    I added 3 new owl species to my life bird list tonight! Only got a really good look at the Western Screech, but it was SO cool to hear (Long-eared) and see (Short-eared) the others. More info tomorrow when I'm not on my mobile and typing is easier.

That hawk in the first one looks like the bird version of Clarity Clarence. XD And where in Calamity did you find that epicly creepy fanart of the Bloodsealer??

    @maxal What do you wanna bet he's a hotel desk clerk on the graveyard shift like Brandon was? XD In other news, I finished A Conjuring of Light and very much enjoyed it. I'm now about 80 pages into Duskfall by Christopher Husberg and already super excited about the rest.

    @TwiLyghtSansSparkles and @Darkness Ascendant, thanks for the hugs. I needed them. Thankfully I was able to get a doctor's appointment this afternoon and pick up the medication a few hours later, so things are looking better. Sorry to hear about your shoulder, DA. Do you have some Tylenol or Ibuprofen (or other household painkiller) on hand? That might help with the pain until you can see a doctor.

    I have some underrated fantasy to recommend Nice Dragons Finish Last by Rachel Aaron (here's my review) Got Luck by Michael Darling (here's my review) Not strictly a fantasy since there's not actually any magic, but The Hidden Sun by J Lloyd Morgan (my review)

    I hate dealing with doctor's offices so much. I tried to call in a refill on my anti-anxiety meds at my pharmacy last week except it was expired, so I asked the pharmacy to fax the Dr for a new RX. A few days later I check back at the pharmacy and find out they faxed the wrong doctor, the one I haven't seen in several months, so obviously the prescription was denied since I'm no longer a patient there. So I called my current Dr to ask for a new RX, and now they're refusing to write me one until I've had an appt specifically for anxiety, even though they offered to write an RX like two weeks ago when I was in for something else and I declined because I thought I still had plenty of refills! Doesn't help that I'm an emotional wreck because I've already been going without the meds for almost a week now. Hugs please?

    I suggested Rock because this person said their new cat is a fairly large male, very sweet and a little shy with orange fur. Rock is a big guy but generally amiable, and Horneaters are known for having red hair.
