  1. The circumstances surrounding Droughtbringer are a bit perplexing. Rand expressed legitimate suspicion of him for building the bandwagon on Straw without actually voting, and then turns up dead the next night. But Frozen Mint also used Laughter [protection] on Drought. Now we know both Drought and Rand are villagers, what are your thoughts? Specifically @Ornstein I'd like to hear from you about this. I personally am rather suspicious of Flash, or would at least like to hear more from him. He has posted a ton for being a new player, but little suspicion, saying "nobody has really been acting all that suspicious". - Crescent Thunder sat in the waiting room, listening in on the conversation between Prism and the doctor. "--purple pony with stars for a cutie mark?" "Yes..how did you know?" "Trust me, she sends us more than enough patients around here." ~~~~~she sends us more than enough patients~~~~~ Crescent Thunder was lying on the table in the doctor's office. The doctor came in, tut-tutting. "Knocked out, a couple broken bones, looks a lot like you got pounced on. Now let me guess. A purple pony with stars for a cutie mark?" What? How did he know? "No!" Crescent Thunder said, "As I told you, I fell off my balcony. That's how I got these injuries." "I've had more than enough patients come in looking exactly like you do. Cause: pounced on by the rogue starred pony. Happens all the time." He remembered the first time he had ever met Twilight Star: he was walking home after a terrible day when out of nowhere, she shot out from the bushes and landed on him, and they rolled over laughing and giggling. Through a stroke of luck, he found out how to contact her again--and returned the favor when she was leaving her house. He never saw her in public; as far as he knew, no one did. B...but I thought..."Happens all the time"... "Now let me fix you up and send you home, son. And be careful, all right?" ~~~~~that was a year ago~~~~~ and he felt a single tear running down his cheek in that same waiting room. He figured there was a reason it was called a waiting room.
  2. @Hemalurgic_Headshot To be honest I haven't been paying all that much attention to the strategy of this game. I'm a vanilla role with no PMs and we haven't killed any elims yet, giving us very little to go off of. After I finish homework I'll do some analysis.
  3. Happy birthday! I wish you luck on your quest!

