    Bah an extension!? on D1? Doesn't really seem necessary but oh well.. I'm going to another concert tomorrow and will be in a dead zone most of the day and all of the night, so mostly inactive and will certainly miss rollover.     I think its good to have an idea about the vote manipulations, sorry for completely leaving that out of my earlier post, there was a lot to catch up on from after I went to bed I'll throw my vote on Elodin I don't think he has posted yet either so maybe we will hear from him soon.

    I was going to add that I also started on an LG but your data is much more supportive than just what I did haha so thank you for that! Before I even start let me disclaimer here: this is going to be one of those posts where I intentionally contradict myself because I am looking at both sides of the argument and how I think either side could be possible. I have been called out on this before, by people saying my argument doesn't make sense, but this is my thought process, not an argument, I am sharing. For example, my internal debate on trying to support both sides I guess you could call it. This is how I approach everything in these games and in real life, always trying to understand how something could apply to either side of an argument or what someones motivations might be coming from either side. Thoughts on Elenion: I am trying to think WWJD (what would Jaime do ) if I were in his position right now. First off I am not really aggressive so that wouldn't be an issue but if I were being accused right now, on D1, I would have a very hard time defending myself... When there hasn't been any other interactions this game so far would I turn to my past play style as evidence to help me, probably, would I expect anyone to buy it, probably not. It's hard to find ways to defend yourself when nothing has happened so I understand why he has tried the methods he has so far. As for his suicide plan.. would I do that to, probably (not presented in the same way of course) but would I feel defeated like I don't know how to defend myself and would think "well I guess just lynch me then and when you see you are wrong hopefully it would have still helped in some way." So what I am trying to say is I can see how all of his attempts at self-preservation could be genuine and not motivated by eliminator alignment. This does not clear him for me however, because he is not me and even though I could see myself doing these things as a villager I can also see myself doing these things to stay alive as an eliminator, however my motivation for asking to be lynched would be hoping it would convince others that I'm not bad and spare me instead. All that being said my main point is that there is no way to conclusively determine anything about Elenion from what has happened so far. Villager or not he is an aggressive player, who would aggressively defend himself regardless of alignment. If we decide to go with lynching him I am fine with that since its impossible to be sure either way, but I agree with what others said, if he is not an elim I don't think we will learn much other than that.

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought this meant his alignment is neutral and his win-con is just to survive, not that he has a survival role.. that would make his win con too easy I do remember Joe saying there would be neutral roles with their own win-cons, but he could still just as easily be making it up from knowing that alone

    Huh.. so we have an actual bandwagon now and a role claim (Stink you may have just put a target on your back for anyone who just doesn't want to give you the satisfaction of achieving your own win ) .. now things are getting more interesting. I guess I'm a little confused by the bandwagon though, like others have already mentioned Elenion is acting exactly the same as MR15 D1, of course he could be using that strategy to his advantage since that's the only play style we have seen, but there's no way to tell. Kipper seem's the most eager to make that happen and I'm not sure I understand why and I don't really care for it.. however I seem to remember Kipper making me uncomfortable like this at the start of LG23 as well soooo.. yup confused all around sums it up nicely Also, I am pretty sure Elbereth said she would be inactive for the first cycle at least, so we shouldn't expect to hear from her.

    Sorry about my inactivity at the start of game, I was at an amazing concert last night and just could not be bothered sorry! I read a little this morning and just finished getting caught up. My activity will be spotty for the next week or so just because I have a lot of traveling and events coming up that are going to be fun and will take my attention away, also my relationship needed me to spend a little less time in front of the computer the last couple of weeks so if anyone is wondering why I dropped off the face of the earth in docs that is why sorry. I am getting back to some level of normalcy so bare with me here! Because of my potential spotty activity I am going to ask that if people really want a response from me on something to PM me (when it is allowed) as I am more likely to see that right away and respond rather than trying to stay caught up in thread when I am busy, but I will do my best. I have to admit am feeling a little lost starting out this game because of all the uncertainty with the elim roles, but this should prove to be very interesting to say the least!

    I completely agree!! As someone who as always been obsessed, I am glad to see others embracing it. But it is bizarre to me at the same time, I work with teenagers and I had one tell me about "this new game" on Tuesday, and I could not stop laughing to myself. She told me how "apparently this has been a thing for a while, I had never heard of it before but this game is so much fun" I wanted to facepalm so hard

    I am so obsessed XD its amazing.. when pokemon came out 20 years ago I was in elementary school and I was instantly hooked, I've played every game and all I ever wanted was to walk around and catch them in RL this is as close as I'm going to get I'm sure so childhood dream realized!

    Right, which doesn't clear him or you from being Derethi, but makes me feel like you're not Cultists because it would have been easy to save a teammate in that situation

    Sorry for my inactivity, for those of you playing MR15 you already know the deal Needless to say I am disappointed by the results of the lynch, I feel like our arguments to lynch Burnt instead were pretty reasonable to all but Cett. I didn't expect any of them to go for her, and I imagined that Penrod would still be bitter but given their vulnerability I also thought they would understand the importance of not allowing Cett to remain so much stronger than them. That being said, I am more suspicious of Burnt, because now I feel like she was protected from the lynch, continuing to target Aman is a perfect cover for not wanting to lynch one of your fellow spikes, isn't it? Seriously though? What alliance? I'm pretty sure no one in Penrod voted for anyone other than Aman and I am also pretty sure they hate us because of the Orlok lynch.. so where on earth are you getting an alliance from?

    Ookay, I've had more time to review things and a have a couple of thoughts. First of all, I agree that it makes sense to not shift around the senate too much (especially this early in the game) because, like others have said the villagers in the senate would become targets for the cultists. Those who remain undisturbed are more likely to be an eliminator. This is still a problem though, because we don't know if the senate started out in their favor or ours. They would have no reason to kill a village senator if they already hold the majority. Also, to comment on scanning senators, I honestly don't care either way. I think regardless of who gets scanned it is unlikely we can be sure of the results depending on who gets them. And if the senator being scanned gets their own results that ends up being a waste. At the same time the chances of that are slim and the benefit I think outweighs the cost. Its also important to remember that we have three competing win-cons here, and therefore they will have no reason to protect each other, so the only real risk is say a cultist in senate getting the results for another cultist, and so on. The chances of this are low however, and I don't see why a Derethi wouldn't out a cultist and vice versa. I agree that scanning results should be limited to alignment and not reveal roles as well, in the case of villagers, so that we aren't making an important role a big target. And finally, I absolutely believe that conqs teammates were involved in his lynching, I would be suspicious of anyone who changed last minute. Going over the doc I remembered last night that Bard was going to push the senate vote on the cloud which would have lynched cloud at the time but decided not to and to go with the conq lynch instead. I've tried to compare times votes were placed and I believe Bard could've pushed the lynch either way, which would make me fairly certain that he is at least not a Cultist.

    Just caught up from last night. Wow that was another lucky lynch! I need to more carefully review the senate doc when I can get on my computer (within the next hour or so, need to take the dog for a walk and get some dinner) in order to put some input towards the senate repeal. I will be fully active all day tomorrow that is a promise!

    Okay phew, some thoughts before I disappear again. This has been intesne so far! Lots of votes been tossed around, but hats what makes it SE right okay I don't have a ton of time especially after reading through everything. I'm sorry it's just bad luck that this started on a weekend! I'm going to vote for Elodin from what I have skimmed (admittedly this is not my most thought out vote I just haven't had the time) his responses have seemed somewhat suspicious and I have to say it's mostly gut. I'm probably not going to be able to post again after this so I'm sorry!
