  1. someone with cadmium would work alongside a team of snipers to take out a target(s). Have your cadium guy in civilian clothes/disguise trap his targets in a bubble, gives his sniper friends time to get into a position and line up their weapons.
  2. read secret history, it doesn't quite give you what you want, but.......
  3. In one WOB he stated that Odium was aware of harmony, and was scared of him or something Also, I think I read somewhere that Odium took some sort of measure against Harmony (BoM?)
  4. that depends..... a regular novel size or a sanderson novel size.....
  5. I read that somewhere myself, but I forgot where. Also, a tineye would make a great Sherlock Holmes-esk character
  6. Its almost like reading a book series out of order.....
  7. Ah, since most of your Brandon Sanderson books are mistborn, you probably dont know this. Any book refered to as part of the 'Cosmere' are all in a connected universe. Bands of Mourning had a lot of Cosmere implications that may have been lost on you. Don't worry, I didn't even know this after having read almost all of his books....... Also, welcome to the forums!
  8. So stormlight turns you into what you consider yourself? We must never let tumblr get stormlight.......
  9. Kaladins brands didn't heal, so maybe if you brand yourself.....
  10. What if its a person and a planet? Plenty of people have named cities and countries after themselves, it's not much of a stretch to imagine that someone would do the same for a planet they created
  11. Flare pewter, fire a gun Flare pewter, ring a church bell Inhale stormlight while playing hide-and-seek storing iron (feruchemy) on a very windy day ironpulling a caltrop ironpulling a flail ironpulling anything heavy really
  12. which does beg the question..... Why can't harmony just give a guy the same power as the Lord Ruler? Seems like wax would have a much easier time of things.....
  13. I find the character makes the name distinctive. EX: Basically anyone from Scadrial or roshar I could name, but anyone from...... say...... 6th of the dusk or warbreaker will escape my mind, because those characters made less of an impact to me.
  14. If you are talking about shardplate, I'm pretty sure that stuff shares the properties of stone, only much tougher. It shatters rather than breaking, its natural color is slate-grey, and in roshar stone seems to be the equivalent of metal on Scadrial.
  15. Nightwatcher got ya good eh?
  16. I believe you level up at the bonfire, but it has been years since I booted up dark souls
  17. They are on PC as well, and aren't paticularly graphically intesive
  18. I feel like there is more to it than that, but I see it as entirely possible. I can't think of an argument against it, so why not?
  19. Well, its controls are complex, and its gameplay is very different from conventional games, and this disconnect from the norm is what has given it the label of 'superhard'. Once you get the mechanics down, the game is challenging, but not evil. Your first playthrough of the game is typically 150 hours long, so you will get your moneys worth. The series has some of the most interesting combat and lore, and the closest I can compare it to is elantris. You play as an undead, and each time you die you get closer to going Hollow, a state where you lose your sanity and prey upon other undead in a desperate attempt to reclaim what was lost. You travel through the ruins of a once grand civilization, trying to discover some way to stave off the inevitable madness, all the while learning about what led the kingdoms you traverse to their ends. It's stupidly fun. these are some of the trailers to dark souls 2 and here are two to dark souls 3 (coming april 12) I'm a massive fan of these games, so I am not an unbiased source. EDIT: didn't know it would put the videos in the post, can someone tell me how to put them in a spoiler tab?
  20. I eat nails for breakfast, nothing but Dark souls, Dark Souls 2, XCOM, and Planetside for me!!! and yes, the nails may have been inquisitor spikes fyi
  21. And thus the Kazoo was born, and the entire cosmere cried in dismay
  22. What!? Where was this!? I'm rereading all of the cosmere novels, because on my first go through I didn't realise they were connected (To my eternal shame, at one point I said, "huh, I seem to see the name Hoid alot. Weird, probably nothing"), and I have yet to stumble across this scene
