  1. Feedback from the election is important. This might be useful in later cycles, but I don't think it's particularly useful right now.
  2. Hmm, I like that Fifth Scholar didn't vote for themself. Might as well put my vote on him for now.
  3. This guy? His name is Ulmo and he does look pretty cool.
  4. Hi, if you guys are interested in making Mafia games, I'd recommend taking a look at The Art of Game Creation thread in the Sanderson Elimination section. It's dedicated to making Sanderson themed Mafia games, and there are a lot of experienced players who can give you feedback. Also, looking at some of the past games in the Sanderson Elimination section could be useful. There have been over 100 different games, so there are a lot of places to get ideas from.
  5. I just kind of threw in a ton of random quirks (two spaces after sentences, emojis before periods, british spelling, votes in the forum text colorer instead of BBcode, and no contractions or abbreviations.
  6. Well that was a fun game! I had a lot of fun altering my speech, but no one seems to have noticed.
  7. I used a Zalgo text generator. Ì͇̳̪͈ͅͅt͚̭͍'̨̜͚̼͚ͅs̶̺͙̘͚̹͎ ̧̠̯p҉̗̹͕̹̮̗r̤̻e͓̝̞͉ṯ̞̺̦̣͙t̨͚͈̖̝̹y̱͔̹̺͎ ̼̞̜̗̝c̨o̧̤̭̝̹̬̪ͅol̴͖͍!̜͎̱̲̮͕
  8. The Inquisitor stood in the streets of Luthadel, surrounded by a mob of citizens. As they surrounded her, she saw that one person was missing from the crowd. As she died, she smiled, knowing that Ruin had found a new servant. Elandera has died! She was T̴̶̡̖̹̼͉̰͈̗̖̩̺̘͔̣̩͍̩̼̲h̴̜̺̲e̛̖̳̤͙̪̭̤̘̻̭̻̖̘̪͢͝͡ ̶̡̝̩̻̦̮̘̲̙͇̫̭͔͈̞̼̬͞Í҉̝̬̞͕͇͘n̵̴͉̝̣̝̘̩̜̥̯͓̹͉͈̘͟͡͡q̷̧̣̩̻̤͔̲͔̞͉͍͘ú̸͔̼͙͙̜͙͉͎̯̬̙̜̳i͜҉̙͇̩̥̮͖͉̙̥̤̩̞͍̳̤̩͟ͅs̸̛͉̹̺̗̻͓̙̣̜̮̪̙͎̙͈͚͕͉i̸̵̷̝̼̫̳̫̣̼̮̞̟͠͞t̴̨͍͈̤͍̯̲̖̖̟͠ó̸̠̥̯̮͠ŕ̬͚̫͈̱̭̭̩͇͉̰̖͓̲̲̹͇̤̻͘̕! 9. The turn is over! Aftermath will be up soon.
  10. The Inquisitor stumbled between the buildings of Luthadel. They had barely survived a mob of citizens attacking them, and now pewter was the only thing keeping them alive. Suddenly, a coin shot from the roof of a building and slammed into the Inquisitor. As the coinshot walked away, confident that their job was done, the Inquisitor dragged themself into the building where Tereval was sleeping and drew their knife. Perhaps the citizens would leave them alive long enough to create another servant of Ruin. Elandera was attacked, but survived! Lumgol has died! They were a Tineye. GM Notes: PMs are open. Due to the fact that this turn probably won't have much going on, it will end early. Will you let the Inquisitor live? The Day will end on August 16th, at 4:00 PM EST. Tineye Message #1: One little Spiked buddy hiding in the crowd, The crowd thinned out; and then there were none. Sorry Elandera, you were really unlucky this game. If it hadn't been for the streak of roleless/blocked deaths, you'd have had a much better change at winning the game, since no-one really suspected you until the last cycle. Player List:
  11. I have to go in a few minutes, so the turn is ending 5 minutes early.
  12. Conversions are during the night turn only.
  13. [I'm a bit sick right now, but I'll try to write something later.] Elandera was lynched, but survived! Vote Count: Elandera (4): Haelbarde, Doc12, Fifth Scholar, Young Bard Young Bard (2): Rathmaskal, STINK STINK (2): shanerockes, Elandera Snipexe (1): Sart GM Notes: PMs are open. 14. Opal Ghetti walked away from the graveyard. She had left her spike there to mourn those who had fallen at the hands of Inquisitor. As Opal was about to enter the rest of the city, she turned around and saw a shadowy figure leaving the graveyard, holding the spike she had left. As Opal ran after the figure, she felt a stabbing pain in her back, and fell over dead. Burnt Spaghetti has died! She was a Vanilla! GM Notes: PMs are open. The cycle will end on August 14th, at 4:00 PM EST. I'm going to be busy that day, but I'll see if I can do rollover at the normal time. No one is currently in immediate danger of dying from the activity filter. Parts of the writeup are based on some RP that Burnt sent to the dea doc. If you die you'll get to read it. Tineye Message #1: What do you call a fight between two Coinshots? A Boxing Match Player List:
  15. Nevene had been afraid of the Inquisitor ever since she'd come to Luthadel. She had seen how dangerous they were, and had planned countless ways to escape them. However, Nevene unexpectedly came under attack from the people she had been hiding with, a motley mix of skaa and nobles. As the cheering crowd tore her to pieces, Nevene could only think about the irony of the situation. Devotary of Spontaneity has died! They were a Vanilla. Vote Count: Devotary of Spontaneity (5): Haelbarde, Burnt Spaghetti, Doc12, Elandera, Fifth Scholar Doc12 (2): Sart, STINK GM Notes: PMs are open. The Night will end on August 12th, at 4:00 PM EST. No one is currently in immediate danger of dying from the activity filter. Player List:
  16. I just found out that I have to do some stuff with my family. Would people prefer to have a late rollover, or to have the end of the day delayed until tomorrow?
  17. Yeah, if you refresh, you'll see that I posted it, and then edited his death info it in right after it was posted.
  18. [I'm still busy, so no writeup for now.] Araris Valerian has died! He was an Unsnapped. GM Notes: PMs are open. The Day will end on August 10th, at 4:00 PM EST. @Lumgol and @shanerockes did not post last cycle. They will be killed by the activity filter if they do not post this cycle. Tineye Message #1: My vision is clouded. I consult the entrails of a chicken, searching for answers, but I only find more questions. Three signs are clear, yet unclear at the same time. The first, the sign of the kandra, a sign showing layers of deception and manipulation, the extent of which we may not yet realize. Where the root of the deception is, the entrails do not say. The second, a spike, a symbol of dark arts that should never be practiced. This one seems obvious - a sign of the Inquisitor, the foul abomination on their indefatigable mission. But yet, is that not also a warning to us, that in our haste and our paranoia we may ourselves commit dark deeds that should never even be spoken of? After all, it is not the Inquisitor that killed MaiKall, Variel and Voidapple. The third, a skull - you do not need an augur to say that death is on the horizon, but for who? The Inquisitor, or for those who chase him? I consult the entrails, and I leave even more confused than when I arrived. Player List:
