You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

Not to be nitpicky, but I believe the term is "Azish". -
So, @Delightful and I were talking about nothing in particular today, and for some strange reason, she challenged me to write a ketek in High Imperial about a Horneater princess and some boots. For some even stranger reason, I accepted and wrote this little ditty. I hope you enjoy it! Wasing the Horneater princess, paired with a new friend, of the taking of the boots, for her big two feet of the walking Wasing the apparently airsick lowlander giving of the insult, dishonoring of the name Naming of the dishonored, insult of the giving, lowlander’s airsickness of the apparent wasing Walking of the feet, too big for her boots, in the taking of the friendly new pair, the Horneater princess wasing Constructive criticism or questions about the hopeless obtuseness of the wording are welcome! Edit- I wrote this ketek in regular English first and then translated it as best I could into High Imperial, so I thought I might as well add on the original ketek to hopefully make the High Imperial one a bit more clear. Paired with a new friend, a Horneater princess then took boots for her big two feet on her walk An apparently airsick lowlander gave insult, dishonored her name Her name dishonored, insult given, the lowlander’s airsickness was apparent To walk on her feet, too big for her boots, took then the princess Horneater a friendly new pair I know I used a homophone in there instead of words with the same root, but I like the way it turned out, so there. Enjoy!

Shattered Plains-themed Chouta. They should serve that in the warcamps. -

I can't believe we're actually having a rational conversation about the possible divinity of poop. -

When you realize that the word "poop" would be considered holy in Vorin countries. -
I didn't watch the trailer because the crew at the panel specifically asked not to film it and I want to respect their wishes. They cut it out of the live stream for a reason, it was meant to be exclusively for those who bought tickets to RTX. Also, the quality is horrible and its not even finished. I'm going to wait until they finish it up and post it on the internet.

Why is no one on this thread excited?! RWBY volume 4 premieres October 22nd! Along with a time skip and new designs for everyone. What does everyone think about all the new stuff?

People who think they're being really friendly or "cool" but just come off as annoying and/or creepy. To a lesser extent, genuinely friendly and nice people who try to strike up a conversation with you, but you're *really* not in the mood or busy and they just WON'T TAKE THE HINT!

In Israel there's a country-wide program that takes high school students on trips to Poland to see the places where the holocaust took place. I went in 11th grade and I can still see those scratches on the walls. For some reason, they were what disturbed me the most. It felt very real and visceral and made me picture the people who made them. It was an intense experience, to say the least. -

That's where the skill comes in. Those musicians have to practice this to the point where you can't tell where they switch. -

I was just researching the didgeridoo for a character I'm building (long story) and I came across this really cool breathing technique used for several wind instruments called "circular breathing". Basically, when you're about to run out of air, you push the rest of the air you have left into your cheeks and slowly let it out into the instrument while breathing in through the nose and resuming blowing from the lungs once the air in your mouth is depleted, creating a seamless stream of air and a long, continuous note. Apparently, there was this guy who played the didgeridoo constantly with no breaks in his airflow for 50 minutes! How awesome is that? -
Has that happened to you? How on earth would people not like your attitude? You're the best!

Really cool theory! I haven't seen that one yet, but I just want to point out that that voice actor does a ton of roles for the show, so it might just be a coincidence. -

I know! They're the worst! It's bad enough when they're at the beginning of the video, but once I was watching RWBY (a web-series, highly recommended) and smack in the middle of a quiet, powerful and emotional moment a loud McDonald's ad starts playing. Storm you, Youtube! *shakes fist*

I've learned that in Hebrew Windrunner translates to Stormbinder. I find this immensely satisfying. -

You know that feeling when you wake up and feel as if you've been snoozing the whole night instead of actually sleeping? And then you have to get up anyway despite the fact that you can barely function? Sigh. Maybe some coffee will help. -
