  1. Care to elaborate? I don't want anything I was trying to say to be misinterpreted.. And I see what you are saying, but I still disagree. Also, I don't think one faction being revealed would have ensured any kind of protection from spiking, maybe that night yes, but not in the long run.
  2. Darn, she's on to me... I completely understand those priorities Okay, sorry about my inactivity due to the 4th of July holiday, I should be more active over the next week at the very least. weekends in the summer time are so hectic for me, if I drop off the face of the earth on a weekend that is why, I will always try to give a fair warning and be on mobile when it's possible. I live in an area that is spotty with cell service as it is so I can't always guarantee it. Anyway on to my vote, Aman took the words (analysis) right out of my head, and put it down in a way that sounds much more coherent than what I would have managed, so thank you. So Orlok the push for faction reveal rubbed me wrong from the start and the fact that you continued to bring it up after several people disagreed seemed strange and also frustrating. I firmly believe that individual houses stand to learn more about their teamates from doc conversations than anything else, and this would in no way change or even help if you knew who belonged to what house because at the end of the day you are still not involved in those interactions. I do believe, as Aman said, that knowing who fits where would greatly benefit the Inquisitor in deciding how to build his team to get the most information and trust. I see what you are saying, but I think the issue for me is he's presenting it in a way that is pro village and therefore trying to prevent that spotlight by writing it off as a helpful suggestion (especially when he added the bit about staunchly supporting the hunt for the Inquisitor, the I can't be him if I'm trying to catch him ploy :p). Also, if I'm remembering correctly, he wasn't the first to suggest it, which would absolutely be worth taking advantage of as the Inquisitor. I have no other good reads yet, and I don't want to waste my vote, Orlok is at the top of my list at the moment so he gets the vote. I also second people's suspicions of Joe but I'm more confident in my feelings about Orlok, at least until he defends himself.
  3. Shoot. I honestly thought it ended tonight. I have been in no services area for the last day and a half because of the holiday. For some reason I was thinking Ithat ended tonight at 2am so I wasn't to concerned about getting my vote in before. Not that it was needed I don't think there was any argument about lynching Rubiks. Anyway, I should be back to regular activity, at least during the rest of this week. Also @Lopen how could I put in a DF kill and redirect at the same time? I redirected Bugsy last night, which was confirmed I couldn't do both.
  4. I did not do what I was supposed to, I did redirect Bugsy, because I was afraid the holding back an attack was a ruse, and I was suspicious that I would be killed. I chose Mail because of my suspicions on him figuring if I was wrong about the Bugsy plan being a lie I wouldn't do any harm. Glad I decided to go with my gut this time for self preservation reasons >.>, although my gut was clearly wrong about Mail so I am sorry about that. However I still stand by the fact that I DID do what I was supposed to the previous night and there was still a DF kill so I am not convinced that it is Rubiks, unless there are two. I agree that Rubiks is likely corrupt because of the Joe redirect, but if he is not the DF then we have a bigger threat on our hands that just took out our theif-taker. Just pointing that out.
  5. Wow. Just caught up on the D1 lynch, that was seriously chaotic >.> Although I completely understand what Aman was trying to achieve by doing that, I feel like it was hard to tell if people were switching because they wanted to save someone or to genuinely just keep it at a tie because that is what Aman was pushing for. I have yet to actually do any analysis because I had so much reading to do just to catch up, and it was so confusing to follow all those votes and retractions . My activity will be unpredictable this weekend (as it kind of already has been), due to the holiday and having friends and family in town. I should be around most of today (Friday), half of Saturday, very unpredictable Sunday and Monday and then back full force Tuesday!
  6. Heard what? That was for me? That's not how you spell my name... Kidding (sorta, the spelling is wrong) I heard it, action has been sent in.
