    I guess it could be silho…my gut still wants to village read him but perhaps I’m giving him credit where I shouldn’t because his Elim meta sample size isn’t the largest. Im a little surprised we only have two PM claims.

    I mean this in the nicest way but this is getting a little ridiculous and I haven't seen a single valid case against me that doesn't just rely on a bunch of assumptions. If resolving my slot is what's gonna take for the village to snap into place then so be it, but I think we're making a big mistake by getting rid of the village power role and doing the elims a huge favour by rolling that and a misexe into one nice little package. I know I'm not leading the exe rn but I have full confidence in both DeTess and JNV (or whoever the second elim is) to plop their votes on my wagon before rollover. So fine. Let's just lock that exe in and move the discussion forward instead of going around in circles because I think everybody has been saying the same thing for 4 pages now.

    That strategy's needlessly risky for Mobborn!Alpha given that they wouldn't have been able to predict how any vote manip might have affected the exe. So I could have just died right after getting converted. Also, if I did get converted it would have been really stupid of me to claim that PM with Alpha cuz the Tineye wont be able to see that PM and will call us out on the lie. Dunno if Mat's a coinshot tbh but if yes then yeah they can do that

    e!me would try my luck claiming mobborn then I've done all I can tbh and I genuinely dont remember a single time e!me hasn't just immediately accepted getting lynched at the first sight of thread suspicion. The urge to self vote here is strong but I dun do that

    Does JNV remain dead neutral even after considering the Araris kill? You said it yourself: Does JNV not fit the first category? IIRC, everybody apart from you and JNV was present at rollover - if you are village you know you're innocent so does this not make JNV look a bit suspicious? It's their fourth game technically yeah but 2 of those were Deception QFs (QF65a/QF65b), which is considerably different from standard SE, and the third...hm. Dunno if they played a third game tbh so this is their third game I think. EDIT: LG93, sorry. That was the third - their first normal SE game

    JNV could be an elim, but I’d expect E!JNV to put more of an effort into communicating their thoughts to the thread (and voting D1). Also, they are literally going to die if they don’t post within the next 13 hours. It’s possible they’re trying out a different elim meta. Edit: @TheAlpha929 PoE is process of elimination - when we’re able to eliminate some players off the pool of suspicion by village reading them, and ending up with players who don’t have much reason to be considered village

    Well apparently the tineye checking to see which players have PMs with each other counts as an action, so they won’t have that info while submitting the kill. So if the tineye is unable to confirm/deny the existence of a PM then we know they did something else w their action. Last cycle, they wouldn’t have used their action on that since PM creation comes after the PM scan.

    The tineye can confirm that alpha created the PM with me. This cycle they’ll be able to see the PMs created last cycle and will be able to confirm JNV’s and Alpha’s actions.

    @Matrim's Dice who put in that Araris kill. If Silho and I aren’t teamed then I have to be actually insane to just up and claim a scan on him if I didn’t really do that. Think about whether a seeker makes sense in an elim team in a nine player game with this setup. I need people to establish whether or not I could have put in the elim kill. If not, think about who could have and vote for them. I’m convinced it’s DeTess and I’ve laid out my reasoning. I also have a niggling feeling that the Mobborn will accidentally target an elim tonight. You know, since apparently we are all so off-base, from what I can tell.

    Tahnk you for posting Vote count when Silho clocked out for the cycle (mistaking rollovet for rollover): JNV(1): Mat Araris(2): Archer, Silho Mat(3): Alpha, Stick, Aman DeTess(1): Araris Which indicates they could be teamed with Mat, only looking at the vote count and nothing else. But Silho mistaking the rollover time in and of itself is village indicative to me. It's hard to not know the correct rollover time when elim. Compare this post from QF62 with any of Silho's posts from this game. Or this post. Silho was converted to the elim faction C2, and I'm observing a lot of one-liners and short, scattered comments from Silho during C1, whereas his posts the rest of the game are lengthier, overall more structured and aimed to either defend himself or justify his votes/actions. Or to establish himself as a contributing villager by posting a wallpost of reads. Compare any of those posts to this one. Verdict is that Silho is NOT ELIM as far as I can guess. So...I really don't know who DeTess' teammate should be if Mat is Mobborn

    Watch them not put in a kill just for me >:) Edit: tbh they just told me I won’t know if I’m redirected ._. But we know that to use the redirect the Lurcher must select two players as targets, and so if I were redirected chances are my action result won’t come up blank. Unless the other player they targeted tried creating a PM or took no action at all. But anyway, I don’t see why anybody would have redirected my action. Edit2: tfw ‘tried to create a PM’ is code for ‘tried to convert you’. Technically not even a lie since that does create a PM. In other words I’m considering Mobborn!Mat. Edit3: Supporting evidence is this question: which seems slightly performative to me in the sense that there’s no real point in asking that. If I really am Mobborn, I will obviously lie and say I’m not.

