  1. ...thanks for clearing that up. Although, after a while, the body could shut down the lungs if the brain recognizes that "Hey, continually tapping breath? Well, I don't need these anymore."
  2. ...the REQUIRED SECONDARY POWER of tapping weight is that your muscles get stronger proportionately, so, you wouldn't get crushed, but you would be able to move normally. And has anyone read BoM? Ettmetal devices can work with the Metallic Arts, so...someone could make a weightless ship with the help of a Skimmer, and use Pulsers and Sliders for FTL.
  3. Say someone could compound Cadmium, and therefore not ever have to breathe EVER...would their lungs eventually atrophy, or does THE REQUIRED SECONDARY POWERS of tapping Breath maintain the lungs?...same question with Bendalloy and the stomach.
  4. Upvote for the "he hugs dynamite" line.
  5. With enough storage, they could reach Bands level power. And, just think of the power...store Investiture a bunch, burn Steel, blow apart a city...
  6. ...I never thought of that...wait...I've got a better idea...spike someone so you could have both steel and iron, you would never have to walk again.
  7. It makes him collapse because it's a full sensory vision. VISIONS TEND TO DO THAT IN FICTION. It doesn't cause pain. Vin collapsed while burning Gold.
  8. ...so, Iron is kind of like Chromium and Duralumin, Feruchemically affecting outside things which affect the Feruchemist. (Chromium being probability values, and Duralumin being spiritual connection.)
  9. That would be awesome.
  10. ...nice. Finally, someone found uses for these metals. And...the feruchemy/duralumin compounding idea seems plausible.
  11. Eventually, if you get hurt enough, your body numbs to pain, especially if you had high pain tolerance in the first place.
  12. Hemalurgy. Preservation could read thoughts, Ruin could send them.
  13. ...Let's just sit back and think how awesome Mistborn: The Final Empire would be as a movie.
  14. I wouldn't put it past him to straight up hijack Ruin and Preservation briefly to resurrect himself.
  15. ...sorry. I'll just go...annoy Kaladin alongside Wit or something...
  16. My theory is that a Nicrosil-any other metal allomantically besides aluminum or duralumin Twinborn would be able to burn a metal, funnel the Investiture into a Nicrosilmind, and tap that while burning a metal to increase the power. Like, steel Pushes on metals, so, if John Doe burns Steel normally, he could steelpush a coin at about the speed and force of a musket shot. NOW, Imagine John burned steel, and filled his Nicrosilmind with thst Investiture. If John manages to annoy a Koloss into attacking him, then burns steel while tapping his Nicrosilmind, the Investiture stored powers up his Allomancy, making a single coin tear through that Koloss, and a few trees, before the Koloss could tear his head off.
  17. Well, I go off of the "electrum shows your possible futures" interpretation. Thus, the Electrum vortex is what COULD happen, but if you tap mental speed while burning Electrum, you could adjust what you would do based on what you see happen to your Electrum shadows. Conflicting viewpoints, I know, but you didn't have to shoot down my theory of an Electrum-Zinc twinborn being awesome based on your speculation...not FACT, SPECULATION. So, until Brandon denies one of our viewpoints with an in depth explanation of how Electrum actually works, don't shoot down my opinion, okay? My opinion is my opinion, and your opinion is yours.
  18. ...imagine a twinborn with Electrum allomantically, and Zinc Feruchemically. it'd be like self-atium, and you could actually make sense of the shadows.
  19. ...probably, by tapping all of the stored Investiture at once, while burning regular nicrosil, while touching another allomancer...allomantic nuke in terms of power. Even more than regular Nicrosil.
  20. ALL OF THE YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. ...where does he say that? I thought I noticed all the Wit humor...
  22. Koloss, or Koloss-blooded people? Because Tarson's a Thug, and he's a Koloss-blood.
  23. THAT...is a good idea.
  24. NOTHING is bigger than Kelsier's ego.
