  1. I've been doing some thinking in my GM PM .................................. I want to skip to the Aftermath of this game tbh tbh You can have this: I was kinda hoping xino would die to the filter today. No hard feelings xino but like...yeah TUN I really just don't understand, but they could be the 'active' elim I guess even though they haven't really been that active at all That was different I think this game design does favour the elims so I'd hypothesised three elims, for balance. Don't you have to be paying close attention to the game to be able to do that,,,,,,,,,,,,, I didn't think about the four animals thing, that is so sad for Devo. He made the conscious choice to let Silver die despite many of us prodding him to vote anywhere at all?
  2. Opinion on bookwyrm? And Almond. Based off their posts or votes whichever is quicker idc but an opinion would be nice
  3. But Hael’s posts…they make sense as village,……….. I’ve convinced myself that Mat is village. Locking this in forever. Let us kill nerdy today
  4. I am thinking ………………………………………………………………………………………………………
  5. Your dream says otherwise
  6. Idk, Kas is right about bussing being probably the optimal play for elims this game and E!Aman should have done it. After reading that post and the second half in particular (break down of C2) V!Aman made more sense. But anyway, E!Stick would not have moved off Aman - he wanted to die and I would’ve given it to him while also using my night kill to kill an IC suspect. I moved off him for selfish reasons - in my mind he was village and I did not want to waste the village’s only weapon on this. I’m also wondering why we’re still alive and I don’t know if these night kills make sense coming from an inactive team. I had some game-related dream as well but I don’t remember it
  7. Even though they tried to kill you C2? edit: And even though they strongly defended xino C3?
  8. I don't think neither of them are evil, just that they aren't teamed with you in particular because voting patterns. Since you're here, can you share your reads of: Bookwyrm, TUN, and Almond? If you had to put them in a Good/Bad bucket, no neutrals. Just off the top of your head.
  9. In case you missed the edit ^ e!Xino not voting to save himself is explainable by e!Mat's shift to Fifth. I don't remember if xino was online during EoD but he was not on for a decent chunk of last cycle. Edit: From my perspective the only possible Silver bussers are Hael or you - I don't think e!you brings this up in the first place, and if Hael wanted to bus I don't see why he didn't drive the exe more strongly instead of flipflopping on Silver for the first half of C2 and only reluctantly voting on them when he did (and I think his reasoning for it makes sense - that Silver's comments about the Winzik claims were either telling of winzik!silver or e!silver and Hael couldn't decide which exactly). So while I agree that bussing is more rewarding in this game, I doubt we've seen a busser yet. Edit2: Mat is only an elim if xino is an elim, otherwise his vote switch last cycle makes no sense from an elim perspective. E!xino =/= E!Mat and V!xino = V!Mat Very overtly village reading Mat, should be noted. Does e!Xino do this? Looking at this post again in light of Bookwyrm's Fifth vote over xino, I can see them paired. Edit3: E!xino world: <Silver, xino, Bookwyrm> with an optional <Mat> V!xino world: <Silver, Nerdy, Almond, TUN/Hael?> I'm having trouble constructing a team in a v!xino world - because I keep ending up putting newer players in that team, I think v!xino almost definitely means a 4-player elim team. Could consider E!Insanity but in a v!Aman world their C3 vote makes no sense only because Insanity didn't bother with a reason (AFAIR is was just 'I forgot why but they're sus'). I don't think it's unlikely for E!Insanity to vote v!Aman but I'd like to think that E!Insanity would come up with a reason, however flimsy, to justify the vote.
  10. I'm surprised, sorry Fifth As promised I've reconsidered Hael - reread his C1 and C2 posts but I'm still leaning village. I'll quickly check out the elim doc of the Jedi MR to see if he expressed the desire to bus or not. I'm not completely sold on V!Mat and still think that last post C2 was slightly indicative of TMI Bookwyrm is not elims with Nerdy and neither is xino Mat can be teamed with Nerdy or Bookwyrm but not both Edit: And Mat can be teamed with xino I'm open to voting xino today but I don't understand why he would vote to save Silver C3 but not vote to save himself last cycle.
  11. They were village read by most people in thread yesterday so I suspect that’s why they’re dead. If the elim team consists of only lower active players/inactive people I would have one hundred percent expected a louder player to have died to the NK. If a louder player exists on the elim team, they want to continue blending in and not narrow the pool down by killing the others. edit: Additionally Wiz was a non-voter C1 so killing them also reveals less information about the C1 voting wtr alignments
  12. E!Fifth means I’ll probably go after Nerdy next but don’t wanna lock that in or anything and in a V!Fifth world I’ll be forced to reconsider Hael because nothing else really makes sense. But Hael was maybe a little too forthcoming with the JNV thing. Or perhaps that’s exactly what he wants us to think. edit: it’s 5 am so I’m going to sleep for now, but personally I don’t see the benefit in wasting the exe on Aman today when we’ve got better options. I don’t want to force Aman to continue playing if he doesn’t want to so perhaps a pinch hitter can be considered if he survives this exe and doesnt die to the elim kill. I don’t mind leaving today’s exe at a tie like I said.
