  1. So excited!! Refreshing like mad in hopes I get #1
  2. I'm only here because a new person is offering cookies for once, which I assume means they are relatively safe. >.>
  3. If no one has done so yet, I would like to coin the afterimages as "Cognitive Dissonance™" because it's humorous.
  4. I like the theory that the Terris are not native to Scadrial, though, it makes it more difficult to explain why they have feruchemy......but, might help explain why Hoid went out of his way to help them when they were being slaughtered, perhaps he knows where they are from / have some relation.
  5. Curious thought, but if an Elantrian (Elantran? both look odd) wielded Nightblood, what would it drain? Dor? And if so, can you run out of Dor, or would he be unstoppable?
  6. Has there been any WoB on why only those with Terran blood can use Feruchemy?
  7. I wouldn't have wanted Szeth to die yet, he has to have a larger role in this story, I find him as important as Kaladin. I didn't like Jasnah's return though either, but I'll go with it. :/
  8. I'm not sure what my favorite death would be, but I also did not particularly care for Kelsier coming back. With death meant something, and him coming back really changes that, to an extent, at least. I wonder now where that is going to go.
  9. I asked that question in San Antonio and he did not confirm or deny
  10. Not a sighting, but it was signed I asked him to put something about aluminum
  11. Honestly though Rayse stands out as a super jerk, you have to wonder how "nice" any of them were considering they felt a need to destroy a god/power and take that power for themselves. Granted we don't know the intent as this juncture. Either the other shardbearers don't know how much of a jerk Rayse is (I can't imagine they would willingly want someone who will end up trying to kill them later), or he was flat out necessary to the cause, and the enemy of your enemy is your friend, so to speak. I'm a bit curious to why the other shards don't seem to be coming together to stand up to Rayse, unless they don't realize his intent yet, but that would seem silly to me since Hoid seems to know just fine.
  12. I wish I could remember his exact wording at this point Though I don't know how in depth we can look into Sanderson's exact wording at these things, I imagine he is tired and rushed. Next time though I'm recording.
  13. Also if you read Secret History, even without Sanderson in an interview, well without getting a "spoiler" I believe it possibly answers your question?
  14. Has there been any discussion on the difference and similarities between the three? Obviously the Seons and Skazed are fairly similar. I really don't have much to add but I was curious, and figured I'd start a topic if there isn't one so smarter people could comment and I could steal your knowledge
  15. Ah okay I didn't know Sanderson made an official statement on that, much thanks
  16. I rather figured that forum was only for posting theories and not also general discussion/questions. Otherwise the description is not very specific
  17. Just curious, there are forums for all the books but not a general Cosmere discussion forum for topics that do not necessarily fit neatly into one book, but rather the Cosmere as a whole?
  18. As the title says, curious question. It is clear Hoid is able to go into Shadesmar and use the shard pools to Worldhop. He was using the Pits of Hathsin to Worldhop. If this is so, why was he unable to find the Well while he was in Shadesmar? Does he have to know a general location first?
  19. *blushes* I always felt like the Shards are exactly what they are, they're basically parts that, in many ways, all humans have. We want to preserve, but we also want to ruin, we love, we hate, we want to grow things, we have honor...sometimes we don't. Adonalsium sounds very human to me, with all the parts combined. I think the Vessels just got which one they were connected to the most. Kind of like when Ganon touched the triforce...he got Power, Link got Courage, Zelda recieved Wisdom. Yeah, nerdy Zelda reference, but the same, I think.
  20. On paper I had "Is Threnody in the same planetary system as Sel?" with an after question of "If not, how close?" In case he said no. I remember asking and I'd bet a foot he said "Yes, it is." I remember because I remember thinking "wow that one was easy" and then I did not ask the follow up as there was no need, so I went onto the next question. But oh well, always possible I am wrong, though certainly not on purpose. I shall remember to record next time, if I didn't scare Sanderson away from the San Antonio area for good. At least we know now for sure, even if your theory did not work out
  21. I asked him exactly the way I typed it "Is Threnody in the same planetary system as Sel?" and he said it was :/
  22. Don't make me bring Hoid back, I can make him bite.
  23. Oh I know Elend was important to the fall of Ruin...but, how does Hoid know this? I wonder how far into the future he can see, and he can see, and why he can see these things. Le sigh, I can ask questions about Hoid all day.
