I don't think the spirit being broken would have as much of an effect as it being argumented. As Weltall said, Savants seem to have no complications, while Hemarulgists and Returned do. The biggest difference between these groups is that Hemarulgists and Returned have argumented souls. Hemarulgists, for example, contain all the sDNA of their victims, and Returned likely have a very small amount of original sDNA remaining, most of their soul having been replaced with endowment's investiture. I would assume that this confuses the sDNA of the child, causing the complications we see
2. Hey Zan! Welcome to the forums! Have an upvote I can second the recomendation for stormlight, but stormlight is a book to read once you trust him. There's a lot of exposition, which isn't necessarily bad, but it makes it a bit difficult for first-time readers. Stick with it if you start it, it's worth it Also, here are links to Emperor's Soul and a draft of Warbreaker. Both are free to read, which is really nice As for the cookies, they're filled with spikes. This means that they're an excellent source of iron, but it also means they are prone to destroy your free will
3. Hello! Welcome to the forums! Have an upvote I'm usually more talkative, but homework beckons. One last word of advice: don't eat the cookies
4. Hello, everyone. I skimmed the previous cycle really quickly, and I'm rather suspicious of Ecthilion. I mean, we know that either the elims didn't attack last night or attacked Wilson. The latter seems significantly more likely. That makes me wonder what would cause Ecth to vote on Wilson as soon as the cycle started; she was the target, and it seemed like Ecth just wanted to finish her off and do the eliminator's job for them. That said, I still feel like lynching Nathan would be good. He seemed rather evasive when discussing with me, and we don't stand to lose nearly as much if we mislynch him, compared to an active player.
5. Hello! Welcome to the forums! What Sanderson books have you read so far? Which were your favorite? Let me know if you post any theories! Oh, and if you're offered cookies, don't take them. They're spiky
6. No problem, I'm always happy to welcome a new member Heh, thanks. Ok, cool. Here's the link to Emperor's Soul, a novella by Brandon. I think you'll like it Edit: Huh. The link isn't working. You can find it if you just google "Emperor's Soul PDF". It's free online, so you can read it without having to buy the book
7. Hello! Welcome to the forums! Have an upvote Hablo un poco español porque necesito lo hablar para mi escuela, pero hablo más inglés. Mi español se están mejorando, pero para ahora no es bueno I hope you have a wonderful time here! Which Cosmere books have you read so far? Which was your favorite? Edit: Oh, and your English is excellent. Don't worry
8. Hey, welcome to the forums! What Cosmere books have you read? Which were your favorite? Oh, and if you get offered a cookie, don't take it. It's spiky
9. Cool! Yeah, you should be able to therorize spoiler-free. By the White Sand excerpt, I assume you mean the graphic novel? I was rather impressed with that myself. In fact, that's what convinced me to look at the rest of his works, so I'm very glad he did well with them The only Sanderson books I haven't read are IB and Alcatraz, but I can reccomend Firstborn. It was very interesting. No problem, in regards to the welcome. We try to be a nice and wecoming community here, and we're always happy to see new people. Heh. Nice. I think I like you
10. Hey Jude! (Lol) Welcome to the forums! In the future, it'd be best if you comment on threads that are more relevant to the comment you're making. I'm pretty sure we have a topic about TMG optioning the Cosmere, so this should probably be there, instead Thanks! Hope you have fun here
11. Hello! Welcome to the forums! Have an upvote Here, you'll find excellent discussion partners for the philosophy, psychology, literature, and video game aspects of your interest. As for strength training, I don't know of anyone here sharing that interest, but I'm sure there's someone. I personally enjoy running, which is sort of similar at least It appears that you've read pretty much the entire Cosmere except white sand, some of the novellas, and (possibly) Era 2 of Mistborn. You should be relatively safe from spoilers, but I'd still recomendar reading the rest asap. I agree in regards to Emperor's Soul; it seems as if the plot was designed to take the backseat to character development, a choice that resulted in an outcome I, personally, loved. Have you read anything by Pierce Brown? He's a phenomenal author I think you'd like, based on your other favorites. Dorks are in no short supply here. I, for one, am proud to count myself among their numbers Don't take any cookies you're offered (they're spiky), and have fun therorizing! Edit: So, it turns out you've read the novellas, as clarified in your edit . If you talk about the plot of the new Lift story, it'd be appreciated if you use spoiler boxes, since it's relatively new. You can do this with
Spoilery stuff
12. Hello, welcome to the forums! (I promise I'm usually more talkative, but my teacher is giving me the evil eye)
13. I'm actually in support of a lynch on Nathan. Something feels off about him this game, based on conversations we've had. (Night turns only, I promise )
14. Hello! Welcome to the forums! Have an upvote I hope you enjoy your stay here at the forums! How much do you know about the Cosmere? Which of Brandon's works are your favorite? Oh, and if someone offers you cookies, don't take them. They're spiked

