  1. Woah. SS is also Skaa Survivors and nothing else nope. 0_0 You might be on to something. I wouldn't read too much into that - they've gone entire turns without posting in the thread while having been online as a villager before Though admittedly that might've been because they were preoccupied with PMs then.
  2. Yeah I did think it was incompetent but wasn’t a hundred percent sure xD
  3. Yep I’m picking up what (I think) you’re putting down.
  4. S-username supremacy amirite alright ok tbh I was wrong about Archer last game so I'm gonna leave him to marinate for some time before passing a judgement. Araris hasn't said much, but I'm not against his exe and he's also probably the incompetent tineye fr cuz who even checks the OoA for actions that aren't their own? :P. Your confusion around the whole cycle/turns thing indicates you probably don't have teammates (so village or mobborn) but that's easy to fake so... thoughts on Archer and Mat?
  5. I'd wager there's at least one Mobborn on that list as of this cycle >:)
  6. Still feeling good about Silho and tentatively feeling okay about Alpha. Slight village lean on DeTess bc their approach to solving seems natural in a village way to me. VC: JNV(1): Mat Araris(2): Aman, Archer Stick(1): Silho Mat(2): Alpha, Stick DeTess(1): Araris
  7. If we consider 12 players, 3 elims vs 9 villagers is the expectation for a standard game (20-25%). In a game where two village-ish factions are trying to outnumber each other, 3 elims in a 12-player game could be considered a tad disproportionate. So I don't think a world where e!Mat (who isn't aware we're down to 9 players) checks in to find a 2-man elim team necessarily means a dead giveaway to 9 players.
  8. I dont know if I'd call it a 'test', but yeah, part of it was me was hoping e!Alpha would be comfortable pushing for a Mat wagon more strongly if they saw that they had some support for it. Except I don't know what to reasonably expect from E!Alpha. I also just wanted to join a Mat wagon tbh like I said. I checked the OoA and no, they can get exed and still recruit someone the same cycle
  9. Maybee? xD Dunno how I feel about you being that self-aware though My understanding was that he's asking for a temporary elim/skaa alliance to get the mobborn out of the way first. @Archer IMO we continue hunting elims in-thread and maybe they'll be kind enough to off a mobborn or two for us using their NK. It's all the same to them as far as outnumbering goes.
  10. I think my main problem with this post is that it starts with a v!Mat presumption. Why bring up distro adjustments at all? Why couldn't Mat have been elim based on the RNG distro? This feels more like a V!Alpha thought process though. I hope you know that was a joke I've certainly feigned rules confusion countless times and there's nothing preventing elims/mobborn to genuinely mistake the rules too. Agreed on the shining read (EDIT: forgot to answer your question about my vote - I didn't love this line from your post END OF EDIT) When you overlook a significant part of the rules it's only natural to go and refresh your memory Back when I signed up for the game xD
  11. Absolutely I'll be honest I've been feeling a little weird about that Mat post too. Is your vote just a random choice or gut suspicion?
  12. you've got a twisted idea of what clearing is :0 And here I was, planning to convert you
  13. BTW we can clear me based on this. ty It's also worth mentioning that the soother target selection is completely random, so it's actually harder to prevent conversions than I thought. @The Known Novel is the Soother informed of whose vote gets soothed if there's multiple players voting for them?
  14. Ah, it’s a redirect >:( It’s hard to see the mobborn without an experimental coinshot especially in a game this small so I doubt they’ll want their non-protected teammates sending in their faction action. Edit: If there are 2 mobborn then 2/2/5 means they can completely turn the tide in a single cycle assuming village exe, village NK, and successful conversion leading to 3/2/2, at which point they’ll probably have a very narrow pool of actual elim suspects in addition to being the majority faction. There’s a small chance this happens but the possibility makes that starting distro unlikely I think.
  15. I don’t really see how hunting the mobborn is different to hunting elims. Both those factions share something the village doesn’t - TMI re: faction members. And once we get an elim/mobborn flip, standard association analysis should lead us to the other team members. While reading the rules I’d assumed the Mobborn do not start with more than a single member. To get as many converts in as they can, they’d wanna prolong the game if possible, SK-style probably. So, uh, we should aim for a village sweep. i.e. focus on finding elims. Alpha Edit: What’d be great is if the mobborn target an elim this cycle (and get attacked as a result). If there’s only one Mobborn to begin with, they are almost certainly an experimental coinshot - their survival will be reflected in the write up and we will be able to tell that that’s the result of a failed mobborn conversion if there’s also another death in the cycle (which has to be the elim kill since there are no vigilante roles in the game). The outed mobborn in such a case will probably want to hold their target’s identity hostage for a while (or maybe not idk) but we should be able to tell who they were likely to target by looking at players they village-read most genuinely during the previous cycle.
  16. Not yet, though I'm hoping to grab a slot in the furthest possible game (probably June) cuz of uni and potential overseas travelling Thanks! xD I'll be lucky to survive D1
  17. Thanks guys! I'll try not to embarrass the subforum. xD I'd really appreciate advice from previous reps (and others who've played on MU before because I sure haven't!). So what do I do now?
  18. Archer is probably at the top of my suspicions list rn 91 then xD Because Kas said something about how E!Ash’s hypothetical teammates did not do much to prevent his exe from what we can tell.
  19. I would like to bring to attention that one LG were E!me just let myself get exe’d (was it LG89?) because I was so out of it and a large chunk of the elim team was not very active and I had cautioned them against emerging out of inactivity simply to vote in my favour out of the blue.
