Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
jaimeleecee replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
boy am I glad we have an extended night cycle, I did some reviewing of D2 and note taking earlier today but other than that I have been utterly useless! Just to comment on what I have skimmed through in the last few minutes, I don't think it's likely that there was a corrupted already just because corrupting is Fains only action, so it would make sense that he gets to pick his whole team not have some members chosen for him. I'm not saying I've cleared Elodin from my suspicion list I'm just not sure that theory holds up. Who knows though... I'm too tired to think hard. Good night all. -

Oh light.. Since I Ninja'd Lopen and said I was suspicious of Gunshy first then I guess I wouldn't technically be bandwagoning but I'm so stressed about possibly being wrong about Elodin and losing another important villager gahhhhh I might puke before this is over tonight anyone have a current count? -

The more I re-read previous posts, I am growing suspicion for Gunshy I didn't necessarily have before.... And I must admit that my counter argument about the HS bandwagon is flawed.. because of that my suspicion against Elodin is again reduced, not gone, because of the lack of defense for him... Which makes me feel bad voting for him if I'm not really trusting myself completely but I don't think me changing my mind is enough to save him. This game is wayyyyy more stressful than I anticipated... I spend all day reading people and relying heavily on my gut and intuition as it is, but this.. this is a whole different monster of analysis >.> I'm actually getting a headache from not being able to make up my mind the paranoia is real! -

I'll have to give you credit for that one, to be perfectly honest I didn't look carefully at who voted for HS, I was just offering a counter argument to that possibility. I called it a bandwagon because people indicated that the vote was tied and last I checked only you had voted for him. I am home now and with 2 hours left I will get on my computer and look more closely at everything ASAP. -

Bugsy, you have won me over this time, I wanted a reasonable defense and I got one That being said, I am now feeling stuck between these two possibilities. I see logic in both arguments for and against each of them, for example Elbereth, you mentioned that the HS bandwagon started because of your rational, which was pretty good.. and yet the argument that not enough people have come to Elodin's defense could be voided by this because people (darkfriends) could have taken your reasonable arguments as an opportunity to move the vote elsewhere without having to defend Elodin and make themselves look suspicious. I think I have to go with my gut on this one and say Elodin my gut was at least half wrong last time, but I feel like I don't have much else to go off of at this point. I will also go ahead and throw a mayoral vote at Meta despite being wary of him at first I have some trust for him at the moment. Going to be leaving job #2 a little later, so I will try and be active when I get home to see what if any changes ensue last minute! -

He ran with my suspicions of straw VERY quickly on D1, at the time I was flattered because I thought I had made some good arguments.. but then I became suspicious of the possibility of people trying to start another bandwagon to save Sart last minute. He was not very active before that, and was gone after that comment even though he said the vote was to see where the discussing led. I guess my reasoning is that I am suspicious of the other two but they have been active in defending themselves and so by voting for Bugsy now I will have a chance to see what he says about it. edit: double quote -

Sucks about Nyali I hope they can work it out... As I have been reading through peoples arguments I am seeing reasonable suspicion on people I have already had some concern over, in my notes from D1 I indicated Bard, Bugsy and Elodin seemed as though they were trying to divert the vote away from Sart at the last minute, although I felt that I had good reason to suspect Straw at the time these have been my top suspects since the end of D1. I was going to try and do a full on analysis of everyone but not only do I just not have enough time >.> I also don't think my opinion counts for much at this point so I don't really want to waste my time putting it all down here. For now I am going to put a vote on Bugsy because I agree with meta (who I feel trusting of at this point) that the lack of defense for Elodin is suspicious as well. Although hes still on my list I find it very odd that its been so easy to point the finger at him. I'm throwing my vote out there now because I have another 12 hour work day today and I'm afraid I wont be able to be on a lot through out the day ( I keep the window open but trust me I am not always looking at it). I tend to jump on mobile and skim through the posts as often as I can as well, but I don't always have time to write a well thought out response.. I have been keeping some notes for myself however so I am doing my best to pay attention. Its the end of the school year and I am insanely busy right now so bare with me! If I hop on to change my vote later I will do my best to write out a well thought explanation as to why I am changing it if I have time. Edit: spelling mistakes -

That is a good point... my theories are: That you were detained to protect you from being scanned or targeted by wolf brothers (but I see it would make sense to target someone like straw, unless they were trying to throw us off) A village whitecloak trusts you and wanted to protect you from being targeted That you were the one to put in a kill order but your detainment blocked the kill explaining the lack of darkfriend kill. Of course there could be other reasons for no darkfriend kill I understand that. But 2 and 3 happening together would explain the block and the lack of kill going off these thoughts alone.. I am not casting a vote yet, I am still just looking for evidence, so I'm sorry if I come across as attacking you. -

jaimeleecee replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Being that there is no way to prove that, and even if it could be tue, there is no saying that it wasn't a protective detain, knowing that there were suspicions cast on you from your actions during D1.. This might be a total noob question.. but do the darkfriends all have to agree on someone to make a kill? like if one of them was detained would they not be able to kill because of that or does it not matter if the others are still able to perform an action? I'm still working on re-reading previous posts but I feel comfortable saying that I am the most suspicious of Elodin for several reasons and Rubiks, I think mostly because of the attempt at a Sheep bandwagon which felt like an effort to redirect. I'm just speculating of course but I wanted to put my thoughts out there for now. On the other hand, I am feeling more trusting of Wilson and Meta at this point as well.. but most of you are still in the neutral zone for me. I'm sure I will have more opinions later when I have more time to read and think! -

