Kumiko watched the other DA members fly off, and just as she was wondering where they went off to, the man next to her was replaced by two different men, both in power armor. "Run," one of them told her. She thought it over for a second, then decided that it would probably be best not to stick around. Besides, she thought, at least this gives me an excuse to leave. Standing up, she dropped her disguise, and switched her form to that of a cat. She started running through the crowd, dodging around people using her enhanced agility, not bothering with the looks she was getting. She looked at the hole the others had left through, and switched to rabbit, sprinting forwards as soon as she had a free path in the direction. When she came up to speed she jumped, switching to eagle as soon as her feet left the ground, letting the low weight carry her further and higher than should have been possible. As soon as she hit the wall she switched back to cat, climbing upwards, jumping between footholds, switching to eagle every time she wasn't touching the ground. When she reached the hole she took one last look at the ball room, then jumped through it, leaving.

No problem, I like the fact that actions have consequences. Also, how much will we be adhering to standard horror tropes? I sort of want to create a predictive list of who will die in which order.

Kumiko looked towards the creepy man next to her. "Well, sure," she said, sounding a bit annoyed. "But again, compared to what the alleys have it's kind of boring. I mean, even a Hazeslayer is much more effective than that dragon thing, and those have been around for what, at least seventeen years? And they're not even that good compared to what is stored in some of the other alleys apparently." She sat down at the table with the other DA members. Resting her head on her arms she continued talking in a bored tone. "I mean, I guess some people here might find it impressing? But I'm not quite sure why it's important enough that we should be here. It's crowded here, hot and well, just plain boring. I mean, if there was something interesting here it would be something else, but I can't understand why we'd have to attend the presentation for some third-rate science fair project. I kind of want to just go and kill everyone here, get these 'volunteers' and ask them if they want to leave with us. At least it would break the monotony."

So I have a couple of questions about this. They won't affect anything, they're just things I've been wondering about. First of all, why was Hellbent slashing at the tower base? Sure, he's a murderous sociopath (I think), but I'm not quite sure why he'd just go and try to destroy the whole place, it seems kind of a stupid thing to do, especially since if he did it to kill the others, since just stabbing everybody would be a lot easier and more effective. There's also the fact that he previously decided not to kill anybody because of how he'd probably need their help surviving, which makes it even weirder. Basically the only idea I have for him doing it is him being somewhat insane, not just a sociopath. Is that correct? Second, why does the shardblade bring the place down? Given that the cuts created by them are rather thin and really clean, it doesn't seem like the type of thing that can do real structural damage to the tower, not without a lot of cuts in multiple different places. Personal head-canon, the whole dimensional transit had already weakened the tower, and it just collapsed on its own, and what Hellbent did didn't actually affect it, or the damage Hellbent did was the final straw that brought everything crashing down.

Lisa stood in a corner, hugging herself, sickened by the sight of the corpses and the gore, feeling nauseous from the scent of blood. Walking away from the group she bend over, puking over the ground. Just when she was starting to recover she heard a large, groaning sound. Turning around she slowly watched the tower sag. "Oh no," she muttered in shock, and dove behind one of the few walls that were still somewhat intact, hoping that it would protect her from any stones flying her way.

Lilia saw the shadows snap forwards and grabbing Amara. Immediately she whipped her right hand's vines forwards, slashing at the shadows. However, at the same time shadows wrapped themselves around her left hand's vines. "Niðurbrot," she shouted, the spell activating, but doing nothing against the shadows. Starting to panic she started tugging with her vines, trying to get them loose.

Lisa silently started panicking at the prospect of opening the door. Quickly she grabbed a nearby piece of wood, holding near her to defend herself with it, but accidentely holding it in a way it was mostly useless. She quickly walked to the bottom of the stairs, getting in at the end of the queue, not wanting to get separated from the others.

Kumiko leaned in towards Lita and Okame, still in disguise. "Does anyone want to place bets on how 'voluntary' this was?" She whispered to them in a bored tone. "Also, doesn't this seem kind of boring compared to what the Alleys have?"

Lilia nodded, and her body grew tense. She stepped in front of Amara, vines spread around her. "Styrkja," she said, feeling the spell course through her.

Lilia nodded. "This place feels bad," she said in a softer tone. "It makes my leaves itch." She started walking into the alley, vines moving around her.

Alright, thanks.

At least, I'm assuming that the thing leaves its victims alive @ZincAboutIt?

Lisa noticed Lizanne and shook her head, trying to focus. "I'm alright, I think," she said slowly. "I just feel like that one time I managed to get a hangover." Managing to clear away most of the dizziness she looked at Lizanne. "How are you?" she asked, sounding concerned. "Also, do you have any idea of what just happened?"

Use proper scientific procedure when doing experiments.
-
Don't bring pineapples near Voidus. Don't bring pineapples into the alleys. Don't eat pineapples. Don't talk about pineapples. Actually just never do anything that involves pineapples, except possibly erasing them from existence.
-
Doesn't really matter to me either. Maybe we can get ambushed by the thing and end up in its lair so the rest finds us there?
-
Lisa clutched her head as she woke up. "Did I go to some college party again?" she muttered. Looking around she remembered what had happened. Seeing the damage of the room she checked herself for injuries, and when she didn't find any she stood up, grabbing hold of a nearby object to steady herself, feeling dizzy. "Ugh, what just happened," she muttered.

Not sure, but I think that was just Sorana and me, and I figured that your characters had already walked away from them when it happened.
-
Why is it being rolled back?
-
Lilia nodded. "Heads for left and tails for right?" She asked.
