to be a my thoughts as I read things, but that will only be true for pages 1 and 3. Yeah, it could be a win condition for a Hrathen character, or just a everyone loses/draw mechanic. Either could be interesting. (Hope you start feeling better soon (if you haven't already)) Your reasoning is sound, though not really indicative of alignment. I could see either a Villager or a Elim making the same decision in your place. I could see justification for them not converting, if they have a team that is currently flying completely under the radar, and they believe that they will be able to keep that up, then converting at this point could just add in another thread leading back to the Spirit group. Good point. Mainly quoting this to reiterate this. I think we should assume that, at max, 1 cycle can be dropped every cycle. We should view this as a 5 cycle countdown timer for now, just to be safe. Very interesting question at the end there, that I see being a very villager question. I could see an Elim asking this question if there is a lot of talk about different Roles going on, and bringing it up before someone else does so that they seem Villagery, but there was little to no talk of roles going on, so it makes me lean slightly village on you. Interesting light on Mail's (storms your name is hard to read, too many Is and ls (i's and L's)) question. It could be a ploy to try and get the village confused by how results work and hope for an easy miss-lynch, but I'm not getting that vibe from it. You've been rather quiet as well (as have I), what are your thoughts on this cycle? Yet to meet you, Terminal (Can't call you Meta, so...) Welcome to SE! (even though you've already played a game besides this one...) Even if you don't have any direct suspicions, for cycle two at least we really need to get some information from a lynch. I'd like to know your reasoning for voting on Xino, even if it is a gut read, RNG, or just due to inactivity. Reasoning for the vote would be awesome. Thanks! Bard's post seem very in tune with how I've seen Bard play, and makes sense to me, even if I don't necessarily agree with it. I personally think that we should have had a lynch D1 (sorry I didn't vote at all), but it is a generally good argument to see how the game plays out with conversions. All in all, I do not have any form of an elim read on Bard from the post you quoted. I partially agree with you there. The big problem comes from Bandwagons, especially bandwagons where people can just jump on without having to give much of an explanation of their vote. Now, I'm not accusing you of doing that, just pressure of two votes is pretty good, just pointing out now that we do not want that type of bandwagon to happen. It would be awesome if you did. You have posted fairly little, and more voices is almost always going to help the village. I agree that Xino should say more, but I do not think that it is worth lynching him over it at this point, from previous games this is how he normally plays, and I do not believe that it would be productive to lynch him today. The switch made sense. I believe his first vote was simply a fairly random poke vote, and then, once faced with a a lynch candidate that he agreed with, he switched to voting for the. Pretty much what I figured. I do not believe that you'll have to hold your vote in the future, you tried to make something happen in that moment, and then adjusted once new evidence came up. I'll make one up. BR(1): Alvron Xino(0): Fifth Scholar, Terminal Terminal(1): Kipden Bard(2): Terminal, Cadmium Elandra(0): BR Straw(1): Drought And you posted this just before mine... mines better For now I will be putting my vote on Straw (@Straw), you have been innactive, and your only posts are about the game as a whole, and not individual suspicions, and seems slightly like an avoidance tactic, which I'm inclined to at least put a vote on you to get you to start posting, and put out your suspicions. You have at least had time to read the thread, as you have posted at least once so I would like to see at least some of your thoughts. Gonna make a vote for that? Also @Jaddeth in the Bush Seriously, DroughtDrinker? Come on man, I thought we were friends.
  4. I quite enjoyed it, and would play it again if it came around.
  5. Well no one said anything, and we're running out of time. @Herowannabe I accuse CadCom using a Rifle and leaving behind Hoofprints I picture a horse based hunting accident, the hunting being a necessity, and then shooting him in the head which leaves the clothes only slightly untidy.
  6. My current best guess would be CadCom, Rifle + Footprints, I'll be around a lot today, any thoughts?
  7. I can think of a point of view that this does in fact make sense, and why, but I think that would ruin the fun of it.
  8. I mean, using Booby Trap again might be the perfect cover for murder.
  9. Unless, of course, Elandra is the witness...
  10. Well, I guess our best bet now would be to do as much of an IKYK as possible to try and throw the elims off of everyone's trail. The less likely we make it for them to figure it out the better. Anyone want to claim to be the Witness?
  11. I don't think you understand. I am In. (Totally didn't just come up with this)
  12. I'd like to sign up to spectate. I would make time for this if I could, in any way, but I can not. Still sounds like an amazing game, though!
  13. Wait! There are multiple of me's? And I make people ill? Really wish I could play this game, but, for now, I'll just sign up for a spec doc.
  14. Hold on, if you don't know about this yet, it will be quite a ride. Sanderson has created a beautiful creation called the Cosmere; it is a set of interconnected worlds, where each story is independent, but characters from other worlds show up in fairly random places. The 'twin swords' are not twin, they are literal same sword, Nightblood. It is not only taking breaths or Stormlight, it is taking Investiture, or the magical energy behind both Breaths and Stormlight. Look more throughout the Shard, or ask questions here and I, or anyone else who stumbles upon this thread will answer it for you. Look for Hoid everywhere Also, here is a good place to read: https://coppermind.net/wiki/Cosmere Edit: Also, good job finding out about part of the Cosmere by yourself! I had to have it explained to me before I sensed any part of a connection between books of the Cosmere.
  15. You're a lover? I missed that. I apologize, removing vote Rae Aren't ties bad for the village this game? I don't have time to check rules but... they're not good, right? And, because I really don't want to die jsit as I become active... I am Xino's lover. Please don't kill me, or us. I'm an actor, hes a tinker. If this goes through we both die. but I do need a vote, even though I think this is how Arin plays, it's better to lose an inactive than someone who is contributing and might be an elim, but could be village, and better than losing two villagers, and I don't know enough about the bard lynch to get behind that.
  16. This is kinda how Arinian plays, don't think too much into it. Beyond that, although it does annoy me (I hate people voting on themselves) probably not lynchable, in Arinian's case. [Response here] (Really tempted to just send that, but I'll be nice) Probably really shouldn't just be random voting at this point in the game, as we're four cycles in and we want to try and make sure all of our votes count. Generally I would expect Alv to be saying more in the game, or, at the very least, to have been more creepy, and the fact that he isn't being creepy is throwing me off slightly, but I don't see Elim!Alv being less creepy than normal I agree with Eternum's defense of Arinian, and have a slight village read on him I tentatively trust Fifth, simply because he reminded us that I am a lover, must elims probably wouldn't bring that up and just claim they forgot if that was brought up. As for elim reads, don't have any at the moment, but I will toss a vote on Rae, slightly bad gut read on her, but no idea why. Rae
  17. *pokes head in* Sorry, been busy. I have finally made time, literally canceled plans at this point, to make more time for the game. I guess I'll start playing now based off of what we know. We know that Elandera and Wonko were on a team (Assuming that I remember the rules correctly), so interactions between the two of them should be the most telling, as it would have (probably) been at least semi scripted. So I'm going to quickly scan when they were both alive and see if they communicated at all, in thread. Wonko: Really just a fluff interaction, but even appears to be distancing through RP. More apparent distancing through RP And then... Elandra was dead, so there was no interactions between the two of them after that. Because I have limited time, at the moment, I will just say what I am planning on doing. I will be going through Wonko's interactions between the rest of the players and see if there were any other Distancing attempts (RP or otherwise) made, and see if there is anything else that point towards those people playing elim-like. If that doesn't work then I will spend time just analyzing living people.
  18. Sorry, I forgot that this game was running... I will be finishing up what I'm doing now (shouldn't take more than an hour) then go through last cycles thread, and see what's up/
