    I'm confused about how write-ups and roleplaying work in Sanderson Elimination. So the write-up is what the players see storywise at the start of each cycle, right? And it details the story of what happened during that round, correct? Are the write-ups written by the GM, or do the characters who died during that cycle write them and PM them to the GM?

    The former (read all of the books), because it's hard to be truly cosmere aware if you've only read one series. Plus it would be incredibly hard to decide which one series to read. Chromium Ferring or Bendalloy Ferring?

    Here is something completely strange and random and irrelevant I found out. You know how when your mouse is hovering above a post, the Report Post button is black, but if your mouse is not hovering above a post, the Report Post button is light grey? Well, if your mouse is hovering above a post and the Report Post button is black, but you press the middle mouse button (if you have a 3-button mouse), it will turn light grey until you move your mouse, and then it will turn black again. Thank you for allowing me to waste your time.

    Cortosis is lightsaber-proof apparently due to its "conductive properties", according to Wookieepedia. (Although I doubt that's 100% reputable because later in the article it says it's resistant to blaster fire due to its "energy resistant properties".)

Brandon Sanderson That is strongly hinted in the book. ----- and ----- Question Is the Nightwatcher a spren of Cultivation in a similar way that the Stormfather is to Honor? Brandon Sanderson The Nightwatcher is not Cultivation but is related. You're on the right track. ----- and ----- Question Is Cultivation the same thing as the Nightwatcher? Brandon Sanderson No, they are related but it is more like the similarity between the Stormfather and Honor.

    Well, a spren is "Investiture that is alive", and "the people of Roshar would probably call Adonalsium a spren", so doesn't that mean that Adonalsium is Investiture that is alive?