  7. I agree I think people are comfortable right now and so they don't see a reason to. Village is in a great position right now, but you are absolutely right, one slip up will give corrupted and or DF's to take over or create confusion. So lets not let that happen. In general I have been slightly more inactive due to RL stuff but I am trying to stay read up (in both games). I am pretty sure LG23 is taking a lot of peoples attentions too
  8. Well, I open the window back up to see the blood bath has begun! But in all honesty, I see a lot of random voting going on here. I think I am going to throw my current (and also semi random) vote on Kipper. I am not familiar with your play style, but you were coming pretty hard at Arraenae in the previous cycle, for no good reason I could see. That kind of chaos makes me nervous, so there!
  9. Just about to start it, your reactions are making me worried though.. guess I will have to see for myself! I think its important to remember that Graphic Novels aren't for everybody, even one that is based on a story by your favorite author won't do it for you if its not your thing. I personally have always loved Graphic Novels, as a kid reading was hard for me and Graphic Novels and comic books made a huge difference in building those skills and bridging that gap. Now a days you can find Graphic Novel adaptations of classic novels in school libraries, it warms my heart
  10. Mine just arrived at my doorstep! Headed out now for a run but as soon as I get back, its on! So excited!
  11. Okay, Joe it is, although I'm still not sure where I stand on Mail. I agree that he is most likely corrupted and if hes not then we know Stink is.
  12. If you're referring to my "each of us" I mean those of us that are not spokes people. I meant, hypothetically, I wouldn't want something I say or do in thread to inadvertently connect me to what my spokes person is saying and out myself. For instance, I think you have a good idea I am going to go with it (for a vote perhaps) individually in thread there could or could not be a connection between us because I agreed with you, but its not certain its just me agreeing with your arguments and people will read that how they will. But if I am agreeing with a spokes person, maybe not even my own, am I going to be viewed as part of that faction? If I choose to stay quiet to protect myself that's not really helpful either.. Maybe I'm thinking too much about it, or not really understanding how the spokes people would function, but that is what I meant.
  13. Uh..nope, to be honest I don't really.. too early to have formed any solid opinions, and I had this open in the background so I haven't really been paying too much attention.
  14. I have to go with Aman on this one... I also think that it would make it hard for each of us to individually put our opinions into thread without potentially giving away whose side we are on. Everyone contributing to thread is important for game play too, with the boxings system and all. For that reason, as well as the others Aman stated already, I just don't think it would work.
  15. I think it is entirely possible for us to work together to weed out the inquisitor and/or spiked, without giving away that information. It would also take away a huge part of the game, which is the factions themselves, and the various roles/mechanics that are designed to help figure out who is who and where they fit. And realistically, it would really take away from the fun of all of that!!
  16. I was showing you my line of thinking, why it is still up in the air. Because if Joe was just corrupted why would redirect Mail before being corrupted, unless like I said he thought he was doing the right thing and misleading me at the same time. So in my mind either Mail is corrupt and lied about being redirected or Joe lied to cover his own corruption, but he did redirect mail for honest reasons thinking he was saving someone else that was going to be targeted? I don't know that's why I'm unsure. The only other possibility is that Joe was not targeted at all and Stink is corrupted and is misleading us like you said. Maybe my wording was a little confusing but I'm trying to convey my thought process, how one scenario leads me to think of another that counters that previous one...
  17. Clearly, everyone is too busy with LG23 for discussion here haha Okay I've been fairly out of touch recently for various reasons so here are some thoughts looking back on things: Clearly the people who jumped on the vote for Mail bandwagon last time were corrupted (at least Joe and Aonar for sure), so chances are Mail is not, unless they were trying to cover for him or Stink is corrupt. My issues with Mail not being corrupt remain: Joe was just targeted for corruption so I am doubtful he redirected mail to allow a villager to be killed. Unless he thought he was doing the right thing redirecting the save onto someone who he thought needed it, lied to me for lack of trust, and then decided to go with the lie after corruption to protect Aonar. Which is not a bad theory supporting Mail's innocence. I know where I stand and my actions. Rubiks did not kill himself, so either there is a hidden DF or I was outed by Mail. Joe is not a true threat right now if Bugsy does not kill, but a DF is a threat, if its not Rubiks they will keep killing us from the shadows regardless of anything else. Just sayin.