    I should definitely not be roleblocked anyway as that’s a waste of my role’s potential Edit: Going to do a little distro guessing: We have a total of 9 roles and 9 players. We have one seeker claim and one thug claim. There is confirmation that a tineye exists. We’ve had one coinshot and one augur flip. I think there miiight be one more coinshot (the OG Mobborn) and at most one soother (to counter the conversion). Unsure if a rioter exists in a game this small but considering that the effect of a rioter is essentially equal to that of a soother when it comes to vote manip…Maybe there aren’t any soothers either. If there’s no vote manip there’s no smokers.

    Flagging this for later, could be relevant in an E!DeTess world. Advising I get exe’d the moment Silho flips red could mean DeTess/Silho E/E.

    So instead of just risking outing myself as an elim, I instead go one step further and risk my entire team potentially getting outed? All it would take is one useless augur counterclaiming my action. That’s just bad play :P. Edit: the obvious evil play there would be to claim a scan on araris and incriminate someone innocent and get them exe’d asap

    Can someone explain to me how I’d make up something like having scanned Silho? Even if he and I are elims together, how can I be sure that an Augur didn’t target him? That’s a lie easily disproven and risky for both e!me and e!silho. It doesn’t make a lot of strategic sense.

    Tbf I had you as my scan target for most of the cycle right up till after you were up for the exe for a while. Who would have been a realistic C1 NK target? Silho was never up for the exe and me, Archer, and Mat all publicly Village read him. Edit: I’ll take a look at an E!Silho game later tonight and rethink some things. @Shining Silhouette do you remember any elim games of yours off the top of your head?

    I think that with the knowledge of Archer’s flip and my flip, the elims could have used Araris as their next mix. Especially because Archer was pushing for an araris exe. And also I just doubt that the kill was decided in that half-hour unless both elims were present in the thread. For example, I don’t think that a team of DeTess+Silho works unless the Araris kill was decided before DeTess logged off for the cycle. Edit: @Matrim's Dice just PoE - I guess I could see E!Aman as well, especially because I can see the araris kill as him trying to deviate from his recent elim meta. But I’m leaning slightly more towards not-elim Aman at this moment Edit2: I lied, not just PoE. You unwilling to break the tie is still a red flag Edit3: The reason I’m leaning not-elim Aman atm is because the way he sheeped my votes last cycle to try and gauge which exes I’d be alright with to try and figure out who I’m ‘teamed’ with is giving solvey vibes :thumbsup:

    If I had to rank my willingness to exe players today it’ll have to be DeTess > May > Silho From my perspective Silho’s vote switches EoD don’t make a ton of sense when I think about elim motives there but then again…V/V so maybe his indifference is justified if he’s elim

    I will say that an Araris kill might be a little too obvious for E!DeTess, given that he was openly suspecting them. The only other players who I remember giving actual opinions on Araris were Aman and Mat, both of whom ascribed village reads to him. Araris was village reading Aman so I’m not what E!Aman stands to gain from that kill, unless that was the whole point. @JNV has yet to say anything non-mechanics related

    I’ll start with DeTess They fit the profile of having been absent during EoD when an araris wagon was starting to become a possibility. They’re also one of the two players to vote on side trains. Will note that I was fairly high up on their suspicions list yet they were content enough to leave their vote on Alpha when checking out for the cycle (it was 2/2 between Mat and I when they last posted). @DeTess why didn’t you vote for me? IMO it was clear that an Alpha train wouldn’t be viable since so many of us were village reading them, so why leave your vote there? Edit: Since there doesn’t seem to have been any soothing last cycle, we can assume a conversation took place so best case scenario we’re looking at 2I/2M/3S rn
