    I can understand that perspective on the color scheme. May I ask if you had similar issues with the old version? It had a very similar white color scheme. As for the new posts, that is a thing actively on my agenda today. It didn't turn out good enough on the live site compared to us testing. Someday there could be other skins that are darker, but it is more effort than is immediately obvious. Actually i didn´t have such issuses with the old version. Maybe it was because the background had more colour or it was because the orange from a new post worked as a contrast, i don´t know. To update my opinion: I´m already starting to getting used to the design, but i still find it steril and lifeless (i believe it will always be tolerating rather than liking). Also i find the site works far better now, thanks for that

    Is there an option to change the colours? I find the white design somewhat steril and lifeless and frankly i just don´t want to look at it. Additionally i find it hard to notice that there are new posts if the lines are just thicker instead of another colour.

    A combination of intervies and books i believe. You can get many things about the shards from the books, but i at least had to read some interviews to get the whole picture. (The shattering of Adonalsium, Adonalsium itself, the number of shards, etc)

With some luck i survive the coins and can pretend to be dead to get better again, against Szeth i would have a sharddead arm at best Would you rather have the alethi think you´ve stolen a shardblade or have the parshendi think you ate their dead? (you didn´t do either they just think you did)

    Really cool what you got there, is there maybe a program/site to play online with self-made cards? Was it intentionally to have Syl and Pattern in diffrent collors than Kaladin and Shallan (it makes sense for Kaladin since he transforms into the right collors, but Shallan not only has other collors on both sides, but these are the enemy collors to black)? Also "Surge of Radiance" is the defending of the bridge at the tower, but i didn´t find a card for when bridge4 decided to head back and save Dalinar. Maybe it´s just me but i think this is one of the more important events since it shows how kaladins way of thinking changed.

    My collection is a bit small but will grow soon (yay new books for my birthday^^) Mistborn: Final Empire, Well of Ascencion, Hero of Ages (german) Mistborn: Alloy of Law (german), Shadows of Self (english), Bands of Mourning (english) Elantris (german) The Emperors Soul+Legion+Infinity Blade (german) Warbreaker (english) Way of Kings, Words of Radiance (english) Additionally i have the following as E-books Mistborn: Secrete History (english) Sixth of the Dusk (english) Shadows for Silence in the Forest of Hell (english) Perfect State (english) Firstborn (english) You can see where i caught up to the new releases by the language of the book. I started to buy them in german but i can´t wait for the new books to be translated (i tried for Shadows and Bands but they took to long...). To my knowlege he never went to germany an doesnt plan to in the near future, but when he does i´m going to get each and every one of my books signed^^ Also i have the White Sand Word-document, but didn´t want to list it with the rest because it´s not officially released (and actually isn´t even 100% canon)

    Since Feruchemy just gives you the abilities to store attributes and tap the stored attributes from your metalminds and neither is used for what you propose (semi-compounding?) i believe you would, but you wouldn´t have direct control over how much speed you get. Your speed would depend on how much steel you´re burning, thereby releasing the stored speed at a rate proportional to how much you flare your steel.

    I believe it´s because Elorin changed faith to Kershtianism because the Sandlord appeared before him. Most people (including myself) believe that the Sandlord is in fact Autonomy, so he seems to have something against them since he kind of helped to destroy them.

    Actually i think we can generally assume that the physics are the same as on earth. With the different magic-systems we get effects which obviously wouldn´t work on earth but how these effect interact with the world follows our rules of physics.

    I believe i´ve read somewhere that Sanderson said White Sand will have a sequel but it will be a graphic novel from the start. Seems like we can´t cheat the release date for the sequel

    My guess would be it could grant you a different power but not an entirerly new one. So you could change one kind of misting to another kind, or make a misting out of a mistborn (making a mistborn out of a misting should be possible but extremly difficult). But you can´t soulstamp a misting into a surgebinder and vice versa

    Granted your cat now has all feruchemical abilities (although he/she probably doesn´t understand that and can´t use them because of that) Your Bane is that all memories of you and your family are now erased from your cats memory, with no possibility that they can be restored I wish to be the best cook who ever lived.

    Now i´m wondering if someone with scadrial parents but who is born on another planet could be an allomant, since he wouldn´t have a connection with harmony.

    I think a breath only counts partly as spark of life because it just gives an object a "desire" (so to speak) to act in an specific way, but not full sentience and since a breath is just a bit of innate Investiture, maybe you could imitate it with nicrosil compounding. (Or the object could share your spark when you form a bond with it) I don´t think you could create an exact copy of yourself, even if you store all your memories (even in multiples) and your identity. It would become something similiar to you, but since the object you´re working with has its own cognitiv and spiritual self it would be something else. Also i just thought about it but time could also be an important factor, at least if your working witch feruchemy. Since you can´t mix the metals, because it would be a new alloy, you would probably have to wait sometime, so that the object considers itself as one and not many parts and maybe the sentience also needs time to form itself. Here i think a breath could work as a cataclyst, with the "desire" to act. But we also have to remember that we are working with two diffrent kinds of investiture, so maybe it wouldn´t work because of interference.

    After i thought about it for a bit i think you don´t even necessarily need to awaken the object, it could be enough if you could compound aluminium and duraluminium (also copper if you want to have any influence on the character of the entity). Basicly you just have to fill the object you want to have sentience with absurd amounts of Identity and Connection. Identity so that it has a sentience (sense of self) and Connection so that it can communicate with others (form a bond) (i also think it would need connection because otherwise it could be self aware but wouldn´t know there is something beside itself). Now we have an object which has sentience and can conect to the outside world, but it would develop it´s own unique character. Because of the stored connection it would know it´s place of origin and probably have feelings to the people who are close to you, but without the context of your memories these feelings could lead to bad or tragic resulst, so to be safe you probably should give it some (with copper compounding) (this way you could also avoid the trouble nightblood is having with not knowing what evil ist because of the missing context)

    Since healing works by recreating how a person sees itself it could be a possible sideeffect of stealing bodies that they change to fit his cognitive self.

    When was Aether of Night written? Because most sources i find about it are from between 2011 and 2014 while the first Lightbringer bokk was published in 2010.

    Do you mean that Sanderson was influenced by Weeks? Because Aether is still unpulished (and i´m not sure if you are allowed to discuss it here because of that)

    I could not agree more with you, have an upvote. Actually the more i read Secret history the more he seemed like a villian. The whole thing with cheating/ not accepting death and trying to find a way back to life...i´ve often read things with these tropes but it were always the villians doing it, just felt wrong to me on a fundamental level. Right now i have a theory that Kelsier stored his entire being in a spike. Hemalurgy normaly rips out part of the soul, so it could be possible to rip out more or even the whole thing. Since there is no more Atium around for immortality (at least i think so) this could be the next best wayfor immortality. Find someone you trust, store your being in a spike, let someone be spiked and take over their body. After they/you grow too old find someone else you trust and let him use your spike to spike someone else and steal a new body. Since Hemalurgy degrades the power if not inside a body, the person in the spike could get more and more warped and become someone truly monstrous...

    Steel fering. No matter what magicsystem, no matter what game i always want to be fast, because in most cases if someone is considerably faster than you you are going to lose(even if it could take some time).

    The Cherulean Sea is small enough to cross in about a day with a magical "motorboat" (made by creative use of the magicsystem) ,not sure if (WoR) theories have to be spoilered . The magic system seems sandersonian to me firstly because it has clear limitations (the core principle is you can create matter from light with each color having diffrent propeties) but can be used extremly creativly and secondly there is an outside source for the magic (light). Especially the last part is a constant for more or less all of sanderson cosmere works
