So far as we know it, its been roughly 7,000 - 9,000 years since the shattering. Brandon has not canonised this yet. He did confirm though that the Shards intent warps the vessel, but from the vessels view of said Shards intent. However if the vessel gives up the Shard or ends up dying and becomes a Sliver in the CR... They slowly lose the pull and history of said intent over time. Not fully eradicating the intent but becoming more the pre-vessel, aka the by-law (personality) as opposed to The Law (Shards intent).

Just like my shard blade example. Honor has manipulated its investiture so it would be more difficult to manipulate. Harder still with Cultivation around. But it can be done. As the shard blade is twisted/manipulated by Honor, but made from Uncle Andy aka all 16 shards.

The way i see investiture assignment is this, take a handful of investiture. All 16 shards own 100% of said handful of investiture equally. Each shard can manipulate the whole handful in their own way. Just cause a shard blade is of Honor, does not mean Odium cannot manipulate it. Its just harder when another shard has put their hand in its creation. But unattended investiture, free game.

I dont think there will be an overall bad guy. I think the Cosmere end game is Hoids mission. Then we get the prequels Dragon Steel. I think its called. Which will show us Hoids context.

Uncle Andy's CS is the corpse we call the CR. Etc etc (Not being serious, but kinda am).

Take into mind i am starting RoW in the next few days, so no spoilers. Nice and quick cause i dont have time and i just came to me. The black orb Galinar gave Dalinar, was that a Dawnshard? Unity? His three realm clap, was that just his connection to Honor through the Stormfather? Or does he have the Dawnshard Unity? Combined with the intent of Honor allowed him to do that?

Isnt there a WoB saying theres no other God like Uncle Andy. The opposing force is highly implied to the the weapon and the group who shattered Uncle Andy. Plus determinism doesnt negate this.

Is Uncle Andy the symbolic being of Determinism. Spren could not bond in those days, cause thats how Uncle Andy saw it. It foresaw its death and got angry, then sad. Uncle Andy could have stopped this, yes? so why allow it to happen? Maybe Uncle Andy couldnt, cause its death was how it saw things. Determinism, Uncle Andy was a force without freewill. ... And its turtles all the way down.

I think its all on purpose. The Cosmere works the way it does cause thats the way Uncle Andy saw it. The Shards can change things but their bound by some unknown set of rules. Uncle Andy died, cause thats how he saw it. And whats being played out since its death is exactly how Uncle Andy saw it. As Sidious would say;

Ok so im half a bottle of Jimmy in... from the novella Dawnshard, we see that... Hoid killed Uncle Andy!!! Who was Gods Pope of the Cosmere. He was manipulated and Uncle Andy died. And when he/she/it realised what was happening it thought... And if Change has been hidden for unknown ages, is this because Odium used the Change Dawnshard to create the unmade? ... edit On another note, what would happen if a Shard picked up a Dawnshard? Would they scream BANKAI!!!! ...edit. The 4 Dawnshards: 1. Change. 2. Fortune. 3. Destiny. 4. ???

Currently rewatching The Matrix for the coming forth movie... Cant help but think Brandon used the model for the The Oracle, as Cultivation's Intent. Thoughts?

What happens if you shoot a radiant in armour with an aluminium bullet? (If gun powder isnt an issue on Roshar). What would happen if you used molten aluminium on enemies? Small and big batches... splash damage across the battle field.

I was getting at the Land. Aka part of the planet. The Dor being proto aware is new to me. Wonder what he means by dom and dev have a vessel but not like the other shards. Does that mean the Stormfather had a vessel before Tanavast?

We know part of the planet is becoming aware. If it does, and it picks up the Dor...

Didnt Brandon say theres something big going on in the Cosmere that we are not aware of yet. On a Shard level. I think this big unknown is the final enemy. Fainlife???
