That's how I started too, and it's a method I'd recommend @StrikerEZ. If you're not already invested in the show, some of the Classic Who episodes come off boring or cheesy. (Please take this statement with a grain of salt; I've only watched a few eps of Classic Who.) And you definitely want to watch the stuff since the 2005 reboot in the order it was aired because there are plenty of references to earlier episodes. If you just started with David Tennant and skipped Christopher Eccleston (or started with Matt Smith and skipped Eccleston and Tennant), you'd miss some fun inside jokes. ("Are you my mummy?" for example.)

I found several cool birds today with a couple of friends. =D (And got some photos too!) We saw @Kestrel's namesake nomming on some sort of smallish animal while sitting on a power line. (Fear not; the photos aren't graphic. Unfortunately, they're not high quality either. I had the settings on my camera all wrong.) We found lots of ducks and geese, plus a few seagulls on a pond. Here's a faraway shot I took of a crowd of them: There were also a few of these American Coots on the pond. This guy was really friendly, like he wanted us to throw him some bread. Those are all my reasonably okay photos from today, but the coolest birds were ones I wasn't able to photograph: a Ring-necked Pheasant, a pair of ravens, and a Merlin! I have a similar issue with people grabbing CDs or DVDs with their fingers. Guys, it has a hole in the middle so you don't have to do that and get it all smudgy!

That moment of extreme self-control when you have to stop yourself from correcting the grammar of a Tweet that's 6 months old...

Brandon's novella Snapshot got optioned for a movie deal, even though it hasn't even been released yet. Just today, the title for Star Wars Episode VIII was announced: The Last Jedi. Oh and Cosmere chat on Discord kinda exploded in population. A ton of people from Reddit came over and now there are way more people than were ever in there when it was just Cards Against the Cosmere chat.

I saw two of these beautiful birds on my uni's campus this morning: Cedar Waxwings, named for the brightly tipped wings and tails that look like they've been dipped in old-fashioned letter-sealing wax. I like to call them "berry bandits" because of their love of berries (should be obvious from the photo XD) and because of their black eyemasks.

"Draw me like one of your French kittehs." Or "Why are you just standing there taking pictures? Fix my breakfast, human slave!"

Yeah, mouth blood looks hideous when it gets all over your teeth. Makes you look like you've gone all Hannibal Lecter.