  13. Oh yeah no you can switch votes however many times you want until rollover which is over 6 hours from now.
  14. Vote Count: Aman(4): Mat, Fifth, Aman, Almond Fifth(2): TUN, Stick Xino(1): Nerdy Nerdy(1): Kas @ExoticAlmond what do you think about moving to Nerdy now, given your earlier post? Like I said, I'm OK with switching to Nerdy but I would personally prefer to resolve the <Fifth, Mat> pool first - if we all agree that Hael, Kas, Aman, Devo, and myself are villagers, then who was really even around to pick up on the JNV IC tell other than either Fifth or Mat. I'm perhaps inclined to agree with Kas that Mat isn't in his elim meta so it only leaves Fifth. I suppose you could argue that JNV was simply a lucky shot for the elims and that they hadn't actually noticed the thing but then, killing JNV is an odd choice in and of itself, and also I struggle to see a balanced elim team without at least one actively contributing player in it.
  15. The real question is, did you want to Not a good look in the long run Maybe all Of us want to vote Nerdy out ? @NerdyAarakocra why do you find the Aman train sus?
  16. Okay. Okay Vote Count: Aman(5): Mat, Fifth, Aman, Kas, Almond Fifth(2): TUN, Stick Xino(1): Nerdy We can attempt to tie the votes if people want, and Winzik can deal with it if they wish to. Will note that the first thing Fifth said today was: He was paranoiding Kas for the past two cycles and the Kas vote was the tie-breaker but Fifth's first post only notes Hael as being cleared off that exe - not wrong that Hael is all but cleared, but I can see the comment reflecting elim state of mind because from E!Fifth's PoE I think Hael's vote was when E!Fifth would have accepted Silvereye's fate. There was no attempt from Fifth to move votes after Hael's vote, and before Hael's vote Silver was not in the lead, so Fifth's vote jumps being inconsequential maybe doesn't matter.
  17. First thing I'm noticing is the Mat/Aman conversations from C5 of that game being insanely similar to this cycle's interactions between the two o.O The part quoted from this post is identical to the self-vote post at the top of page 2 from this cycle: And: :thonk: Deja vu Aman Edit: If Aman flips elim the remaining PoE is probably <xino, insanity, almond, TUN>. Shouldn't be too hard. Will want to look at insanity first, because of that Aman vote that came out of the blue last cycle. It's classic distancing.
  18. Oh I should clarify that I don’t think Aman and Nerdy are E/E. IMO one flipping red should mean the other is village.
  19. Nerdy has consistently avoided voting on the main trains every cycle I don’t think it’s unwarranted paranoia, I’ve been prodding Nerdy for precisely the same reason
  20. Your reasoning was: As Mat pointed out, Xino only really made one post I don’t disagree that Xino looks a bit suspicious but I just wanna understand your train of thought better. Kas’ post today is based off vote analysis but you’ve been suspicious of Xino since last cycle.
  21. If Aman was not an option for today, who would your second strongest lead be? edit: @NerdyAarakocra what makes Xino particularly worrying?
  22. With my vote being cast 41 seconds before rollover and yours 5 seconds before Szeth's post, I do wonder about Aman's comment regarding not feeling the need to switch back to Silvereye. That's a good point, in that it does not leave a lot of time for processing the votes in the first place. One could argue that my vote would've given him some reaction time because 41 seconds is a lot by EoD standards - but like you point out, my vote only tied the votes and didn't actually put Silvereye in the lead. Aman could not have anticipated your vote switch. I take this to mean that you would not have been alright with a Nerdy/Silvereye tie?
  23. I agree. Ultimately I am okay with exeing any of these three today. This is Mat's last post from C2: Does this not give off a hint of TMI regarding Silvereye's flip? It almost sounds as if Mat is ready to pounce on Aman as soon as the next cycle is up. Point in Mat's favour is that Aman's Nerdy vote in hindsight looks really bad, though I'll admit that in that moment I was not super excited for a Silvereye flip either and was briefly considering other avenues as well (i.e. my TUN vote). I will be surprised if Mat and Aman are E/E but at the same I wouldn't put it past them. I think. Point in Aman's favour is that I am having trouble seeing E!Aman say this: And Fifth...idk >> I just finished rereading the EoD and I think some of his posts sound pretty decently genuine, but there are others that kind of don't, like this one: Might take a quick look at an E!Fifth game - only one that comes to mind is LG74 but it'd be nice if there was one more recent.
  24. I think Aman brought up the willingness to pursue more active and responsive exe targets But to be fair Silver could have simply read that post and taken it as incentive to not respond. That does sound like a fun CR xD
  25. Lmao. There is at least one Elim involved yes I actually don’t think I want to clear Nerdy - Mat moved off that train and Fifth avoided it. If Aman flips elim then Nerdy is a villager but for now, no.