Hello

Was that a misquote? I'm not new
16. If you want to avoid the whole ML/Image recognition, you could have different tools for different lines. Or, since you already have circle recognition, you could simply add the ability to pick bind points, and then allow for lines of forbiddance to be drawn between them by selecting the 2 points. Edit: Looks like you got a bit of a head start on that. Nevermind
17. Wow, Argent, nice. You not only made an innuendo, you did it in a way that makes you look innocent and also makes sure everyone gets that it's one. Bravo Interesting choice of words

Hello

Lerasium shouldn't be a spoiler. It's the name of the metal Vin gives Elend at the end of Well of Ascention. You might be confused because it's never mentioned by name, but it doesn't spoil anything at least. (It can be hard to know what spoilers are and aren't in the Cosmere section, so I'd recommend reading everything you can before venturing down that particular rabbit hole) Oh, and there's no need to thank us for the warm welcome. Here at the shard, we just try to be nice in general. You'll fit in, from the looks of it
19. No problem! I think (and hope) you'll find we're a predominantly friendly community. We're always happy to see new members Elantris was pretty good as well. I prefer the writing style he shows in some of his later works, but I really liked the plot there. You can accept any food you come across, so long as you bring it through a metal detector before eating it. You should be safe from the spikes that way

Hello

Anyone who tells you they fully understand the Cosmere is mistaken or lying. There's still a lot of information we don't have. We don't even entirely know what we don't know Elantris is good, but it's not as high quality as some of his other writing, since it was his first published novel. It's still amazing, but not quite representative of his writing ability in my opinion. Don't judge it too harshly when you read it The cookies are spiked. While that makes them an excellent source of iron, it unfortunately means they'll Ruin your free will.
21. Hello! Welcome to the forums! Have an upvote! I'm usually faster to respond than this, but my email notifications keep breaking for some reason. What Cosmere books have you read? All of them but the 2 you mentioned? Which are your favorite? My favorite is Mistborn, and I really like Sazed as well (although I prefer Ten Soon ) People may try to commission drawings for cookies. Don't take them. While the cookies are excellent sources of steel, iron, copper, zinc, bronze, gold, atium, etc., they tend to be detrimental to both your free will and spirit. One could say that they'd Ruin your life.

Hello

Hello! Welcome to the forums! Have an upvote What Sanderson books have you read so far? Do you know about the Cosmere? Oh, and if someone offers you a cookie, don't take it. It's dangerous PS: Have you read Warbreaker and Emperor's Soul? If not, you can get free PDF copies online. I'll find the links if you want
23. I feel like it's unlikely that Nathan's a traitor. Given the way this game works, I doubt Wyrm would select completely inactive players for the eliminator team, at least at the beginning. I'd suggest we lynch someone who poses more of a threat to us, if possible
24. I disagree with Arinian's seeming aversion to lynching, since that is the primary (and only confirmed) tool the village has in this game. As such, I am more suspicious of him than most others right now. If necessary, I will vote on him later to cause a lynch, but I would prefer if the village came to a consensus on a target instead as I don't have any solid leads right now
