  1. Eryn chuckled. “He is ruler of South. Still around being busy. So we wait. Meantime, run people anyway. Sometimes Sovereign comes visit. Made choc for him few times. He likes sweets.”
  2. Someone on Reddit accidentally found out. I assured them the series wasn’t ruined but that the end of book one might be a little confusing...
  3. “Maybe excited?” Eryn suggested. “Is new thing for her. Sage likes learn things.”
  4. “Sovereign,” Eryn answered automatically. Then she paused, thinking. “Supposedly, anyway. But he leave so we have other ways run thing until he return. This was centuries ago. We have Hunter leaders who make policy until Sovereign return. Also emissary of five peoples to make policy for all.”
  5. Eryn nodded. “Cold for us. Not for you maybe. Live in great caverns where make things warm. Go to forests some time, gather choc beans. Many fields outside. Keep animals there. Inside warm, with much lights. Is very pretty.”
  6. “Very far,” Eryn explained. “Other side of world, in Sovereign’s lands.”
  7. There is a word of Brandon that indicates that Nicrosil works in a similar manner to copper: something distinct (memory/investiture) is removed from the individual and is later restored. This may mean that Kell could permanently, via compounding, give Spook Feruchemical Atium. If nothing else, a medallion would make him an Atium Ferring for awhile (Nicrosil minds seem to be slow to run out), and Kelsier would probably replace it as needed.
  8. Eryn smiled at Zola. “From South now,” she affirmed.
  9. Just to point out: AC allows you to theoretically go anywhere as soon as you complete the tutorial. Pre-Syndicate games didn’t really have much of a leveling up system - I beat Rogue without once getting more health, for example. Later games do have a level up system, but you can still go anywhere. The enemies you’ll meet are just much stronger though. This can easily be true in your game: bigger houses have hazekillers and allomantic teams. Kredik Shaw has Inquisitors (pre-Rashek’s death) and so on. I think, especially considering the similarities between genres, you might want to consider utilizing something closer to the AC type of game. Open world exploring, with a major focus on stealth, both of which suit Mistborn well.
  10. Clearly, threatening the competition works... Well, Kelsier will think so anyway, seeing as MeLaan didn’t show up. We are NOT allowed to vote for ourselves, right?
  11. Aon Daa is the preferred offensive weapon of the Elantrians. When drawn successfully a burst of light is emitted that warps and twists the air around it. The light then strikes its target with considerable explosive force.[7] did it sound like anti light to you? It sounds like Balefire, actually.
  12. We don’t know of anything that would do that, no. Or at least not that would occur in Mistborn. (Things involving Connection to Preservation might.) However, many more advanced allomantic techniques can only be unlocked through practice and experience, so that could work as an explanation. It can also be noted that your character gets better at pushing themselves and utilizing their metals over time.
  13. @DramaQueen It’s Wednesday! Looking forward to your roast! Remember: you haven’t actually read mine yet!
  14. I’m currently rereading the Mistborn annotations. And Mistborn itself. I want TLM so badly...
  15. I don’t think Kelsier himself will be the serial killer. It doesn’t make sense for him to be doing the killings personally. I actually think the MMSK will belong to the Set, although I can’t exactly explain why. It just makes more sense to me. (Shrugs.) We know Kell is going to be a major character in Era 3, so I’d expect him to have full viewpoints and be actively involved in the major plot lines. I do think he will ultimately remain a protagonist, but it’s not going to be nearly as straightforward as in Era 1.
  16. I’ve read them all... What else is there to do between books?
  17. “Am from South,” Eryn said simply.
  18. “You stay,” Eryn affirmed. The child was hers now, for as long as she wished to be.
  19. “Know that,” Eryn agreed. “But make Basil happy.”
  20. Eryn scowled. “Stays with me,” she said firmly. “I watch. Beside, Ascendant One only twice age when kill old ruler-god up here.” She had learned the Northerners history. It was... interesting, to say the least.
  21. Eryn nodded. “That one,” she pointed at Basil, “hiring us. Showing us mine now.”
  22. “Worst fears,” Kell said dryly. “Do we even have those?” He shook his head lightly, smirking. “Besides, I said I’m in, didn’t I? You don’t have to convince me, David. My crew can handle itself just fine without me for awhile. Would do them good. ”But what about you?” He added, pouring himself another glass. “Fox have any opinions on this escapade?”
