Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Ecthelion III replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Aaaaand cut! With that, the shutters on my life come to a close (provided no last-minute intervention from my beloved Twilight Star). Hopefully, my trusted ponies, you will use my last gift to you: a referencepoint for my good friend--or should I say, enemy--the one I call Sword-Pony. "Death is the road. Life is the traveler. the Soul is the guide." I'll leave you with some awesome music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWSB3qL5qs8- 628 replies

View this with perspective. Assuming he was an elim, he would know with a perfect knowledge the exact alignment of everypony else. The fact that he "scanned" someone but didn't share it immediately at the beginning of the cycle--not even in first post that cycle--is even more proof to me that Ironpies is not to be trusted.- 628 replies

Ecthelion III replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
My vote stands stalwart. I am aware of my innocence and thou hast given me no reason to believe you. And please, Don't take this as a malevolent accusation, rather a friend expressing concern that you are an evil being content with destroying the world. But when revelation hits, you will be forced to answer for it.- 628 replies

--REQUIEM OF THE LIVING-- Oh destiny to carry me across the sands of time to toss me aside the winds of trust as I have lived, judgment looks back, contemplating as I still live, judgment looks only forward, completed shall not judgement be blind either way? shall my warning not carry either way?I as prism's light warps, so may it be passed as twilight's star leaps, so shall I die to carry a message, is that my purpose to have pursued yet to be betrayed Is destiny- 628 replies

Ah ok. For some reason I thought that Crimsn being evil invalidated that somehow. My vote remains on HH; however, I am no longer suspicious of BR of course.- 628 replies

Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Ecthelion III replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Wait, I thought Brightness wasn't cleared because she messed up the Generosity plan and said she received it before the passer said she gave it first, meaning she wouldn't be cleared at all, as @Alvron said here. Did I understand the generosity rules wrong? And HH, why I didn't vote for you is because I am suspicious of both you and BR, and I chose her. Apparently nobody agrees, though, so I'll move to you. Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Ecthelion III replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I think this whole "Changelings are relatively evenly distributed across the pony types" thing is ridiculous. Gambler's Fallacy, people. Changelings were likely determined randomly and it's no more likely that there is an evil Pegasus and an evil Earth Pony than there are 2 evil Pegasi. And HH, you completely fail to mention BrightnessRadiant herself when discussing the various Pegasi. I believe that speaks for itself. Tbh I could vote on either of you right now, as right now I believe you are both evil and trying to direct suspicion onto the Earth Ponies once one of you has died.- 628 replies

"I don't think pony type is a valid ground for lynch, especially considering there was no Pegasus vote, and it's too early in the cycle for a bandwagon. We should go analyze what Crimsn-Wolf wrote." He tossed Prism a peanut, winking.- 628 replies

This whole thing about "Orlok not using his detainment is suspicious" seems a bit ridiculous to me, given that he hasn't posted at all this cycle and thus shouldn't be judged for not submitting an action out of the context of inactivity. Is it really all that suspicious to just be inactive? Between him and Cluny, I say Cluny.

I love your signature, 10/10. Not that I would be able to give it a different score without it taking over But seriously, love the dry humor. -
I'll be like JK Rowling at the beginning of a Harry Potter book. The Second Nameless entered his room, removed his black cloak, and immediately sat down and began composing a letter. He did all this rather stiffly; some might think him overly formal, but that's just the way his kind was. There were five of his kind, to be precise. The Nameless. He couldn't remember where he came from except for vague images. His true memory began with PRIME. PRIME. Lesser mortals might shudder at the title. PRIME was an all-powerful being located somewhere in the cosmos, and the Nameless were his agents, each bound to Him by an indestructible ring. It was the goal of the Five Nameless to do whatever, wherever PRIME demanded. Only three of the Nameless remained: "Third" was killed by a rogue Hemalurgist when trying to form alliances on Scadrial in the village of Tyrian Falls, and "Fifth" had been deployed on the planet Roshar when suddenly, inexplicably, he had lost connection with PRIME. Gone rogue. It was the mission of The Second Nameless to search the Cosmere and kill him before things got out of hand. His kind had special capabilities as well: access to the magical art of Soulbinding, and certain...unique pieces of equipment. Like the coin in his cloak. The Second Nameless finished the letter and put his pen down, smiling. It was time to make a deal with the devil.

Scadrial. The site of his brother-in-arms' death. Granted, he wasn't directly in Tyrian Falls--it had been Fifth's assignment to go there and recover the ring. The package containing the ring had reached First before Fifth went rogue, thank goodness. He tapped his own ring. This was how he knew all of that: direct communication with PRIME through it. There was a drawback, of course; the ring couldn't ever be taken off. Nor, he had learned, could it be broken, chipped, or affected by magic. This was meaningless to him. PRIME had commanded he wear the ring, so that's what he did. The grey stone set into the ring pulsed briefly, and a voice spoke in his head. "HOW ARE THINGS ON THE SURFACE?" "Fine, sir," he replied to the air. "A metallurgist has died, I haven't seen any of Ventures. No sign of Fifth, either." "THE VENTURES ARE OF NO CONCERN TO ME. IT IS FIFTH YOU SHOULD BE FOCUSED ON." "Yes, sir, I'll remember that." "IT IS RATHER A SHAME THAT THERE MIGHT NO LONGER BE A METALLURGIST AROUND." Second chuckled. "HOWEVER, AS WE BOTH KNOW, YOU HAVE NO NEED FOR SUCH PUNY MATERIALS. YOU HAVE MUCH GREATER TOOLS AT YOUR DISPOSAL." Second fingered the bright silver sword-coin in his cloak pocket. "Yes, my lord."

Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Ecthelion III replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Crescent Thunder felt serious deja vu as he picked up Prism with his strong Pegasus muscles and began carrying her back to the doctor's office. It hadn't been long before he had last been there with her, albeit for a different reason. Twilight Star. He wished that this time spent with a girlpony had been under different circumstances. She was undeniably pretty. But he felt it would be easier for the both of them if she was conscious.- 628 replies

Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Ecthelion III replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
@Hemalurgic_Headshot Yeah I don't see what Honesty has to do with this. Honesty is 100% village because all the elements started village, and if she were villageHonesty, she wouldn't pretend to be a Changeling. @BrightnessRadiant If he's not evil, Crimson definitely is, and I don't see why she would say what she just said because of the already-impending lynch on Conatus. Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Ecthelion III replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Crescent Thunder wadded up the paper and threw it to the ground. First Bracken was a Changeling, and now this? He was never going to get anything done at this rate! He decided to seek out someone he could trust. Someone like Prism. She had seemed pretty knowledgeable and collected when she called everyone together for the tactical meeting. Maybe she could-- '"-letting the village take one out randomly??? Everyone please help! WHAT SHOULD WE DO?!" Well, never mind on that. Maybe he could at least stop her running around in circles. - In Crimson's "confession", she said Conatus and Quiver were fellow changelings. Because there are already a bunch of votes on Conatus and turnover is approaching, I don't see why we shouldn't just test the truth of her statement with that.- 628 replies

Mid-Range Game 22: My Little Perfidy
Ecthelion III replied to Herowannabe's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Crescent Thunder had decided to go do something with his life instead of thinking about the past all the time. The past, he decided, was best left in the past. That way it couldn't leak through into the future. He sat alone on a grassy hill, writing about the sea, the stars, the sky... "Sir, did you hear? Bracken was a changeling! He's been caught!" Just when he was starting to have a bit of peace...- 628 replies
