  1. What does The final empire and pokemon have in common? Too much ash!
  2. Yeah, sorry Kingsdaughter613, but I don't consider that person a main character, even though I do agree with you about the impact.
  3. Mistborn...he apparently did not finish it...book three, two, or one. (Also rithmatist he does not kill main character off...yet. Also legion, no real main one dies yet. And stormlight, again yet. The short stories. Alcatraz... yet. Emperors soul. But i agree that in all his finished more mature series, he kills off characters. Not because he likes to, but he needs to for plot.)
  4. I think that guessing the fifth ideal is pointless and impossible without guessing the fourth. From my experience, after the first one, each ideal builds on the previous one, which makes logical sense for moral reasons. Do try figuring out the fourth before leaping to the final ideal.
  5. I asked my friend if he likes brandon sanderson and he said no since he NEVER kills off main characters...Hahaha.
  6. I knew all of these....I guess that is what happens when you read a book over 30 times (not an exaggeration). It is my favorite book. However, saying Fjon isn't exactly correct since he lived afterword, until Dilaf struck a few final blows. Yes, he probably would have died, but I think that if someone mentioned Dilaf, he should get credit too. Although saying both would be the fully correct answer.
  7. I was also thinking of limelight but discounted it due to thinking that it just glowed instead of flamed. Thanks.
  8. Okay. W.W. but so what??? I dont get your point. I am sorry.
  9. In emperors soul we come across a reference to anthracite, a rock that can burn Can this possibly be the same burning rocks that we find in elantris at lord telriis party?? Hmm...
  10. So if anyone has the tenth anniversary edition of elantris, you will see a map in the beginning of the book that shows the land of arelon and it shows that its split into different sections named after aons (or before). However on the top right and bottom left are two sections both named eon. Is it a mistake or was it intentionally done and signifies something important?
  11. So from this response, do you think he had a body?
  12. So, we have seen in the past that when a shards mind is destroyed, the person is visible when he or she dies, like in mistborn, but the shards remains (also i guess if splintered a dead body would appear, although no vonfirmation yet i don't recall). So my question is, if Adonalsium would be destroyed that way (or maybe also the current way), would a body have appeared, a physical vessel? I theorize yes, but what about everyone else?
  13. Funny and possible but not likely in my opinion. Brandon doesn't like bringing characters to life often, and while gramdpas death was spontaneous, atticas wasn't so he wouldn't have been able to break through to his talent. Plus, we finished his character arc so there wad no more use for him. Bringing him back would ruin his sacrifice. However, i hope you are right because i wanted more out of attica and i liked him.
  14. I saw a WoB that stated that someone burning atium wouldn't see an aluminum spear or bullet or anything with a future shadow. Why is that? Is doesn't make sense to me. With that in mind, also other metals can't effect aluminum either. Why not? I understand it's allomantically inert. but why?
  15. I finally finished the book. The end. Spoiler (not really), the ending of this book will make you very, very sad. But to make up for that, the real spoilers are down below. All i all, I really enjoyed the book although I called the ending about who the traitor was (but not who it really was) and how Attica snuck into the Highbrary. The ending is a little ambiguous about what the ritual actually does and exactly how the mechanics of the whole smedry history came to be. But when carefully reread, it made more sense. But a question arises: What was the method to create the smedry line? Was it the ritual? The talent circle isn't further explained. We don't know what the dark talent actually was. Do we?
