  2. See-Saw slipped inside the large room through the wall, walking straight through everything in his path. All those who the invisible Epic passed through shivered and fell down, unconscious. The people who noticed the line of bodies tried frantically to get toward the walls, yelling at the people in their way to get out of it. a small show of chaos ensued. See-Saw materialized right behind the bar, and grabbed a can of coke, then jumped nimbly back over the counter. The dumbfounded bartender stood stunned. Finally he regained his ability to speak, "You'd better pay for that, you rascal!". See-Saw flipped a coin over his shoulder, and winked at one of the people trying not to stare at him. The young man quickly turned his gaze away, but turned back when he heard the bartender's outraged cry. "Hey! That's not even close to enough money!" The young man looked back toward See-Saw, but the young Epic was nowhere to be found. The bartender grumpily went back to serving his drinks. See-Saw grinned to himself, and went to sit at one of the nearly empty tables. He sat down, then re-materialized. The middle-aged woman at the table jumped, but quickly covered it with a cough. See-Saw laughed heartily, and then shook his can of coke furiously. He finally tilted it at one man standing close by, minding his own business, and opened the can. Coke sprayed all over the man, who quickly jumped out of the way, but nevertheless was soaked in sticky liquid. The man yelled at the Epic, and slowly approached the laughing man. He pulled a small gun out of his pocket, and aimed it at his head, growling threats. See-Saw smiled, and simply pulled his own massive pistol out of his pocket. The man's eyes widened, and he began to pull the trigger. See-Saw felt the bullet coming at him, as if in slow motion, and quickly turned Invisible. The bullet passed through the Epic's head, and planted itself firmly in the wall. The startled man with the now empty gun jumped back, but was too late. See-Saw materialized, and shot three bullets into the terrified aggressor. The bartender was yelling, but was too late. One man fell to the ground, bleeding profusely from his leg, and screaming in agony. See-Saw called over to the angry bartender, asking what all these famous Epic duels were about, and if he could join one or two...
  3. Hey, I started playing, and i requested to join your alliance. My username is Durza. please let someone know that you basically recruited me...
  4. No problem. ah, I see... Sorry, I forgot about the fact that cards are rather rare. So does Osterix go through body guards fairly quickly? (since they are killed fairly quickly) or are they somehow made into soul-less monsters? (just an idea) Wow, that shadow manipulation sounds pretty cool! Does that mean he can also manipulate light? I'm assuming Osterix has some sort of Leadership Card, correct? Does each card only have one function, or does one choose what that card does, just the Card is the portal from say, a magical world, into the real world, (kind of like in Words of Radiance)? Man, your idea is really getting me excited! So many possibilities with magic!
  5. Wow. I don't know where to begin. First, maybe I should state that I love your idea! That sounds really cool, and it would be so fun to just spend hours thinking up new Cards! I think that maybe an Assassin Base Card shouldn't be one of the most common ones, but instead maybe Worker or Businessman, since there should be commonfolk in your world. (unless it's a really corrupt world...) I came up with a slightly similar idea a while ago. Except each person had his own knowledge of different spells, which were often passed down from generation to generation. People often dedicated their whole life to collecting spells and finding new ones. (I guess it isn't all that similar) However, in my world there is also a greater magic afoot, which suddenly gave one man special powers which didn't require any spells to work. Almost everyone in my world knows at least a few weak spells. Spells take no energy or force of will to operate, and thus, anyone can do any spell. But spells are closely guarded secrets, only shared amongst good friends and family. The most powerful spells are pretty much always known only by the most powerful families or individuals. Maybe this can give you some ideas, as I don't plan on writing a book in this world yet.
  6. (See-Saw) Primary ability: Invisibility. His entire form goes out of being. He cannot teleport, but can move while in this formless form. Bullets go right through him while Invisible, and he can pass right through walls. He can't be seen, obviously. Secondary ability: Gifter: Curse. He can give this ability to people, either to inhibit or to help. Passive power: Sixth sense: Can sense things coming at him at great speeds, and thus can use his Invisibilty to protect him from projectiles. Weakness: you choose!
  7. Yeah, I know, i have posted there a few times, but i just wanted another page mainly for YOUNG worldbuilders... (Maybe i should have put emphasis on the 'young' part in the name. Just give your ideas about your own worlds!
  8. I think you should go with Spanish. Writing in your second and especially your third language is rather risky business, and there are a lot of english books out there, (I am guessing more than Spanish books, though I know nothing on this subject). I would suggest you keep trying with Venezuelan publishers, but if it's impossible, maybe try another Spanish-speaking country. Keep writing, and try not to worry about publishing untill you are close to finishing the book. Then you can do all the research you want. Good luck and DONT GIVE UP!!!
  9. What is this game of yours? I think I might check it out.
  10. These would make pretty sweet tattooes, eh? If I ever get a tattoo, i would probably do some sort of design like this...
  11. I would say that there are a number of approaches. First, you could try thinking of a climax, or a really exciting part in your story. Second, if you have already made the world in which your story takes place, then think of a rather large problem in your world, and how it might be solved. Third, you could think of some characters, and if your style is more like fantasy, think of what abilities your characters might have, or if they are just normal people, or totally horrible people. Fourth, .... I forgot what the fourth one was going be...
  12. Just Post anything to do with worldbuilding. Just as long as you have a good imagination, and decent descriptions, you will do great here!