  18. I exist! (Is that enough to earn a boxing) Just in case it's not I will add my opinion to a couple of things I saw: @Amanuensis thanks for that helpful strategy guide, is that to ensure we don't suspect you?? Kidding! (Maybe..) But I digress, I like the idea of organized chaos by only killing certain nights. Its a fair point that the inquisitor could use that to cover up a spiked but it would reduce the amount of killings a bit. I also agree that we cannot focus solely on faction to faction stuff and hope we catch eliminators in the process, we should be thinking about the inquisitor and spiked as much as possible since they can infiltrate all of us and destroy from within as well as through kills. Uh.. other than that I'm excited to see how this all plays out! Happy hunting!
  19. @Metacognition I wasn't really thinking about it, Aman messaged me asking me one thing, Mail another I told them both what the other asked and both what I decided to go with, Aman didn't say don't tell Mail... And to be perfectly honest I was on and off not really thinking about the game much more than putting in my orders. After the fact I thought I probably shouldn't have said anything but I also thought, well if Mail is corrupt this might prove it.. 100% RL distractedness and after thoughts.
  20. I told both Aman and Mail that I was going to redirect Rubiks to himself, so if mail is corrupted he could have easily outed me to Joe. The only other possibility I can see is Rubiks is not the DF. I'm becoming more convinced Mail is corrupt, because I know where I stand. And if I was redirected then that's the only way he would have known to do so.
  21. @Amanuensis Calling me out like that is what convinced me to suck it up and play LG22! ...Part of me thinks you wish you hadn't now though...
  22. The reason why I was quick to attack Mail, Is because I asked Bugsy if Mail was going to continue protecting him since he was outed by my redirect.. He said yes, unless he's been corrupted.. Jokingly of course but it got me thinking about how that wouldn't be impossible and how bad that would be. So naturally when we see Rubiks saved, who was the logical target, and Mail is quick to point out that he protected sheep and must have been redirected naturally I am going to suspect him since it was already on my mind, I know what I did and I hoped I knew what Joe did. @Amanuensis don't get frustrated, it's just a game.. I learned my lesson from losing my tempter at you earlier, it's hard to play a game like this with only words and no body language, and from what I've learned the best players are the best manipulators, so if Stink thinks your posturing take it as a compliment
  23. @Bugsy6912 Its not evidence, but its pretty convenient a cover, to say that he was actually protecting the one who was killed but got redirected to the one who you were killing.. I might be willing to switch my vote to Rubiks but I'm not convinced that Mail wasn't the second corruption yet, and I think hes a bigger threat if he is corrupt. I agree with what you said earlier I don't think Mail was the first to be corrupted but I think he was last time.
  24. @TheMightyLopenJoe told me he would redirect Aonar to Aonar I suggested kind of last minute he switch the redirect to Anoar to Rubiks again just in case the self target thing wasn't allowed, he hasn't gotten on yet to say which he did or if it was Succesful. I think people are not voting for Aonar because if Joe actually did what he said he couldn't have corrupted anyone, or because even if he is fain he has no more actions left, which means he's harmless.. For now.
  25. I told Stink to sniff me, I'm not scared of the results. Of course I wanted to give him a chance, he claimed Viewer.. we didn't even give him a chance, but we tried to come up with a plan to prevent a corruption and prove it was him by not talking about it in thread. like I said, unless Joe lied, but I don't know that I trust that.. yes Mail voted for Aonar, but if he's not Fain then of course he would. Even if Aonar is Fain he probably knew it wasn't going to happen so what's the harm in casting the vote to avoid suspicion. There's also no saying that Stink isn't corrupt or Bugsy either. If someone set Mail up then fine, like I said, I don't want to believe we've lost our wisdom. I don't want to tunnel on Mail and I'm willing to listen to more arguments before settling on a lynch target, but corrupt wisdom is a scary idea no matter how you look at it. And even if Mail did get redirected, there's no saying he wasn't corrupted this past cycle, he'd be quite the asset.
