Have we not been hyperactively posting here xD Anyway @Matrim's Dice how do you think Wiz’s posts/playstyle here compares to that in LG90? Just skimmed through the first few turns of that game and Wiz seems a lot more disconnected and uninterested in game-solving there

Diversifying options TUN he has been pretty consistently online and posted twice this cycle without having expressed any views on anyone so… Probably turning in for the night now but this time I’ll be back before the cycle ends

Tbh I want to know where Fifth and Hael stand with regards to each other and whether they are willing to bus each other. Neither is here at the moment though. Do you have anybody in mind?

I think it’s worth asking for their opinions on xino @InfiniteInsanity @ExoticAlmond what are your thoughts on Xino? he has made one post so you can form an opinion quicker. If you’ve skimmed through the last cycle I’d also like to hear your thoughts on Haelbarde. I think Silvereye has checked out again

Hmm Has your opinion on Aman changed? He did say he was on a flight, so I’m assuming he is busier at the moment as well so you’re right that it could easily have come from either alignment xD My life would be a lot easier if Xino posted a reads list @xinoehp512 just one village and one elim read would suffice if you’re busy I have to keep fighting the urge to ping Silvereye again. Patience.

Devo/Silvereye not E/E? Villagers are Wiz, Kas, Bookwyrm, Devo and let’s throw Aman in there for funzies. List is unordered. So elims are among TUN, Silvereye, Xino, Nerdy, Insanity, Hael, Almond, Mat, Fifth That’s too many people, so removing Nerdy temporarily for reasons outlined previously and Almond and Insanity for being absent: TUN, Silvereye, xino, Hael, Mat, Fifth List is still too long but. It’s 1 am and I’m not comfortable with the state of the votes right now

True. But this is something we've already seen E!xino do, to be fair. So it doesn't count as him making a conscious effort to post more. I think Archivist's situation was slightly different for the reasons you've noted here, yeah. Archivist's vote seemed more overtly opportunistic. Tbh I think Bookwyrm village after all Yeah I definitely did not intend to end the cycle as a non-voter. I planned to look for other options in maybe Mat/Silver or something, I hadn't decided yet. I wasn't thinking about Wiz all that much at that juncture and I would not have joined your train. Perhaps the elims sent in the kill as soon as they identified JNV as IC/Winzik off that post about rereading rules, patted themselves on the back, saw that the lead train plus counter train were village (again assuming v!you), and called it a day. As in, they might not have been around EoD when Danex received more votes - if the state of the votes they last saw was when you were the leading train, then they wouldn't really have thought too much about JNV's flip narrowing things down. I mostly just wanted to vote Hael there cuz he was online and I knew he would respond - and he did. But thanks for reminding me @Ookla Carried by the Wind has not said anything this cycle. That was more-or-less my impression of them C1, except swap 'to join the train' out for 'to contribute through a vote'. Trouble is I'm unsure of how to read it, even if I'm leaning every so slightly in the positive direction. Tbh I don't think I have ever posted an accurate vote count in SE history If Wiz/Aman are E/E I will throw hands U_U I think that might've been Archer actually.

The math is not mathing (The math is not mathing ) Hard to break the quote down since I’m on mobile right now but while I agree that it’s not easy to change one’s entire attitude towards an alignment they dislike, but I would still expect at least some level of effort being made to address the tell. That V!Xino post from MR60 you’ve linked was very late-game, during the last cycle in fact where I was more or less elim confirmed from PoE so I think that level of engagement is fine there. If Aman is evil he is probably not lying here. :notlikethis: They are null + for me because I’d expect E!Nerdy’s teammates to advise them on their vote on you - like how it’s bound to attract suspicion towards Nerdy because of how it did kind of feed off Fifth’s comments iirc and because they didn’t present reasons of their own. TWTBAW but since I’m reconsidering my Xino read I’m more open to Nerdy being evil now.

I was testing to see whether Bookwyrm would grab the lifeline I was handing them by immediately confirming that that was indeed the case without checking to see that the game does not exist. Yeahhh Idk, I will say that I'm not exactly elim reading TUN but I rescind my village read. I don't see why I wouldn't! Just to test the hypothesis. But the more important question is: does E!xino, having read the dead doc going on and on about inactivity being an E!xino tell, immediately go into inactivity in his next elim game? I want to say no to that tbh. This is impacting my xino read. Okay this is satisfactory I guess but I'm keeping an eye on you ;eye; Don't see why you can't be elim still but... Silvereye where are you? ;-;

This is very interesting. @Ookla the Perpetual what exactly were you referring to when you said 'than what I've seen him do in the past'? Perhaps you were referring to MR62 where Dannex was village and did little to deflect suspicion, in stark contrast to their defensiveness against votes yesterday? Wait why is that? I didn't really think of it as self-pres because Elk would've voted on Bookwyrm if he ever came online since voting xino would not have saved Elk, and also Tani hadn't voted yet. Idk xino didn't really say a word in the doc that turn I didn't think he was too worried. I read the posts from previous games you cited - I don't think I should be village reading them for encouraging mechanics discussion. That, plus TUN not voting at all after the Mat retraction and subsequently not providing any reads/opinions on other players at all this cycle either. Devo's statement about e!Fifth pushing Dannex didn't make a lot of sense to me (since Fifth was not pushing Dannex, as he points out) and like personally if I wanted to distance myself from a teammate I would do it in a way that made more sense? xD It feels like a genuine misunderstanding on Devo's part which I don't expect happens in a Fifth/Devo E/E world. Loving all the questions Keep em coming. But I've explained my stance on Silvereye, Hael and xino. I'm side-eyeing Mat due to his vote on me because I have a suspicion that he's doing that because I pointed out in LG90 that he wasn't as paranoid of me as I would expect from V!Mat. But it's just a gut feeling for now. Hmmm okay fair enough on the Dannex vote, but one question: If someone had asked you to explain why you had JNV in your village tiers last cycle, how would you have responded?