Okay I am finally caught up! Sorry to have been off for so long, last night I had to drive 5 hours, but my windsheild wipers stopped working during a down pour and I had to sit on the side of the road in a no service area for an hour waiting for the rain to pass... that was fun >.> anyhoo... Talk about some serious karma... The only thing that could be our saving grace (if I am remembering correctly) is that Warders and Channelers might not be on the same side, as they don't know each others affiliation just who each other are. Could we have gotten lucky enough to have killed the good guy warder of a darkfriend channeler?? I am unsure where my trust lies still.. I have a lot of analysis to do still, as yesterday was pretty much shot for me I still need to spend time going over the last of D1 and pretty much all of N1. Edit: Winter=Ninja she beat me to the channeler might be evil theory and I didn't notice until just now.. trying to work and catch up here at the same time -

You didn't say anything about me.. I meant your posts read suspicious to me because they were short and seemed bandwagony, like you didn't give explanations for your actions and when I tried probing you for more information by voting for you, you ignored it.. So suspicion fueled, until you role claimed.. That just confused the rust out of me -
Long Game 22: Corenne al'Daishar
jaimeleecee replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well I feel obligated to defend myself more now... For most of the day everyone pinned me as probably villager until I was wrong for "defending" Sart. I think if you review my posts I make it pretty clear that what I'm saying is I don't get it. I am constantly asking for clarification there... I didn't mind the D1 Lynch post for reasons I explained a couple of times. And I just remained thoroughly confused as to why Sart was so suspicious and no one could give me a better reason. That made me suspicious that there was something going on there. And I think my reasoning for targeting straw (at first) was sound... Because look at his posts... Up until he role claimed being a scanner but I wasn't going to retract my vote at that point because I had been keeping tally and clearly Sart was going to be the lynch. I voted Maill for mayor because I didn't trust the rest of you who had voted for Sart because I DIDNT GET IT and still don't, and I thought he made some good arguments. Like I said I'm grateful to those of you who have better instincts than me (mine are usually on point, but I guess that's when reading someone face to face not words on a screen...) @Bard I definitely don't think I ever came across as knowing people I stated in almost every post that I wasn't familiar with peoples play styles and that I was going off of gut feelings. Also Gamma can vouch for the fact that I spent two days messaging him and going through the LG 6 thread before committing to play the game... Because I hate feeling lost and not knowing what I'm doing... This rust, like most of you, is intimidating and I didn't want to make a fool of myself. So you saying I seem to know a lot about the game for someone new, I will take as a compliment Edit: fixing name accidentally wrote straw instead of Bard -

Wow this is unbelievably lucky! And yeah I'm sure my arguments could be seen as defense of Sart but don't think I defended as much as probed for more clarity because I did argue that I didn't understand the basis for the lynch... Which I still don't really.. But I am so grateful that I was wrong! -

@Elbereth I'm on mobile and that would require copying, refreshing, pasting and editing if need be then doing it again because light knows the cursor never goes where I want it to.... So sometimes I'm just too lazy for that.. *shrugs* -

The current lynch vote is 7-6 Sarah(sart) and Gladium(straw) with Lomion's mayoral vote clinching the lead for Sarah. We probably have about 15mins left now Edit: vote for sart right before I posted -

If I'm correct we only have an hour left or less? I'm ready to throw down a mayoral vote for Amaiya I feel less sucpisous of him than the others, most of his arguments have been sound and well thought out and at this point that's the most I can go off of. Edit:I realized I wrote the wrong name I truely meant Mailliw but confused character names for a minute there -

I'm still voting for Gladium/Straw. His jumping on the bandwagon and then jumping right off furthered my suspicions against him.. He continues to offers little to know reasonings for his actions and hasn't offered any arguments in his defense. He bandwagon voted for both mayor and lynchings and that to me is way more fishy than starting a conversation about day 1 lynchings. -

jaimeleecee replied to Gamma Fiend's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I am completely put off by this Sarah lynching bandwagon.. I guess I just don't get it. I don't see an issue with any of Sart's posts and no one has given any good arguments other than something being off or that Sarah was trying to divert the conversation in the beginning. I'm just not buying it. -

Okay, I am going to be off for a bit (well that's not entirely true I will be driving for several hours so I might be bad and check the thread here and there but I definitely won't be typing and driving...) with that being said I wanted to put some stuff out there in case I don't have a chance to later. I have been trying to come up with careful arguments for why I'm choosing who I am but it's hard... Most of what I think is just gut feelings right now. I am voting for Gladium because his troll like post, even if that's all it is, bothers me it seems weird. Also the fact that the only other person who voted for him is someone who has all the votes right now and because no one trusts him why would they follow his vote, could be an elaborate ruse... Or nothing at all, but at least Straw might try and defend himself. As for mayor I'm not voting yet, I'm still not sure who I trust enough to give that responsibility to... ----------------------------------- Here is an update so far (I think) Lynch votes: Sarah/Sart(4): Keland, Mezal, Bugsy, Lomion Lorien/Conquestor(1): Cenn Trafalgar/DeathClutch(1): Tazrim Aan-alline/phattemer(1): Eryn Douza/Twei(1): Jak Gladium/Strawman (2): Sarah, Birgitte Cenn/Seonid(2): Alain, Phil Bill Ba'Alzamon/Elodin (1): Douz Eryn/Nyali (1): Lorien Llewella/AliasSheep (1): Ruon M'Hael/Haelbarde (1): Amaiya Jak/Lopen (2): Ba'Alzamon, Llewella Mayor votes: Mezal/Meta(3): Mezal, Keland, Lorien Jak/Lopen(3): Jak, Sarah, Phil Lomion/Elbereth(3): Amaiya, Gladium, Ruon Tazrim/Hellscythe(1): Tazrim Amaiya/Maillliw (1): Lomion Eryn/Nyali (1): M'Hael
