  1. I just remembered, Shardblades can be Pushed on, but they are so Invested that it is normally impossible. TLR, however, is not normal. Also, am I the only one who finds it amusing that this discussion has moved from a Herald v. KRs to TLR v. KRs? How about a Herald (or all of them) v. TLR?
  2. Perhaps a savant could do so. A non-savant, probably not. Either way, I'm sure it would take practice, and having only one Allomantic power would allow a Misting to focus on that.
  3. The only thing I have a mild issue with is this (for now). IIRC, Lift's hands and feet keep their friction, and a KR with Abrasion (or really any Surge) wouldn't need to grab TLR. They could just cut him with their Shardblade.
  4. Lopen. As has been mentioned, he was a king. And he's funny. Also, is anybody there? I think that the crowd left the stadium...
  5. Hm... maybe Dominion payed a visit to Roshar a long time ago? Seems unlikely to me, due to the "spite" part, but there is definitely something going on here (that goes without saying, I guess). Perhaps the Unmade and Parshendi gods are two different things. But the Unmade are Splinters of Odium, so I think that they are the Parshendi gods.
  6. I believe Sanderson also said that he won't make death insignificant in the Cosmere. I don't recall hearing about Sazed learning to return souls to bodies, but it makes sense due to what we've already seen, such as the Returned on Nalthis. I don't think his Intent will allow him to do it much, so people won't suddenly become immortal on Scadrial. About the healing fabrial, there probably aren't many left, but Edgedancers can heal, as well, so death can become temporary for some of the main characters, but people need to be revived shortly after dying, and if a Surgebinder dies, it is possible that they will lose their powers due to their Nahel bond being broken (that's just my guess, I'm not sure what would happen), so it won't be without consequence. About POVs in the afterlife (cognitive shadows and the like), it could actually make things more interesting. But we'll see.
  7. Does this look like a face to you? It's a little to the left of the three sand masters (roughly in the middle of the picture). It's made of stone rather than clouds (sorry for forgetting to say that in the first place).
  8. @Eki, I believe you are referring to when he is using a Steelpush. The speeding up is theorized to be his "effect" from being Twinborn. Also, in BoM, while at the Set's hideout, it is stated that he is slightly weakened by storing weight, or something to that effect.
  9. This is what I think will happen. After all, didn't Shallan find a drawing of a Voidbringer that looked similar to a chasmfiend?
  10. Sazed, especially if he has some attributes stored.
  11. This more or less refutes what you said.
  12. Gaz has no powers. Vin has a lot.
  13. I would try experimenting by incorporating a Line of Revocation into the design, perhaps by making an army of stickmen holding Revocation spears.
  14. Granted. You get the most beautiful, durable boots in the world, that are able to kick someone in full Shardplate halfway across a room. Your bane is that their size is too small for you. I wish for their to be an important Gasper Ferring in one Mistborn book who can use his power very creatively.
  15. Do you really want to open that can of worms?
  16. So, if Lopen really is Kaladin's squire, then Stormlight, even without Regrowth, can heal a lot more than I thought. And King T being a Bondsmith... I'm not sure if he's the type of person for it. After all, he's done quite a few bad things, though for the "greater good." Perhaps he's a better fit for another order.
  17. Well, Unmade are of Odium, so I doubt it, but someone on another thread had pointed out this possibility already, so it may be more likely than I think. It would certainly be interesting.
  18. I don't know if Stormlight can heal that much by itself. I think Lopen's an Edgedancer. But perhaps he really is a squire. I believe this has been discussed before, and it does seem like a possibility, but I don't know what "godspren" Eshonai could bond with.
  19. The medallion was not for Feruchemical gold.
  20. I don't think possession will be too powerful, but we'll find out if Mr. Sanderson ever decides to include a character who can do that. It would certainly be interesting.
  21. This will probably happen eventually, but perhaps Kaladin will get to explain himself before Shallan tries to kill him. It would definitely make it harder for them to fight alongside each other, though Shallan is more of a scholar, anyway.
  22. Back to Rasarr's post about gold shadows possibly possessing people, it makes me think about how strong emotional Allomancy can be used to control Hemalurgic constructs. Maybe gold shadows really can possess anyone, though, especially if they're storing Identity. I myself think that it's possible that every Allomantic metal may be able to do things that are not widespread knowledge yet.
  23. No. (You didn't say that was what you wished for. Mwahaha.) I wish for a farm in which I grow giant (organic) tomatoes that make me rich. Who needs genetically engineered food when you have magic?
  24. Granted. You also get poisoned by plum bob. (I wonder if this reference will get me any upvotes... and it seems it did. Excellent.) I wish for the ability to burn bendalloy, and for an unlimited supply of it. And I want to be able to actually use that bendalloy, so that no curses can nullify the boon.