Yeah, slightly side-eyeing Aman for the same but less intensely since Hael brought it up. Hi! Looking forward to thoughts yes. Declaring that Devo/Fifth are not E/E.

I think there's a minimum of one elim among the Dannex voters and a maximum of one elim among the Kas voters. I say max one elim because no elim in their right mind would vote there alongside a teammate, bringing both of them to the spotlight unnecessarily. I'm inclined to trust Kas for now so that leaves me with <Aman, Silvereye, Hael> and <Nerdy, xino> as pools for potential elims. The xino vote is notable because it is strongly reminiscent of his D2 vote in LG91 - if I assume v!Kas for a second (I don't think an elim self-votes like that, inviting more people to jump on the wagon, it's too risky for a D1), we can say that the main trains were V/V - the leading train at EoD in LG91 was village, and then xino came in to to place a vote on one of the second largest trains. 4/5 trains there were village with the remaining train being on xino himself, having accumulated 2 votes. He was arguably not in any real danger since the leading train had 4 votes and the other three village trains had 2 votes each. My point is, xino was absent from the thread for that entire turn and only showed up to place that vote on a side-train, which really did not serve the purpose of consolidating the exe or even self-pres. Essentially his choice of vote steered clear of engaging with the eventual flip while also making the conscious decision to place a vote anyway. It seems extremely similar to the way he voted last cycle. So I'm open to a xino exe, and for what it's worth I'm reading Nerdy as null+ at the moment because of their vote, its timing, and their justification. Of the <Aman, Silvereye, Hael> group I want to look at Silvereye first - who said that they thought their one post was very villagery? >> I think it was Mat? Anywho I don't agree, in fact I think that post was extremely suspicious - it instigated my vote retraction and made me very stressed for a while. Here let me pull it up for reference: I'd really like to hear more from @Ookla Carried by the Wind because I hesitate to vote on them based off just this post. I do want to ask Hael why he voted for Dannex because as far as my (admittedly rushed) reread can tell, he never actually criticised Dannex nor did he flag any of his posts as suspicious so I'm curious to know why he voted there. Was it just to save Kas? Why did you want to save Kas? Kas was in your 'Baddish' vibes list, along with Dannex. And this is slightly too well thought-out for my comfort. I would like to know if everyone picked up on this from JNV's post. As a villager I was consciously on the look-out for any IC tells so I could make better informed votes - no doubt that I am dumb for not noticing this, but if I had I probably would have voted for JNV to see who else jumped on the wagon or I would've thrown some healthy suspicion at JNV to steer the elim kill away from them. Also Winzik removed Bookwyrm's vote? Can they do that?

Vote Count: Kas (2): Dannnnnex, Kas Dannnnnex (3): Stick, JNV, Bookwyrm Mat(1): Fifth Wiz(1): Aman I think I feel OK but that the state of the votes. Thoughts on Fifth? Does Hael stand out to you either way? The Dannex counter wagon is technically Kas, who you have a positive read on. Wiz has a vote. I'm not too opposed to a Wiz exe. I know you said you don't have a read on Wiz but would you hate to exe them today?

Oh cool what game was this? I shall check it out too. Oh no...the last time you said this you were elim xD I'm scared now. This is not Wiz's second game? Never let 'em know your next move This post of yours very big and nice but where are you planning to vote? To summarise, you have a positive read on Dannex, negative (but notably non-committal) read on TUN, positive read on Kas, negative read on Aman and neutral on Wiz. So will you be voting TUN/Aman today? I think that this paragraph is very much stating the obvious and is an attempt to appear helpful But re: bolded part, I would argue that analysis in-thread is more useful than in that document because with everyone chiming in, the village has more information to analyse upon flips. Plus since elims can see the discussions in the IC doc they will more easily be able to form a defence for themselves early on, not to mention it'll be glaringly obvious when people bring up the same analysis in-thread (to justify their votes/persuade others to vote alongside them) that the elims have seen in the IC doc. Edit: I'm pretty sure he meant to write Fifth there - Devo had responded to Kas for Fifth when Kas asked Fifth for elaboration regarding his stance on me

Bad gut feeling about this post. I took a look at LG90 for E!Dannex tells as well - I don't know if I'd say they're being more serious now, but what do you think about their defensiveness here? Kas noted that Dannex tends be defensive as elim. Edit: Nope I misread that post so Kas didn't say that but curious to know what you make of Dannex's defensiveness anyway