  4. @Sart I say that I meant absolutely nothing by that comment until we find out PK's alignment. (PK, I forgot). It was a thought for next cycle since discussion generally stalls once a lynch candidate is settled upon.
  5. Crescent Thunder tried to seem as innocuous as possible standing around near the buffet, one eye open for Twilight Star. He was starting to get worried when-- CRASH! He heard a loud thump originating from where he was just standing a few moments ago. He saw Prism looking rather annoyed and concerned, and a large black mass lying next to her---wait, was that Sword-Pony? Cursing his luck for leaving the area near Twilight Star again, he wandered back to Prism. "Dost thou think it would be advisable to transport this afflicted pony to a physician, milady?" he asked gently. "I will gladly assist you."
  6. Just to keep discussion going... If PK turns out to be village, then the elims probably have a Captain and abstained their kill to get us to waste the D1 lynch. Not the most effective strategy, but that's really the most plausible explanation I could see given that outcome.
  7. Crescent Thunder thought it best to extricate himself from the situation. He purposefully made his way over to the buffet table.
  8. Elaboration [this may or may not be what's actually happening, just how the character views it] Crescent Thunder stopped. Lost in his thoughts about Twilight Star, he hadn't realized that he had been talking out loud. And now he found himself standing between Prism--the unintended recipient of his note to Twilight Star--and Sword-Pony. What he heard as he tuned in to the conversation was Prism: "...would be delighted to attend with you!" She was addressing Sword-Pony. He felt a strange twinge of sadness, nothing compared to the large twinge of fear at the fact that he happened to be standing between them. Suddenly, a pony leapt from out of nowhere. She was a glorious dark purple pony, with elegantly spiked orange and black fur waving as if in slow motion as she soared. Her beautiful large blue eyes shown with pure joy. She laughed as she pounced...on Sword-Pony. She giggled and they rolled around, sticking out her tongue: "Found you~!" and giggled again. Crescent Thunder's jaw fell open as if on a hinge, heart burning with envy. This was the girl of his dreams, laughing and flirting clearly with an armed pony who had just asked another girl (who was watching the spectacle, as openmouthed as he was) out to the party! Crescent Thunder looked away. "Art I the rain, the sun, the wind, To which Thou claimest love, yet fain would ward away?" He addressed the lines to none but himself, and the breeze.
  9. Sorry, guys, I got the rollover times switched between this game and another game. I had planned to do some analysis and vote before rollover but that didn't end up happening. I'll be on for maybe an hour, so if anyone is open for RP, I'm game. Sorry my last one was so abrupt, I was in a 10-minute break in the middle of class. Edit: And happy birthday Flash!
  10. Crescent Thunder stood back, watching Twilight Star and Razor Shard rolling around and giggling. His heart instantly filled with envy. He nonverbally appealed to Prism, his eyes saying: "Do you have any idea what's going on here? And do you know this pony?"
  11. (Sorry to intrude, @BrightnessRadiant and @Bridge Boy. Things can never be simple.) (And @Alvron seriously where are you) Twilight Star! Where art thou, Twilight Star? Thou wast absent from the proclamation, thou wast absent from the party--one would begin to think thou hast been remissly dozing in the bushes the entire time! Crescent Thunder turned a corner. I hath not seen thee for a time, and to tell the truth, I miss thy presence. Shouldst I have been more brazen? It seems as if I have failed to make my love clear; yet, little good would be accomplished by sauntering up and proclaiming "I love you"... He was pulled out of his thoughts when he noticed a pony holding an upside-down art book giving him a strange look, and he realized maybe his internal monologue may not have been entirely internal. Looking again, he realized it was Prism, the pretty pony from the party. His mind instantly flashed back to last night, when he dropped the note intended for Twilight Star. Had she thought the note was for her? Did she think he liked her? Then Crescent Thunder looked to the right and saw another pony--the one with the sword. Did Prism have a boyfriend? Either way, the sword worried him.
  12. Crescent Thunder folded the paper back up, highly embarrassed, and tucked it behind her wing, writing a name on the outside: Twilight Star. Hopefully it wouldn't reach any more unintended recipients. Yet as the party progressed, there was still no sign of the pony he desperately wanted to meet. What was taking her so long? Had something happened to her? @Alvron
  13. Crescent Thunder was very grateful he was already red. "Er, um, yes, that was mine, er, did you really like it?" For someone who always chose his words carefully, he sounded like a blubbering idiot. "By the way, what's your name? And can you tell me where I could find a Prism?"
  14. If you did a picture of Hrathen I would love you forever.

    1. JessiOchse

      JessiOchse

Ahhh I loved Hrathen! I probably would soon!

  15. Crescent Thunder was surprised when he received the invitation to Prism's Planning Party. He was even more surprised when he realized that the invitation was hand-drawn, by a talented artist, no less. He was most surprised to learn that the party was to take place in thirty minutes Cursing the fact that the letter had likely been postponed in the post due to all the pandemonium, he hastily shoved the paper he was working on into the little pocket by his wing--It's always useful to have pockets when I'm writing all the time, he thought--and immediately flew to the party. It would be interesting to meet this plotting Prism person, whoever she was. On the flight, he thought about the paper behind his wing, going over many drafts of the text in his mind. It was a note, a half-written poem, to a pony he was crushing on. The language was beautiful and elaborate; she was bound to love it--and, hopefully, him. - Arriving at the party, the first thing Crescent Thunder noticed was a charming painting of Luna at the time of the announcement. Charming isn't quite the word for it, he thought, considering the circumstances of the proclamation, but there's something about the careful strokes and overall presentation that make the painting...stand out, somehow. He told this to the cream-colored pony standing by the painting, likely the artist. She blushed slightly. Now, time to find Prism. Come to think of it, he didn't actually know what she looked like. Maybe she was inside... He froze. The paper had fallen out of his pocket. His beautifully written poetry. Had he dropped it by the painting, perhaps? He rushed back to the painting and saw the cream-colored pony holding the lost paper... - @BrightnessRadiant I've watched way too many romantic comedies recently...
  16. @Mestiv You are now required to change your rank to "Codebringer the Catlike".
  17. Doth the mind of the assassin not reek of blood? Forsooth, the culprit hath already revealed himself, and as the proverb states, "third on a meaningless bandwagon". I daresay I shalt not let this injustice be carried out on one innocent as Prism; @Bridge Boy would undoubtedly concur. [Straw]
  18. @Seonid Can a Mistborn burn any metal on any Turn, or does it have to be in the Turn specified by the individual metal?
  19. Beautiful, amazing job!
